I still have to actually LISTEN to the cd. Everyone drones on and on about how "high an artistic achievement it is" and all, but nothing in the first two singles indicates that. Its one of those albums I keep meaning to listen to, but never get around to it.

It's never too late to start writing their name as two words, either. Thank God someone finally said it.

Sorry, I like Dookie and all, but AI is on a higher level artistically, IMO. Totally agree

Ehh, bout time if you ask me. Don't get me wrong, I still love this song but I think it has run its course and it's time to move on to "Holiday".

Its one of those albums I keep meaning to listen to, but never get around to it. You're right in the fact that, if you only listen to the singles they release, it doesn't seem that artistic. I guess it's an album you have to listen to as a whole. When you do, the meaning of it just seems to pop out at you. But, if you're hard-hard-HARDcore Republican, you'll more than likely think it's a pile of poo.

How many weeks at #1 has it had now? The Feb. 4th chart marks their 8th week at #1 (not counting the two-week break).

Green Day could possibly top 6 charts simultaneously. I believe that would be a record.
#1 on Pop Hot AC Rock AAA Active Rock Alternative

Green Day could possibly top 6 charts simultaneously. I believe that would be a record. #1 on Pop Hot AC Rock AAA Active Rock Alternative They'll definitely have a lock on Rock and Alternative by the time this single tops CHR/Pop and Hot AC. Triple A and Active Rock are question marks. Particularly the latter, where Three Days Grace are heel-to-heel on Green Day, and Shinedown are not far behind. Jack Johnson and U2 are close enough on Triple A. Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Wouldn't five formats at the same time still be a record?

At this point, it looks to be six now. I don't see anybody catching Green Day on Active Rock for at least another couple of weeks. They're not falling fast enough yet.

That's not the chart that R&R tracks (which can be found here). Still, that 52-spin gap is too narrow to officially proclaim that Green Day will be #1 on all 6 formats by Sunday night.

The leader for "Home" is 56 spins on KFNK, whcih is on the r2m panel but not the r2r (what R&R uses) panel, so that would partially explain why "Home" is doing better on r2m than r2r. Green Day has a difference of 101 spins between the two chart, and Three Days Grace has a difference of 178 spins.

On KUCD, they play a mash up version featuring Oasis "Wonderwall" and Eminem "Sing For The Moment."

I've heard of that. It's by Party Ben and called "Boulevard of Broken Songs".

Yeah, one of KNDD's DJs discovered this and started playing it around November. It even briefly graced my personal chart. They still play it once in a while.

Thanks. It's interesting, and it's well done, I guess, but I was actually disappointed.

yea its ok...you try singing the lyrics and it switches from song to song too fast. You basically have to memorize the whole song to have fun listening to it. I rather just listen to them all separately. I had this problem with the JayZ/Linkin Park s**t too. Don't sing-a-long. You get robbed.

On today's Mediabase update, it's down 1-8 on Active Rock, which is the largest fall from #1 I've seen on any R&R or Mediabase chart.
