I believe Country is one of the most popular music formats in the US. I'm guessing it's probably declined less than the other major formats during the streaming era. Apparently, the issues with how long it takes a track to get to the Top 10 or #1 isn't exactly a losing formula.
Country songs would be more popular if Top 40 picked them up then same way the do with other formats, but that's another issue.

Anyone who is cheering on the chart run of a song that has been on the charts for almost 90 weeks has no right to say that songs which have been on the charts for less than half (OTM) and far less than that (Deja Vu) should be discarded for others to move on from them. If people don't want to move on from songs that have been out for a few months, you of all people have no right to tell them to do so. One of Olivia's songs need to be the sacrificial lamb in order for traitor to succeed. It's going to be tough to promote 3 singles successfully at once. I've only seen it done one time: Justin Bieber in early 2016 (WDYM, Sorry, and Love Yourself). DL is falling off pretty naturally, and Traitor will slide in nicely after that. If you haven't noticed, Olivia and her team are already doing a good job promoting three singles simultaneously. |

Gotta keep an eye out for Selena at midnight! It is most likely something for her makeup brand or her new Hulu show though. (also happy 29th birthday Selena!) Itβs because Cardiβs releasing a collab with her. |

It is in the weekly Hot 100 chart just below the video up top, under "This week in the chart" just above the Hot 100 itself. It appears next to other weekly award gainers and debuts, including the Hot Shot one. OK Thanks The "Pro" chart has better graphics but doesn't have that LOL that is why I missed it Yeah. Figures that they'll make it prettier for the Pro version but omit including some of the most useful weekly information ... |

I'm really getting tired of these BTS Stans manipulating the Hot 100 chart, Hopefully "Good 4 U" can finally get that 2nd Week at #1 that it deserves. A Song selling 100K Copies should not equal a #1 if the Streams and Airplay of the Song in Question are nowhere near as Strong.

Imagine trusting the predicts of the exact same person who said Butter was outpacing Permission To Dance in digital sales last week when the latter almost sold three times as much as the former, and who had Butter locked for top 3 in mid-weeks and it wasn't even in the top 5.
