But have I've also been giving chances and listening to more interesting emo and pop rock acts who don't have the industry support jxdn has? Absolutely. Think of it this way: say you were given the choice to watch a movie - when that looks mediocre looking and one that looks interesting. You might watch the mediocre one down the line but you're going to want to seek out the one that looks interesting first. The same goes for albums. I give most project 3-4 listens on average, around 2 hours just like a standard movie runtime. So before you jump on my throat for not giving things a chance, maybe give these a chance before you come at me for not caring about a tiktoker making mediocre music.

Well, this question doesn't really merit an answer seeing as his album isn't dropping on Friday but I doubt he debuts 10 songs in the top 10 whenever his album drops.

I'm not deflecting anything. I'm not criticizing jxdn's project because I haven't heard it and I don't intend to because it looks mediocre. The same way you wouldn't watch a horror or romcom or comedy movie that looks lame and bad. We can give our thoughts and expectations of what it'll be. Is it bad to look at a trailer of something and say "that looks bad, I'm not going to watch it" or listen to a few songs and say "I'm not gonna listen to this project"? I've already told u I've heard some of jxdn's work. I didn't like it so why would I expect to like a full album of his? My back catalog is way too full atm.

Also I have no idea what project you think I criticized but didn't listen to so you're gonna have to explain that bit

It does show Taylor's charity work, though. When an artist (Drake, Taylor) is able to bring chart success to an act that has never experienced it, that sort of thing gets noticed.

It's... not charity. A lot of those acts mentioned have extensive genre work that goes beyond a couple low Hot 100 appearances. These latest Swift collabs are probably leftovers from the creative sessions of folklore and evermore, so if anything, her collaborators also did charity by giving her two chart-topping albums on a new genre previously unexplored by her.

I actually consider this song to be the best single that they have ever released since "Demons" which was released as a Single back in 2013. Yeah I could see this song performing better then "Follow You" did, If Pop radio were to get fully on board with this then perhaps it could become a future Top 10 Hit on the Hot 100 and their 5th Top 10 overall.

Nah, honestly Imagine Dragons hasn't put out much of anything good since Night Visions. I still think that album showed a lot of potential, which has since been squandered into the ground.

I'm conflicted about Maneskin's success. On one hand, I'm not wild about their music, especially their cover of Beggin'. On the other hand, it is cool that: (a.) a modern hard rock act that's (b.) Italian has developed a big following and is seeing success for both their English and Italian songs, and all of this story makes for great chart watching content.
