Blown Away had really high highs (BA, TBC, SYA, GG, Do You Think About Me, Wine After Whiskey), but also a handful of songs I don't listen to (Nobody Ever Told You, Leave Love Alone, One Way Ticket, Cupid's, Who Are You (Carrie's worst song next to Play On?). Daddy pump your brakes. You calling Play On and Who Are You among her worst is the slander we don’t need. They are both good and the messages in the songs are absolutely appropriate.

I will agree with the "Who Are You" comment about being the worst on the album. It was produced by Shania's Mutt but it doesn't sound like it at all. However, "Play On" is one of my favorites from its album.

I don’t know if this is possible, but I’d love to see her retire HGTA and replace it with “Go Rest High..” this tour.

Okay mama but I’m not here for repetative and generic. Ecspecially when “Oklahoma Wind” was right there begging to be the BA album closer. Carrie’s album closers are usually not my cup, although her last three album closers have been better. I especially like “Kingdom”. As far as tour predictions, I think we’ll get an 80s medley including a Wham! song. She’ll “fly” during GS. I have a feeling she’ll want to differentiate this show from her Vegas set and can achieve that with a different song order. Meaning I think we’ll get a different finale song.

Perhaps an unpopular opinion but her best albums in terms of quality (vocals, songwriting, storytelling, arrangements) are: My Savior (her arrangements are just as timeless as the originals) > My Gift (great covers and underrated originals FTOY) > Greatest Hits (made me a fan) > Blown Away > Some Hearts > Storyteller > Carnival Ride/Play On > Denim & Rhinestones

I mean, no surprise about D&R getting a slot considering…it’s the D&R Tour.
That ‘Poor’ clip is lifting my spirits tho. That drum solo!

Good Girl Church Bells Undo It Hate My Heart Cowboy Casanova If I Didn’t Love You Wasted She Don’t Know Blown Away (acoustic intro) Burn Cry Pretty Ghost Story Two Black Cadillacs Garden Jesus Take The Wheel / HGTA Crazy Angels Denim & Rhinestones Flat on the Floor Poor Everybody Else Last Name Something in the Water Welcome to the Jungle Before He Cheats
I have no idea what “Flat On The Floor” is doing there. Honestly, swap that one and the Jason duet out with PC and VH and you’d have a perfect setlist. Those two being excluded are shockers. I knew we had no chance of WW or “Faster.”

I mean, no surprise about D&R getting a slot considering…it’s the D&R Tour. The Album (thus tour) may bear its name but that doesn't mean D&R deserves a performance when songs like Pink Champagne, Velvet Heartbreak, She Don't Know, and Wanted Woman are relegated to interludes.

I don’t think SDK is an interlude. I read that she performs it with props? I don’t know exactly what that means though lol.

Some are calling it a musical interlude and some not. Props?? Interesting. I'm still bent out of shape that Garden and Flat on the Floor took two very valuable spots.

Utterly shocked at no VH or PC …. Those just seem like they were made for a live show? And in their place FOTF and TBC? GTFO.
Other than that, an amazing set list. Cannot wait to see this show!
Might be safe to assume PC and VH are out of the running as singles, which baffles me… but SDK, Burn, and CA are all solid choices. I guess when there’s an album of bops from top to bottom there’s bound to be some cuts, but damn… those are two of the highest streaming tracks, and it feels like once again they might be missing the mark with singles!? I will say, though unlikely, “See You Again” wasn’t performed on tour until it was a single, albeit towards the very end, so you never know!

It's odd so little from the Cry Pretty era. Did Carrie/her team think that era should be forgotten due to the singles' performances? If so I imagine no song from D&R will be played next tour Also, Carrie, why did you cut Blown Away but not Flat on the Floor? oh my

Somehow not surprised that Garden is on the setlist. It's a personal song for her this album.
Seriously though, this is D&R tour and she chose to ditch songs like VH, PC and Faster over old songs that we have heard and seen so many times over so many tours? I don't get it, it's like she can't let go of some songs.

I don’t think SDK is an interlude. I read that she performs it with props? I don’t know exactly what that means though lol. It was a hoot. She performed it with a glass of red wine and ended the song with a drink of it. Very clearly she was storytelling as the wronged wife. Very effective. Needs to be a single.

Just getting home and settled. Will share more tomorrow. Quick observations: 1) Carrie's voice is in top form. And, she is connecting even more with the audience this time around. 2) She performed the hell out of Poor Everybody Else and Welcome to the Jungle. 3) Blown Away was great with an acoustic opening. Nice change of pace and beautifully done. 4) She really connected with Jesus Takes the Wheel tonight. It was moving for sure. 5) Crazy Angels aerials > Ghost Story aerials. 6) For those who are disappointed with Garden being included, it makes sense in the show. And she sings it beautifully. 7) She pulled a fast one with the opening. All indications were that is was going to be Pink Champagne, even the cork pop and confetti through the arena. Then, she launched into Good Girl. 8) Never ever lose Wasted from the setlist. 9) I enjoyed Flat on Floor being in the show. The two that I would be fine without are Undo It and Last Name. 10) Watching the songs that she performed from D&R, my new guess for remaining singles are Burn and She Don't Know. Slight chance for Crazy Angels.

My current conspiracy theory has me thinking that come spring she will include VH and PC. Remove Garden and…..personally i would love to see CP go away. Nothing against it, other than i would just rather her move on from it. It served its purpose 3-4 yrs ago, we don’t need it anymore. Give it an opry performance here and there and call it good. Loving pretty much everything im hearing and seeing from night 1 overall though!

Honestly being at the show, and a HUGE fan of VH and PC, I have to admit the show really flowed well. I think she can't cut some of the old songs because casuals come to the concert and expect to hear the hits. The people behind and in front of me had never seen her live before. It's such an awesome show, maybe my favorite so far and I've been to every tour multiple times since Some Hearts. I guess the next singles will be Burn, CA or SDK. I personally think Burn and CA, but who knows. Seems like HMH took VH place, but that could just be my weird theory.
