Tbh I was pretty apathetic about that. On my first listen, I'd just assumed he told them no cursing. For the songs not called Tell The Vision it wasn't a huge problem, IMO.

Longevity is important. I think Donda and CLB will come and go, but Stay will continue to be there after they have come and gone. I think when it is all said and done, when we look back in 2038, Stay will be the biggest thing in music in 2021.

The two positives to come out of the Kanye and Drake album bombs for me as a chart-watcher are (1) two major album bombs finally coming to shake up the increasingly stale Hot 100, and (2) hopefully delaying Fancy Like's inevitable surge into the top 10 by a couple weeks (unless the song gets there this week of 9/4).

Yeah, 91 weeks is exactly one-and-three-fourths year. 90 would also be a round multiple of 10. For me, the only one that would have been odd to go off on was 89 because it’s prime number (the next one would have been 97).

I’ve already moved on from this. There are 3 other new Abel songs to talk about: You Right, Take My Breath, and Hurricane. Plus, it’s refreshing to have an organic, long-running #1 on the Hot 100. We really haven’t had that since The Box.
