Seeing Mike Elizondo win a Grammy reminds me of how badly I need her to work with him again. Gave us “Cowboy Casanova” AND “Chaser” like the Good Samaritan he is. Ughh I still remember when CC first came out. I don’t think I have ever been so addicted and drawn to a song before. Everything about it was (and still is) absolutely perfect!! It sounded like nothing else on radio and was just so unique

Love that it’s such a mainstay in her catalog.

Will forever be thankful for Elizondo for “Chaser.” That song gave me a brand new vibe I’ve never gotten from her. I know of another Elizondo co write titled “Microphone” that I’m still curious about to this day.

Still do not understand what her label was thinking by choosing not to release ‘Chaser’. It could’ve really propelled the Storyteller era, not that it wasn’t successful already.

In an alternate universe Carrie is well on her way to four dozen Grammys on the power of smash singles to include “Low”, “Wine After Whiskey”, “Chaser”, “Someday When I Stop Loving You”, “What Can I Say?”, “The Night Before (Life Goes On)”, etc… in addition to the hits she’s had in our universe, of course. Seriously though, considering all the fan-decided missed opportunities, Carrie’s record is all the more impressive.

I saw Carrie in Miami and I'm still in awe. Her voice was on point - sounding very full and rich. I actually think its her best tour, surpassing the Cry Pretty 360 tour.

Carrie is doing a “day in the life in tour” on her social media today, she’s posting little bits of her day ….
First, she’s makeup-less in the first couple of clips and you can really make out her facial injuries from her accident. I mention this just to say that I’m happy Carrie is happy with herself, you can tell it’s something she probably struggles with. Also, it’s definitely apparent enough to require maintenance, so I’m sure that’s frustrating to say the least. She looks beautiful and I love when she opens herself up to us.
Second, I think this random social media episode could be indicative of some sort of streaming release. Documentaries are all the rage these days, it’d be cool to have a documentary style show … whether its centered around the show, or more in depth Carrie, who knows, but I could totally see something like this happening. Or, just a general concert release on a streaming service. I was 100% convinced last time we were getting a CP360 show release, but it never happened. So I won’t really believe it until I see it, but I could totally see this little social media thing as part of a bigger “assignment” for some sort of release later on.

That was immediately my thought as well 🤣 I consume more calories for breakfast than she does in 2 days. Granted, we have very different nutrition and fitness goals, I'm sure 😅 good to see how well she takes care of herself.

I have no idea how she survives either!

Saturday will be the 11th live show for me!
A run through for fun…
“Some Hearts” - Last show of her first tour at the BIG E in Springfield, MA. October, 2006. (1)
“Carnival Ride” - Opening Night of the Carrie & Keith tour at Mohegan Sun, CT, 1/31/2008. (1)
“Play On” - Bridgeport CT stop of the Play On Tour, also the first and only time I’ve met her - on 3/16/2010! Then I went to the Hard Rock Cafe Macy’s Thanksgiving taping in NYC, 11/19/2010. (2)
“Blown Away” - Blown Away Tour in Hartford CT, 11/10/2012. (1)
“Storyteller” - Storyteller Tour-Stories In the Round; TD Garden Boston show the first leg (2/23/2016) and Madison Square Garden NYC show (filmed for release 10/25/2016). (2)
“Cry Pretty” - CP360 at Madison Square Garden NYC, 10/2/2019. Also saw her Foxwoods Casino show in Ledyard, CT 10/9/2019 (2)
Reflection Residency, Vegas - 12/5/2021. (1)
“Denim & Rhinestones” - D&R Tour, upcoming Saturday at Mohegan Sun, CT, 2/11/2023. (1)
I know there are some fans with like 40+ shows, which blows my mind. Even if I could afford that it just seems intense lol… so I’m proud of 11 live shows across 18 years, I’ve been blessed to have seen Carrie live at all, and especially lucky and blessed to have met her!

I’ll be seeing Carrie for the second time on Wednesday (first time was Cry Pretty Tour). Something interesting happened just now, I was checking my email and saw an email from ups (package delivered) I verified and made sure it wasn’t junk email and then went to check my front door (I wasn’t expecting anything) and there was a package from Austin, TX. Long story short I bought a vip ticket and they sent the accoutrements that came with the seat (I wasn’t expecting this, I just wanted a good seat without going broke, there was even a card for 2 months free trial for fit52).

I've seen her twice, once on the Play On tour and once on the Storyteller tour.

Are we counting Opry / Fan Club Party appearances in this tally? If so, I don’t even know where to begin. I’ve seen all of the headlining tours starting with the Play On Tour. I’ve experienced REFLECTION once and I need to go back for the next round of shows - honestly mandatory viewing for any Carrie Underwood fan. “It’s ART.” - 14887fan
Track 7:
01. “Before He Cheats” 02. “I Know You Won’t” 03. “Drinking Alone” 04. “Faster” 05. “Like I'll Never Love You Again” 06. “Songs Like This” 07. “Nobody Ever Told You”
Track 8:
01. “Chaser” 02. “Last Name” 03. “Starts with Goodbye” 04. “Pink Champagne” 05. “Temporary Home” - flashback to finding the actress in the music video and messaging her about any intel on the video. A wild time in my life. 06. “The Bullet” 07. “One Way Ticket”

I basically consider any occasion with a full show to count… if strictly concert tours without Vegas then my tally is 8 after Saturday.

Tonight's show will be my 40th something 🤭 But the friends I'm going with have actually seen her double the amount of times I have (and we'll be meeting up with other friends who have even seen her double the amount of times they have 😂 ). But I haven't been to any shows since before the pandemic so it's gonna feel like learning to ride a bicycle all over again 😛 8s: 1. One Way Ticket 2. The Bullet 3. Temporary Home 4. Starts With Goodbye 5. Last Name 6. Chaser 7. Pink Champagne

She is next level. Another fantastic show.
Vocals on point, looks on point, acrobatics on point. She is the ultimate entertainer.
Standout moment was “Welcome to the Jungle”… encore opener for the ages! I hope she gets to do that on TV someday, it’ll make for a moment for sure!
Absolutely floored, once again. So well done, start to finish.
Also, as much flack as FOTF gets as a mainstay concert number among die-hards, it absolutely resonates with the crowd… Some of the loudest cheers were for FOTF. I personally would’ve preferred a D&R song in that spot, but it definitely worked as is.
Oh, and I updated my list a few posts back because I totally forgot the Foxwoods show I went to in 2019!
