Both 94.9 and 99.7 are sick. I love them. 99.7 in particular takes way more risks than other pop stations i've listened to. I've heard songs that haven't charted in the Top 50 multiple times there before, and during the day, too. The main one I always remember is "Cruel Summer".

No disagreement here.  We have seen this happening with Lil Nas X right now, as well as in the last three eras at least (if not longer) with Arianna, as well as with Dua, to name but a few examples.  If an artist can have one big radio hit they can certainly have more than one in the contemporary radio climate.

Just a few years ago, I was SHOCKED when artists promoted multiple songs at once (ex: Ariana during the thank u, next era). Now, it's commonplace. Hell, Olivia & LNX have 2 songs in the Top 10 each. Makes sense

Sorry, it's funny because I just read this comment on the Billboard Hot 100 recap on YouTube. It's no big deal tho, I just find it coincident at the exact time I open Pulse. 😁

And yes, MEBF really did a great job. I also wished that MGK pushed some songs on Ticket To My Downfall album, like "kiss kiss" or "drunk face" which sounded like hits as well. I also hoped "papercuts" charts too.

Sorry, it's funny because I just read this comment on the Billboard Hot 100 recap on YouTube. It's no big deal tho, I just find it coincident at the exact time I open Pulse. 😁

I'd say its chance are pretty good for the YE.  It's certainly a bit of a late bloomer, but any weeks it has in the top part of the chart and especially if it increases in points give it plenty of time to do very well.

Edit:  And this thought came to me as I was listening to the video on this week's chart that although I have never streamed the song that I pretty regularly hear it on both alternative and CHR radio, although I did not realize it.

The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights" is now, officially, the longest charting hit in the Billboard Hot 100's history, as the song -- originally released in 2019 -- tallies its 88th week on the survey, dated Aug. 21, 2021.

It passes the 87-week Hot 100 run of Imagine Dragons' "Radioactive" in 2012-14.

As "Blinding Lights" adds perhaps its most notable chart record yet, here's a look at its most luminous stats (as of charts dated Aug. 21, with all data through Aug. 12, according to MRC Data).

88: Record number of weeks that "Blinding Lights" has spent on the Hot 100, from its debut on the chart dated Dec. 14, 2019.

43: Record number of weeks totaled in the Hot 100's top five. It passed The Chainsmokers' "Closer," featuring Halsey, and Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You," each with 27 weeks in the tier, for the achievement.

Here's a question that has wikipedia discography editors split on:

Is the #1 position on the Bubbling Under chart simply a #101 on the Hot 100?

Depending on who's discography you look at, some positions will be listed as 101-125 (or 135 for early singles), while other pages do not (using a footnote feature instead).

I’m mainly keeping the cutoff that low just to be safe. In reality, I think it’ll be closer to around where Goosebumps is. But at this point, with the way songs are progressing for the last quarter of the chart year, I just don’t see it being 1600 or higher. I could be wrong, though.
