I must be the only one who liked the Roddy album. I think it's consistent and has potential hits with songs like All Good, Hibachi, and Murda One.

My slogan for Heat Waves: It just keeps going! I'm actually interested to see where this song would be on the next June. For a song titled "Heat Waves" and explicitly containing the lyric "late nights in the middle of June", it's a great surprise that it peaked during winter. It'd need to get into the top five of all time most weeks on the Hot 100 to make it to next June, which would require a Radioactive-esque chart run, but that doesn't seem particularly implausible at this point. I don't see it lasting much longer than that, though.

Apparently, Meghan Trainor released a music video for her 2014 song "Title". It's currently getting viral on TikTok.

I think Beyoncé will do a surprise drop, that's probably why her team was quick to squash the rumor. I wonder how this will work out for her this time...

A lot of the Gen Z's on TikTok probably haven't even heard it before. Very minute chance it will become an actual bonafide hit, however Meghan is a huge guilty pleasure of mine so I wouldn't be against it!

Apparently, Meghan Trainor released a music video for her 2014 song "Title". It's currently getting viral on TikTok. backstory on this: "Title" was intended to be her follow-up single to "All About That Bass" in 2014. they shot the video, and her debut EP and album are both literally named after the song. at the very last minute, her label heard "Lips Are Movin" and thought it would connect with people more, so they ran with it. "Title" charted on the Hot 100 at No. 100 in 2014, and the music video was included in the Special Deluxe DVD Version of her debut album, without ever getting a wide-release—until now. (so it's technically a 7 year old song, and a 7 year old -but new to most- video we're talking about!)

Look at Mariah getting there as the only non-streaming era (and one of the only not featured on 213 songs) artist!

White Christmas rose 20-5 at Spotify. The top 10 is mostly holiday songs except for Broadway Girls. The song highest ranked from Roddy Ricch's album is at #72. The day before it was #32.

Plus, that "White Christmas" glitch reared its head again. Wtf Spotify?

Look at Mariah getting there as the only non-streaming era (and one of the only not featured on 213 songs) artist! Taylor has only a few feature hits and none of them would be in her top 10 most successful songs

I think Beyoncé will do a surprise drop, that's probably why her team was quick to squash the rumor. I wonder how this will work out for her this time... Diminishing returns but that can still lead to healthy numbers (by 2022 standards, see also: evermore).

Why is it so hard to see the charts for Amazon Music US? I can only access my own regional chart. Can anybody share a link please?

I kinda like Break Free, Boom Clap, and Chandelier. The rest I could do without.

Oof, what an awful period for pop music. I only (barely) like one of these 11 songs, and it's not any of the top 10. Everyone's taste in music is different. I think this was an AMAZING top 11 I would agree it is a good top 11 but not for its quality. It's certainly a top 11 that has many memorable hits either good or bad.

It sometimes question how 2015 ended up being so much better than 2014, they seem like polar opposites quality wise.

How the top of the charts looked like in late 2014 when Title was supposed to be the 2nd single before being pulled in favor of Lips Are Movin: <button disabled="" class="c-attachment-insert--linked o-btn--sm">Attachment Deleted</button> i'll put my 2 cents in on this top 10 that top 6 is f ucking putrid lmao
