I guess we'll see if Thriller manages to re-enter the Hot 100 this week. It was #94 on Spotify, which doesn't count toward this week, but gives us a baseline of reference there. It is currently #79 at Apple Music and #19 at iTunes. It has more than 20 weeks charting, so it needs to be above 50 to chart, so most likely not. All catalog titles whether 20 weeks or not need to be higher than 50 |

He apparently does already have another album in the can set for release next year, though. I read so as well. That's why he has his Mathematics "+–=÷x" set up to start on April 23rd next year. |

Thriller's re-entry confirmed Not funny, but for real, the chances of it re-entering is low. Unlike in previous years, it’s behind some other Halloween songs. I think Monster Mash (it’s already 7 on iTunes) has the best chance this year, but I don’t think it will chart. Do you know why you are developing a reputation of being a chartstradamos that is quite entertaining to most of us? |

Has Monster Mash ever re-entered this century? The only Halloween song that ever re-enters is Thriller. My pop station and many around the country usually throw Thriller on for the season but no other "Halloween songs," so MJ's airplay will be higher.

Thriller is re-entering any attempt to to doubt so playing against chart gods. That said, as I alluded to before: kinda sick of Thriller being played every Halloween, especially since I think there's a better MJ "horror" song
Also self-promo of other Halloween songs that deserve attention outside of the 5 that get played every year.

I'm honestly okay with Stay's position on radio, but I don't understand those gains after 4 months. Radio dropped drivers license 2 months after the release and DL was still in the top 3 on Spotify.

The album might stick around for quite some time. Also Gaga had momentum from A Star Is Born soundtrack/movie and the massive hit "Shallow". Ed's last album No.6 Collaborations Project did well, but wasn't massive and a big step down from Divide. His album will likely outsell Chromatica in the long run. |

What happened to Ed Sheeran's streaming power? The only reason why those two songs of his are top ten is because of Billboard's formula favoring airplay. The streaming on them are pretty pitiful, though. He used to be a force with streaming
