Beggin' (the cover) is rubbish, but I'm here for it charting well if it paves the way for I Wanna Be Your Slave. I wouldn't say rubbish but definitely would have preferred "I Wanna Be Your Slave" and "Zitti e Buoni" see this success instead of an unremarkable cover. Either way, great Eurovision success story. With "Arcade" still on the charts, too. The last two contests have been the most impactful in my lifetime.

iTunes made a mistake removing the discount for that song 2 days before Independence Day, to make way for 10,000 Hours and I Hope to be discounted for like the 735th time. i don't know why but it seems country genre always has the worst songs available at discounted price. Also Dan + Shay and Gabby Barrett songs being discounted in every occasion are tiring. Make me wonder what if someone like Chris Stapleton (which I remembered never discounted singles or albums, not even during AOTY nom for Traveller) discounts instead.

This summer ending up more boring than last summer. Wow. I really expecting a big push to get a bunch of summer songs out and prep new eras since many acts will likely tour in 2022. I thought last summer was one of the most busy summers for the charts in recent memory, we had 5 different number ones, like three album bombs, it was definitely interesting. Edit: As well as many top 10 debuts. I mean there were alot of #1 peaking songs but not a lot of #1 hits. 2020 has really shown the difference. As does streaming based on what's going on post week 1. I guess it was busy but i was expecting 4-5 contenders for song of the summer. Meh

Meh You have some high expectations, there’s hardly ever two songs competing for Song of the Summer let alone four or five, summer’s easily the slowest time for the chart other than Christmas.

I mean, we all know who'll debut at #1 I mean, i'm just glad there's MORE direct competition for them this time Also, Maneskin as well WW Liv was a great competition with 63M streams (2nd biggest streaming week of 2021), but that wasn't enough.
