Pretty much lost interest in Sheryl Crow during the Wildflower era. She'll have a song or two perk interest for me, but that's about it.
Lost interest in Mariah during TEOM era. She has not rebounded for me other than a song here and there. I did enjoy her 2nd Christmas album though.
Declan Galbraith had 2 great albums, but he became more out of sight out of mind, and then he switched up to indie and it was just unimpressive.
I've kinda grown tired of Taylor Swift. Lover was the last album of hers I've gotten, and that was thanks to a Black Friday sale.

Forgot to mention Ariana Grande. I lost interest in her after Dangerous Women.

Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande. Both release way too much music to keep me interested in their body of work. Especially Biebs... like why??
Kanye - for obvious reasons. Can't stand him.
Drake - Feels like he peaked with NWTS/IYRT... eras. Views was awful and since then only listened to some of the hit singles here and there. I used to be a fan, even traveled to Stockholm to see him live. It was a disappointing show which probably had an effect on my interest.

With Certified Lover Boy and Dark Lane Demo Tapes back to back being the first two releases by Drake that had zero songs I really liked, I think it's time to admit that I'm no longer interested.

I had a Becky G phase a couple years ago, around when her song "Mayores" (with Bad Bunny) was smashing in 2017. I played her album Mala Santa (2019) a bunch, too. Her music and style got too repetitive after that though, so I haven't really checked out her releases for a while now.
I remember being obsessed with Echosmith's debut album Talking Dreams, especially "Come Together" being my jam. I haven't kept up with them at all after they released "Bright" as their follow-up to "Cool Kids." I adored both of those songs.
Unfortunately I was big into Camila Cabello's debut era as well, from "Crying in the Club" all the way until "Consequences." She lost me with "Sangria Wine" a little bit, then the Romance rollout was a mess and her old racist Tumblr page resurfaced. I haven't streamed her music at all since besides giving one single YouTube view to her singles.

Brandy and Monica are two. I was enjoying the former's music so hard for her Never Say Never, Full Moon, and Afrodisiac eras but I've found each album since Atlantic dropped her in '05 to be very lacking. I can't remember a single song from #B7. Monica lost me with The Makings of Me brought me back with the sublime Still Standing and lost me again with the snoozefests she's released since then, albums and stand-alone songs. There is a reason Aaliyah was the most innovative of the 3. BjΓΆrk is another as Ling-Ling mentioned, though I enjoy Volta quite a lot. It's everything after Volta plus MedΓΊlla that I'm just not into. I appreciate those four albums as art pieces but don't use anything from them the way I do songs like: Hyperballad, Human Behavoir, Aurora, Pagan Poetry, Earth Intruders, Joga, etc. Christina is one where I was so excited for Stripped and Back to Basics but have pretty much been disappointed starting with "Ain't No Other Man" and continuing through the present. Amerie is one who I stanned hard in the mid to late-00s but In Love & War was not as strong as her first three records and everything she's released since then has been lackluster. Conversely, Kelis, Britney, Robyn, Ciara, Jessie Ware, Mandy Moore, and Kesha have gotten better with time while Mariah, Janet, Kylie, Tegan and Sara, Mary J Blige, GaGa, Katy, and Stevie Nicks are consistent every time. Some of my faves like Pat Benatar, Tina Turner, Annie Lennox, and Whitney Houston (RIP) have just stopped recording.

I hate saying this especially since I was OBSESSED with her from 2011-2016, but Adele. After six years, she gives us empty promises of a new album, then says she doesnβt know when itβs coming out, then hosts SNL with no music announcement, and seems more interested in being a party girl then releasing new music. As a huge fan that seems like a slap in the face to her fans and I am not about that life. I donβt believe the November 5th rumors and have pretty much given up and moved on.
Also, Madonna. Will always love her 80s, 90s, and 2000s stuff, but her last few albums sucked and tried way too hard to pander to the younger crowd.

I used to like Logic a lot. I even liked the singles from Confessions of a Dangerous Mind despite the critical backlash to them. Then CoaDM was released as a full album and most of the album cuts were absolutely terrible. After that, I only listened to No Pressure once and I still haven't listened to Bobby Tarantino III.
I'll still come back to his older songs, especially the ones from The Incredible True Story. But I've lost interest in following his new releases, and I don't consider him a top ten current rapper like I used to.

Xtina. Avril. BeyoncΓ©. Madonna. Timberlake.
Gaga would have listed until this last album. But Iβm still not big on her as much as I was before ArtPop.

Alicia Keys Camilla Cabello Stop! I know you're trying to pi## me off! I remember when Havana dropped that was fun wasn't it Rebecca? Someone should make you aware that was the peak before the decline happened so FAST and so SWIFTLY and then she signed a contract with Shawn Mendes to play his girlfriend for clout. And then he left her and that ended SWIFTLY too. How sad and pathetic! Ouch. π

BeyoncΓ© came to mind but I would check out new music by her but I used to get pumped just hearing her name. Jody Watley I suppose. I stanned for awhile. Lol

Probably the best example for me is Imagine Dragons. I was obsessed with their first album and a handful of songs off the second one but they quickly lost me around the time βBelieverβ came outβ I never even check for them anymore.

Alanis Morissette Ashanti Justin Bieber - after he became generic and gross Justin Timberlake - after the Superbowl Paula Cole Prince - after 1998 or so Shakira Tiffany Vivian Green Some more: Ace Of Base - after the 2000s; I did hear a few things they put out since then and it's just not the same without so many of the original members not being on it and the change in sound Camila Cabello - her material has stopped being exciting and her racism stuff made me unstan Coldplay - did listen to a few singles here and there of the recent stuff but overall not feeling them like I used to David Guetta - liked a lot of his stuff up until a few years ago but now it's just too trendy and feels generic and blah; the last material I liked was his Jack Back project stuff. Ed Sheeran - I did like his earlier stuff up through "Bad Habits" but I feel his music is too boring now for me to waste time on Enrique Iglesias - his stuff became so generic and boring; I did like that song he did with Farruko he did this year Jason DeRulo - I don't specifically seek out his stuff since so much of it is a concerted effort to be a hit and it just doesn't. I still look at his photos as he routinely posts photos and videos of him wearing very little LeAnn Rimes - I still love her older stuff but have found some of her recent material to be so-so. MΓ₯ns ZelmerlΓΆw - I still check out his stuff every so often but I don't wait for it like I used to Pitbull - his stuff is just far too generic and blah Sia - her recent stuff has been so generic and blah for my liking; her gross behavior on social media also turned me off

Luke Combs is the first one that comes to mind for me. During his first era I LOVED him and he was easily one of my favorite male artists in the country genre to come out in quite some time. He has a great voice and I loved that his musical approach leaned more in the country direction than a lot of the newer males with poppier production and vocal deliveries. Then his sophomore album came out and it was solid, but it felt very samey both to the first record and also within itself, and the decline in my fanfare for him was expedited during this era because of two things: 1) he picked most of my least-favorite songs off the record to be hits and then 2) his overexposure at country radio beat those songs I already found to be a step down from his debut era's hits to death. I'm still holding out hope he switches it up for album #3 because he has tons of potential (especially with the status he has at radio), but I am tired of every song of his going down the same roads of either being a shouty uptempo or being a slow as molasses stripped back love ballad.

Madonna is one artist i'll never lose interest in even if i don't like new material as much.
I lost interest in Christina, Janet Jackson. I'm also in the middle with Mariah and Gaga. With Mariah, she has release many dull albums i can't relate to (even though Caution was a true return to form) and even though i liked Chromatica at the beginning, it aged like bad milk for me so i'm also losing interest in Gaga with the jazz album and movie projects.
