Promising setlist. There’s no reason for Velvet Heartbreak and Pink Champagne not to be in there though. Velvet Heartbreak or Poor everybody else should have opened the show. I love Flat on the floor, but it shouldn’t have been in there over those two new ones.

It's odd so little from the Cry Pretty era. Did Carrie/her team think that era should be forgotten due to the singles' performances? If so I imagine no song from D&R will be played next tour Also, Carrie, why did you cut Blown Away but not Flat on the Floor? oh my None of the Cry Pretty singles really connected with the general public, so it’s not surprising. She just kept Cry Pretty cause she likes the song. She did the same with Storyteller last tour, only keeping Church Bells, while cutting Heartbeat, Smoke Break, and Dirty Laundry, which all connected miles better than the CP singles. I imagine if we get a good connecting song this era, maybe Burn or Hate My Heart, that she’ll carry one over to the next tour too.

I agree, but she does keep a lot of her old catalog that many fans are ready to leave (CC, UI) but I understand why. Though I think I hope she would consider adding something like Smoke Break or a song from D&R/CP to a new long-lasting rotation and removing one or two of the 2000s eras songs

Was hoping Dirty Laundry would make the cut too since it’s one of her more bigger recent songs. Was also kind of hoping we’d get another old song medley. I’d have loved a medley with So Small, Don’t forget to remember me, and Someday when I stop loving you.

I know I'm preaching to the choir, but Carrie does it like nobody else. Very few to no artists are playing drums, doing aerials, singing challenging songs, etc. She will get passed over for EOTY again, and it will still be ridiculous.
"Cry Pretty" is terrific live, whether or not it was a huge hit. I also think it's known enough that casuals would like having it in there.
I, too, love "Flat on the Floor," but why not give a different album track favorite a highlight this tour?
Considering the sort of 80s theme and "Undo It" being a setlist staple, this would have been a good tour to do the "Undo It/Walk This Way" medley to at least give that song something different for the tour.

Alright now tell me why "Pink Champagne" which most of us love, is delegated to an interlude? Didn't she say it was her favorite or she knew it was other's favorite?

Excluding Faster and Pink Champange from the setlist is probably the biggest crime of the year and biggest mistake in her career. Is she trying to prank her fans 🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃
And instead she chose to do UI, FOTF, LN, and IIDLY . She even tricked us into thinking PC was gonna open the show.
On the bright side, she was on FIRRREEEEEEEEEEE. The show looked like a sold out to me.

IIDLY is technically one of her biggest hits, and by far her biggest country radio hit in ten years, there’s no way she was omitting that one.
D&R is also a given as it’s the namesake of the album and tour, and makes for a great moment with Jimmy, so no issues there.
FOTF remains shocking, it was never a single and consistently lives on through her tours, even though literally no fans ask for it. She clearly just loves doing it live, but to take a spot over PC/VH absolutely blows my mind! I’d be more content, maybe, if at least the slot was taken by an actual hit, if not something new… but I still can’t wrap my head around the logic of leaving those two out in favor of 15 year-old album tracks…
I’m sure there will be changes here and there as the tour progresses, and overall the setlist is FIRE! There’s always going to be things to pick at when there’s ~30 hits to sort through in addition to a new album, but regardless she has become one of country music’s top entertainers and I’m elated by all the clips and pics. Can’t wait to read some reviews!

Someday, someone needs to ask her why she likes to put songs on albums that she doesn't like to perform at all. lol

youtu.be/NPz6aXUrKCU2:36 is literally the best I've heard her belt a sustained high E-flat in well over a decade. For point of reference, it's the same note she holds out at the bridges of both "So Small" and "Low" as well as at the end of HGTA ('howwwww GREAAAAAAAAT') ... but her throat was so open on this attempt, and the pitch was perfectly centered even with the rolling vibrato coming in strong right at the start of the note. & of course that trill down from it within the same breath made it just that much more impressive. I'll admit, I wasn't expecting that. 😲

Even though it pains me Velvet Heartbreak was left off the setlist I am through the roof Garden made the cut. Velvet has had a handful of performances so far, one of them being a high quality tv performance, so I’m happy I’ll get to rewatch those, but for Garden, I already made up in my mind I’d probably never see her do it live, which hurt cause it’s on of my top 3 from the album, but she did it, and if the video I’m seeing is correct she looks like she was playing the guitar for it on the B Stage.

Trying to read as little as possible from this last page. Seeing some of it though has made it hit me. I can’t believe after two failed attempts (had the money both times too lmao), I’m finally seeing this woman live TOMORROW. And I can’t believe I’m blessed with the timing—her vocals at the best they’ve ever been nearly 20 years in, her entertainment status at its highest, her production value at its most grandiose. Tomorrow night’s not gonna feel real I fear…damn sure gonna lose my voice lol
Trust and believe a review will be coming afterwards.

Finally seeing her after being such a fan for so long is such an experience. Takes me back to when I first saw on the Storyteller tour after adoring her for so long.

Like I've said I've been to every tour several times and this is probably her best yet. Storyteller - D&R tours are amazing, and this takes it up a notch.

So this is how things shake out in terms of how many songs per album… it’s a pretty sensible spread throughout her discography based on the hits.
Some Hearts: 3 (JTTW, Wasted, BHC)
Carnival Ride: 2 (FOTF, LN)
Play On: 2 (CC, UI)
Blown Away: 3 (GG, BA, TBC)
Greatest Hits: 1 (SITW)
Storyteller: 1 (CB)
Cry Pretty: 1 (CP)
My Savior: 1 (HGTA)
Denim & Rhinestones: 8 (D&R, GS, HMH, Burn, CA, PEE, SDK, Garden)
Covers/Collabs: 2 (IIDLY, WTTJ)

Not a big fan of Carrie but when was the last time she sang All American Girl? That seemed like a big hit back in the day.

Let's talk about the setlist.
I am NOT here for the AAG omission. One of her best, and biggest, hits. I get that they're going for an 80's rock theme, but...
Songs to be cut: FOTF (previously discussed), LN (I still don't get the love for this song...I guess I understand why it was so prominent in Vegas but if I never heard it again I wouldn't miss it), UI, GG or TBC (surprised she has kept both of these in for every tour since BA actually...I don't remember either of these songs being huge hits for her?), and...HGTA (religious/Christian music just isn't my cup of tea, and this song has overstayed its welcome IMO. I want JJTW to stand on its own again).
Songs to be added: AAG (previously mentioned), if they're going for an 80's rock theme I would have loved for her to put Alone (from Idol) on her setlist for this tour, maybe a medley of some sort of the cut songs (LN, UI and GG perhaps? I'm a fan of medleys generally speaking so I wish she would have them on her sets more often for more variety), VH and/or PC (I get that some songs off D&R had to be cut, but I'm surprised they cut these two out of all of them).
Overall, the setlist is...fine. Nothing really surprising, but honestly I think that's kind of the issue. I get that a lot of casuals go to Carrie concerts but it would be nice for us hardcore fans if she would switch up some of the hits on the setlist every tour.

Fans sang all the hits the entire show. Greenville was insanely loud. It was an awesome show, and its understandable why she'd play her hits for that reason. Eight from the new album is a pretty good number. I get some are bummed their fave didn't make the list.

Honestly I’d cut GG before I’d cut TBC. TBC is so innovative. Flat on the floor should go. Preferably in favor of Velvet Heartbreak or Pink Champagne, but if she wants another hit in there idk why it’s in there over AAG, since I think that was arguably the biggest hit of that era. She still does AAG at her residency, but she needs to bring it back to tour, she left it out of last tour too.
