First extra for today was the biggest hit for this singer from NYC. Peaking at #6 on the soul chart and #9 on the Hot 100, it's been covered numerous times over the years.
What You Won't Do For Love - Bobby Caldwell
Next, the biggest hit on the soul chart for this band from Los Angeles, peaking at #18. With backing vocals by Cheryl Lynn, it actually did better here than on the Hot 100, where it got no higher than #48. It was notably covered by Eric Benet and Faith Evans in 1999, and MC Lyte sampled it for her song "Poor Georgie".
Georgy Porgy - Toto
The song's chorus is an adaptation of the nursery rhyme "Georgie Porgie".

My God. I can't believe I forgot this song. This song was played incessantly. Dionne was the bomb for a while and it seems like she sang this on every telethon when I was a kid. Never knew that Barry Manilow was involved with this.

I know most of these songs. I will do this tonight or this evening. Sometimes when there’s 40 songs on the list it can get overwhelming. Lol
