Regarding SZA, if it were up to her label, they would've released the album already. The last i heard she scrapped the album and started to re-record it and she was having problems with her record label. Maybe she's punishing them by delaying it?

One would think that TDE is a progressive and nice label for artists.

I dont have any of the Amazon products so I have no idea how it works, but what's the chance that amazon exclusives does that well bc they would always be prioritized whenever a command to "play Christmas songs" is made on an Echo or stuff like that?

One would think that TDE is a progressive and nice label for artists. RCA is her main label and distributer. She's not really contractually tied to TDE outside of doing guest features for actual TDE acts.

Something tells me Billboard screwed up something with the two versions of It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas this week. Pretty sure the Buble version should be #21 and the Como version should be #32.

Pretty sure the Buble version should be #20 and the Como version should be #32. The Como version might have more airplay and streams on other platforms besides Spotify. on Spotify, the Buble version is higher but I don't know what the stats are on other websites.

No way any Christmas songs should be losing like that on a relatively normal week while another re-enters that high above several other staples. I genuinely think Billboard had a mix-up here.

Not sure this is the right place to ask it but anyway.
I saw Adele is #1 on the Hot 100 and the Global 200 excluding US. Ok. So how come Mariah is #1 on the Global 200? I understand the Global 200 takes into account the US charts and the non-US charts, and Adele is #1 on both. Am I missing something?

Notable Losses:
#42. Taylor Swift - All Too Well (Taylor's Version) (-21) Already outside the Top 40 in Week 4. It will probably fall outside the Top 75 next week, and be off the charts the following week. Unless Taylor's team makes a full push on radio, don't expect much of a recovery after Christmas.

It's worth noting that Dua Lipa's "Levitating" has gone recurrent after 60 weeks at the Hot 100, and "Save Your Tears" now notched a full year on the charts.
Which means next week's Christmas Billboard Hot 100 won't have this year's YE Top 2, another iconic and amazing Top 2 also backed up with insane longevity with 112 weeks on the Hot 100, not as high as last year's YE Top 2 ("Blinding Lights" and "Circles" that had a cumulative 151 weeks at Hot 100)

Butter managed to re-enter at #4 in Hot 100 Recurrents. Wild Side not only dropped out of the Hot 100, but didn't even manage to chart in Hot 100 Recurrents. And there's some competition among the holiday songs, with some of them actually having losses and some significant reshuffling in the Holiday 100. And yeah, the White Christmas Spotify fiasco continues to be rectified further for A Holly Jolly Christmas.

Lol the posts in this thread have made me more sick of “Blinding Lights” than the overplay ever did. Please refrain from posting about it incessantly as it is currently not relevant to the Hot 100.

Okay we really need to see how strong these Amazon exclusives are because how did this gain when it's only available on Amazon? Where is Taylor's song ranked on Amazon's chart?

Further proving that Amazon Music is by far the biggest streaming service for Christmas songs in the US and Kworb should add the charts to his website.

Off the top of my head ones I remember are Party Rock Anthem/Rolling In the Deep, Somebody That I Used to Know/Call Me Maybe, Thrift Shop/Blurred Lines, Boom Boom Pow/Poker Face, etc. They always have to be sort of iconic.

Further proving that Amazon Music is by far the biggest streaming service for Christmas songs in the US and Kworb should add the charts to his website. It is definitely huge for Christmas music, but I don't know how much impact it has the other 46 weeks of the year. Having said that, Taylor's song is only #40 on Holiday Streaming Songs and #50 on the overall Holiday 100. It probably wouldn't make the Hot 100 if a lot of the songs above it weren't recurrent. The lowest ranked song on the Holiday 100 to be in the top 50 of the Hot 100 is "(There's No Place Like) Home for the Holidays" at #20. So, nearly 30 holiday songs are above Taylor's song but not on the Hot 100 because of recurrency rules.

Not sure why you're that surprised: new Christmas releases aren't streaming magnets the year they're released. Carrie Underwood's Christmas album last year didn't have much traction despite it selling well, neither have the slew of Christmas albums that've been released the past few weeks. The Jennifer x Mariah x Ariana Christmas collab from last year took DAYS after release to chart and it didn't even chart in the Top 100, it was always in the bottom half, and that song was actually being promoted heavily and hyped up on social media. I get that in a general sense, but she had a TV special last week and has done other promo. I expected it to help more than it apparently did, at least the Ariana duet since she's still pretty relevant. Well I guess you severely underestimated how much that Ariana duet was going to do since it's right at the bottom of the Bubbling Under chart

Anyway considering how many holiday songs aren't charting because of recurrency, that Bubbling Under position doesn't mean much. It's #90 on the Holiday 100. All I said is that I was surprised the songs weren't top 200 on Spotify.

Non-holiday top 10:
1. Easy On Me 2. Stay 3. I Hate U 4. Industry Baby 5. Heat Waves 6. Shivers 7. Need to Know 8. abcdefu 9. Bad Habits 10. Cold Heart
Just helpful to see what the top 10 might look like after the New Year!

I worry that these may be the only top tens that Cold Heart makes, but I hope I'm just being too pessimistic.

I could have sworn that was 4 years ago, and it was battling Perfect for #1. Then again, Perfect was on the charts for a long time, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was still near the top of the UK charts a full 2 years later.
