I think Fancy Like is gonna make it on the week of the 25th, considering next week is the Donda bomb and the week after is the CLB bomb.
It feels like it being stranded in the top 15 for so long has just been delaying the inevitable lmao

Really amazing to see the longevity of Deja Vu Not only that, but it finally broke its 11 consecutive week streak at being either #9 or #10. It now has spent 14 weeks either at #8, #9 or #10.

Deja Vu only one week away from matching Drivers License in the t10.
However, radio is falling faster now, and that man took over spotify so this will be a challenging week.

It now has a 13-week consecutive streak at #8-10 (remember it was #8 the week after peaking at #3 and before the #9 and #10 streak). Oddly enough, it has never charted in the #4-7 range.

Bieber rewrites his longest reign as a lead artist.
The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber's "Stay" scores a fourth week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart.
Notably, among Bieber's eight Hot 100 No. 1s, "Stay" passes the three-week reign of "Sorry" in 2016 for his longest reign as a lead artist. He's topped the chart longer only as featured on Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's "Despacito," for 16 weeks in 2017.
Plus, Dua Lipa's "Levitating," at No. 6 on the Hot 100, notches its 34th week in the top 10, passing Maroon 5's "Girls Like You," featuring Cardi B, for the longest top 10 stay among songs by women in the chart's history.
The Hot 100 blends all-genre U.S. streaming (official audio and official video), radio airplay and sales data. All charts (dated Sept. 4) will update on Billboard.com tomorrow (Aug. 31). For all chart news, you can follow billboard and billboardcharts on both Twitter and Instagram.
"Stay," released July 9 on Raymond Braun/Columbia Records/Def Jam, drew 63.4 million radio airplay audience impressions (up 25%; good for top Airplay Gainer honors on the Hot 100 for a third consecutive week) and 31.7 million U.S. streams (down 3%) and sold 13,700 downloads (down 4%) in the week ending Aug. 26, according to MRC Data.
The track adds a sixth week atop the Streaming Songs chart and rises 5-4 on Digital Song Sales and 7-6 on Radio Songs.
With a fourth week atop the Hot 100 for "Stay," Bieber rewrites his longest command as a lead artist, as the song surpasses his "Sorry," which led for three weeks in 2016. He has dominated longer only via his featured turn on Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's "Despacito," for 16 weeks in 2017.
Here's an updated look at all eight of Bieber's Hot 100 No. 1s, ranked by most weeks on top:
16 weeks, "Despacito," Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee feat. Justin Bieber, hit No. 1 on May 23, 2017 4 weeks (to date), "Stay," The Kid LAROI & Bieber, Aug. 14, 2021 3 weeks, "Sorry," Jan. 23, 2016 2 weeks, "Love Yourself," Feb. 13, 2016 1 week, "Peaches," feat. Daniel Caesar & Giveon, April 3, 2021 1 week, "Stuck With U," with Ariana Grande, May 23, 2020 1 week, "I'm the One," DJ Khaled feat. Bieber, Quavo, Chance the Rapper & Lil Wayne, May 20, 2017 1 week, "What Do You Mean?," Sept. 19, 2015
"Stay" also hits No. 1 on the mainstream top 40-based Pop Airplay chart, jumping from No. 5 as the radio ranking's Greatest Gainer (up 15% in plays). The Kid LAROI earns his first Pop Airplay No. 1 and Bieber adds his ninth, tying Bruno Mars for the most among solo males, dating to the chart's 1992 inception. Overall, Maroon 5, Katy Perry and Rihanna lead with 11 Pop Airplay No. 1s each, followed by Bieber, Mars, P!nk and Taylor Swift, each with nine.
Ed Sheeran's "Bad Habits" holds at its No. 2 Hot 100 high. It keeps at No. 3 on Radio Songs (75 million, up 4%) and climbs 4-3 on Digital Song Sales (15,800, essentially even week-over-week) and 7-5 on Streaming Songs (16.2 million, down 2%).
Olivia Rodrigo's "Good 4 U," which ruled the Hot 100 in its debut week in May, repeats at No. 3, as it leads Radio Songs for a third week (76.3 million, on par with the prior frame).
Doja Cat's "Kiss Me More," featuring SZA, rebounds 5-4 on the Hot 100, after reaching No. 3, and Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow's "Industry Baby" bumps 7-5, returning to the top five four weeks after it debuted at its No. 2 high. The latter also adds a fourth week each atop the multi-metric Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs charts, which use the same methodology as the Hot 100.
Dua Lipa's "Levitating" keeps at No. 6 on the Hot 100, after hitting No. 2. It posts a 34th week in the top 10, passing Maroon 5's "Girls Like You," featuring Cardi B, for the longest top 10 stay among songs by women. Overall, it claims outright the third-longest run in the region in the chart's 63-year history. Most weeks in Hot 100's top 10: 57, "Blinding Lights," The Weeknd, No. 1 peak (four weeks), beginning April 4, 2020 39, "Circles," Post Malone, No. 1 (three weeks), Nov. 30, 2019 34, "Levitating," Dua Lipa, No. 2, May 22, 2021 33, "Sunflower (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse)," Post Malone & Swae Lee, No. 1 (one week), Jan. 19, 2019 33, "Girls Like You," Maroon 5 feat. Cardi B, No. 1 (seven weeks), Sept. 29, 2018 33, "Shape of You," Ed Sheeran, No. 1 (12 weeks), Jan. 28, 2017 BTS' "Butter" lifts 8-7 after nine weeks atop the Hot 100, as it leads Digital Song Sales for a 13th week (68,800, up 25%, sparking the chart's top Sales Gainer award). Rounding out the Hot 100's top 10, Olivia Rodrigo's "Deja Vu" ascends 9-8, after hitting No. 3; Lil Nas X's former one-week leader "Montero (Call Me by Your Name)" rises 10-9; and The Weeknd and Ariana Grande's "Save Your Tears" returns to the tier (11-10), also after a week at No. 1. Again, for all chart news, you can follow billboard and billboardcharts on both Twitter and Instagram and all charts (dated Sept. 4), including the Hot 100 in its entirety, will refresh on Billboard.com tomorrow (Aug. 31).

Deja Vu only one week away from matching Drivers License in the t10. However, radio is falling faster now, and that man took over spotify so this will be a challenging week. Yeah, if it weren't for Kanye or Drake, it might have been able to do the unthinkable and spend more weeks in the top ten than drivers license. Still a possibility it might return later, but like you said with decreasing airplay and overall points, it's not likely. It might, however, spend more weeks total on the chart than DL'S 28.

Tombstone survives a 22nd week on the Hot 100 at #72. It should now have enough points to make the 2021 YE, although whether it will make it remains to be seen depending on whether Kanye and/or Drake will have any hits with high-charting staying power from their albums.

At what point does it stop being a top ten and a favorite song or two in the top ten.

Isn't it great how such varied judgments we have of the same ten songs? I think it's a mixed bag myself, but it usually is.

Regardless of quality, can we all agree that the top 10 has become ungodly boring to watch over the past few months outside of whenever anything debuts there? I swear, barely anything has moved in that region since Sour dropped.

I love 7/10 of the songs here, which is quite a rare occurrence.
1. Kiss Me More β I kinda stopped listening to this as much after the album dropped, but went back recently and... still sounds so fresh. 2. Levitating β BOP. pun intended. 3. deja vu β so happy seeing this here, so long after its debut. one of my favorites on SOUR. 4. Montero β what a moment. seeing Lil Nas X thrive warms my heart. September 17 can't come soon enough. 5. Save Your Tears (Remix) β remix >>> original, and I already liked the solo version. 6. good 4 u β song of the summer. 7. Industry Baby β absolute banger. there are better songs on his album, though. π
= = = BARRIER = = =
8. Stay β meh. they both sound annoying to me. 9. Bad Habits β the definition of generic & faceless. the inspo for the music video was a "try not to cringe" challenge, I'm guessing. 10. Butter β like a criminal undercover.

Tbh aside from Butter and Stay I can listen to and enjoy most of the top ten. Bad Habits is pretty bad but its listenable. It's not as bad as Stay imo.

Kiss Me More is now the 3rd song by a female artist to spend at least 20 weeks in the top 10 (After Levitating and Don't Start Now) from this decade so far. Fourth, If we count Ariana's co-lead on Save Your Tears (solo version spent 12 weeks in the top 10).

This is pretty much what I think too. The only major thing I would change is put the weak sounding Paramore cover to the other side of the barrier. And of course switch the order of some of the songs above the barrier

I personally don't hate the song, I just think it's aggressively mediocre, and I can see how that would bother some people. It's precisely the sort of song that I will listen to on the radio and not change it, but never seek it out personally.
