She is on Seth's show again on Tuesday............ still not performing. Guessing it's "Barbie" promo for "Dance the Night." She's actually performing "Houdini" for the very first time there.

I figured she wasn't performing because she was listed as the first guest and the performers are usually on at the end.
Looks like they finished what they didn't get to during Day Drinking with Seth. The wheelchair.. lmao.

Guessing we'll be getting a "Dance the Night Away" + "Houdini" medley.

Dua was interviewed by Rolling Stone, being the cover girl of the magazine. She revealed that her new album is going to have 11 tracks and eight of them were co-written with Caroline Ailin, Danny L Harle, Tobias Jesso Jr. and Kevin Parker. You could read it here. https://www.instagram.com/p/C2KeqFgM08G

Strong team of writers. I wonder how much the album will sound like Desire, I Want To Turn Into You by Caroline Polachek x Tame Impala. Very excited! Rolling Stone is behind a paywall, btw, so I can't read their articles anymore.

11 tracks is perfect imo, before the inevitable complete edition in a year or so lol.

She better skip Houdini and perform the new single as part of medley with Dance The Night at the Grammys.

I'm more surprised they didn't nudge her to perform "Dance the Night" since it's nominated in the GF. But at the end of the day, that song has lost most of its chances at any big awards and has been out for so long that I'm not really mad about her doing only new material.

Oh wow, so we’re getting a new single this week or next? Most likely, February 2. I'm more surprised they didn't nudge her to perform "Dance the Night" since it's nominated in the GF. But at the end of the day, that song has lost most of its chances at any big awards and has been out for so long that I'm not really mad about her doing only new material. I'm also surprised about this, but at the same time I think that Dua could possibly negotiated with the GRAMMYs that she's interested to perform in the ceremony if and only if she does new material and, not necessarily, "Dance the Night". I mean, it's known that the GRAMMYs want the artists to perform the songs that were successful during the eligibility period and there are few who use that platform to promote their new stuff, so I'm glad that Dua is going with the latter route.

Tea. 20-25 years ago they would have made a huge stink about someone not performing nominated work (or if they performed said work at the AMAs that aired 2-3 months prior, that was even worse). The only egregious example since then that I can think of is Ari declining to perform based on their requirements a few years ago.. don't think we've heard much of it since then, especially once Neil Portnoy was forced out.

I’m skeptical that TS is being performed with Houdini at the Grammys. It would make no sense to perform it almost two weeks before it is released. I think we’re gonna get a medley with DTN.

I wish that Training Season announcement was for the album, but that would be too soon, I imagine. Also, the cover is awkward, unlike FN's iconic album cover. Pre-sale announcement of singles is so annoying though. I just want the album! Stop teasing!

I'm skeptical too, but there was a hint about it though. I mean, the navy crewneck that Dua is wearing at the GRAMMYs rehearsal is a "Training Season" merch, which is the reason why many people, including me, think that the second song is that one instead of "Dance The Night". Also, a reliable source mentioned that the original release date of the track was going to be next Thursday, but it looks like it was pushed back two more weeks until the 15th. to coincide with the bundles (in a sort of way to maximize everything during the first week). That said, a pre-order digital link is up, so a performance of this might still happen. 🤷 I wish that Training Season announcement was for the album, but that would be too soon, I imagine. Also, the cover is awkward, unlike FN's iconic album cover. Pre-sale announcement of singles is so annoying though. I just want the album! Stop teasing! At this rate, I'm expecting the album to drop sometime during Q2 if it's considered that there's some festival dates announced in July.

She’s on a mission to become my second favorite artist. I’m obsessed with her trajectory so far.

I dig the Training Season clip, but doesn't sound like any more of a hit than Houdini.

I was saying I want an ALBUM announcement, not a single announcement, LOL. Also, the name of the album has not been confirmed. I assume that picture is the cover of the Training Season single that she is releasing in Feb. Watch it be Optimism, LOL.

So recently her demo for Borderline has surfaced online, I like how it sounds and if they finished it for FN it would have been great though, the "I cross my heart and hope to die" line not being in this version is interesting since its one of the standout lines in the original's hook. Part of me wishes we got the song as a duet between Dua and Tove with the final versions lyrics, the production is virtually the same at its core too.

Dua performed "Training Season" and "Houdini" (with an interlude of "Dance the Night") on the GRAMMY last night. Parts of her performance are below until it's uploaded officially on her YouTube channel.

One of the more entertaining performances last night with both choreography and visual production.

It's been known that Dua is going to perform during some festivals in Poland, Belgium, Croatia, Spain and Portugal during the first two weeks of July of this year so far, so a tour promoting her third album seems possible at this point. Right now, it has been announced that she will be touring through LATAM next year. It's unknown the countries (hopefully Peru this time!) and the dates (or which quarter of next year) though.
