In the same vain, it is almost a no-show at US Spotify with only 6 songs in the top 200. Even doing worse there is Dababy and Youngboy NBA's album with only two songs. These gaps shouldn't be that surprising, but continues to show how poorly rap artists do at Spotify overall with their albums, especially the non A-list rappers.

Also, surprised that MGK's new song ended being the highest song to debut in US Spotify at #7 yesterday. At AM, it is currently #134.

exceptional considering Mgk - ay has awful playlisting on Spotify (previously he's atleast getting some good rock playlisting but this doesn't fit dat mould) & On AM it's not even shown on his artist page, no playlist presence, it can only be found on his album preorder page dat might be da reason for being #134 tho ( considering trash like emo girl reached top40 😬)

That album bomb is nothing to talk about really. Was much the same for YoungBoy a couple weeks ago, also for Gunna and Kodak, they all got early hype and fizzle out in the same week. King Von should have pushed Kodak Black way way down if it was really super big. Sorry but Spotify already sealed its fate. However, still a good showing for King Von, don't think he had an album bomb like that before.

Y'know if people aren't really caring about music right now (or at least on specific song), so be it. It happens from time to time, there's no big conspiracy behind why; it's nothing to really be that upset about, and right now there are more important issues right now than the points on the Hot 100 being low. And even if you don't care about the news, there's too much good music being released (I list them weekly). If people aren't listening to good music, that's their problem.

^Its sales boost didn't continue yesterday and I don't think its radio growth will be enough to make up any losses that Heat Waves might have during the week. Also, I believe its streaming will continue to be behind, especially at both Spotify and Apple Music.

The discount was removed, so the sales boost is likely not going to carry over into this tracking week. If abcdefu is going to #1, it will need to hold well on pop radio. Once it is dropped on pop radio, abcdefu's chances of getting to #1 are pretty much over.

Well, Gayle had an iTunes discount, while Kodak sneaked in SG in his album release last tracking week. We will find out tomorrow if either quick stunt worked. I think HW will be #1, but if either abcdefu or SG edged it out, it’s not going to be as big of a surprise as when IB pulled off the #1 over Stay the week before EOM.
