If we have to end the streak of 31* (Mediabase) consecutive Top 10 singles to get OOTT, so be it. She proved herself with that number anyway. Now for a real HIT to impact the airwaves!

Is HMH testing poorly? I remember early on it seemed to be doing alright. Haven’t heard much on it lately
I do really like OOTT but at this point i don’t really know what can be a hit for her and what won’t any more. Short of releasing something with another male singer of course

They haven't even pushed it yet. Selfishly I'd push HMH to top ten then move on, but I'm fine with whatever Carrie and her team decide to do. I love OOTT.

It would be pretty huge if they gave up on it. It’s not even close to the ballpark of her lowest peaking singles yet it would stick out so much in her discography.

Can’t wait for the show tomorrow night! Excited to be going to her tour finale.
I’m not certain international dates are coming, to be totally honest. At least, not yet. After this, her focus is on Vegas, followed by a string of festival dates. She was just confirmed as a headliner for a Napa Valley event in mid-July, in support of music education.

It would be pretty huge if they gave up on it. It’s not even close to the ballpark of her lowest peaking singles yet it would stick out so much in her discography. Even as a huge fan, while having a long streak of top 10 radio hits is very impressive, I think the benefits of getting another decent-sized hit outweigh the negatives of pushing a song that isn’t connecting to prevent breaking the streak. While people on this board might care/discuss it, 99.999% of audiences won’t have any idea, and would probably just care that Carrie has a song out that they like better than her last single 🤷🏽♂️ Granted, I say all this without much chart knowledge about how “Hate My Heart” is actually fairing. I know her contemporaries like Maren and Miranda faired much worse with their previous singles, but I continue to see posters mention it not charting on the country chart that includes streaming is not a good sign for it's overall impact potential, which makes sense. It did seem to get to it’s current position at a fast enough rate for a female on country radio, but it’s just stalled there for so many weeks now. Interested to see what her label does from here.

Caring too much about the streak and refusing to move on to a better single was pretty much how Ghost Story killed this era's momentum.
That said though, if they are going to move on to another single but can't be bothered doing much to help make it a hit, then it's absolutely pointless as well.

Pull HMH. Best case senecio is is peaks somewhere in the top 5 or 10. It's clear radio won't let it go all the way to #1 since it's not selling/streaming. If they didn't let GS they won't let HMH cause at least GS had the callouts to back it up.
Out of that truck is great playlisting. It's even included in the Amazon Country Playlist, which is the third largest, only behind Apple Music and Spotify. On top of that she is the cover of the Apple Music Country Playlist this week with OOTT sitting at #1. Hate My Heart was removed from that playlist last week. Let's go team Carrie. Be receptive of this hit that is waiting to happen. I don't want to see them hold onto HMH till they randomly feel like dropping it like they did with LW.

It did seem to get to it’s current position at a fast enough rate for a female on country radio, but it’s just stalled there for so many weeks now. Interested to see what her label does from here. To sum up how HMH is doing. It had a very strong start at radio and showed all signs of becoming a hit, but lacked the consumer interest it needed. It hasn't even debuted on the Hot Country Songs Chart top 50, which means it is selling and streaming poorly. It doesn't have amazing callouts either; so once it hit around #23 about a month or so ago it completely stalled out. It doesn't help the logjam at the top of the charts, but HMH isn't doing itself any favors by selling/streaming. I do think it probably could go top 10, but they would literally need to push it another 3-4 more months for that, and that might squander OOTT's hit potential since it's already connecting now.

I hope we at least get a music video out of "Out of That Truck" (and not like some of her recent ones).

Kelleigh says I know you're not done with Denim and Rhinestones, but lets discuss your new song... In the Apple Music Today's Country Interview with Kelleigh Bannen Carrie says "I'm always working on somthing, the creativity process never really stops. This is a song that we wrote, that I love, It's just a fun jam. It is my birthday, even though we don't speak of that. But I can do whatever I want, so, why not?! Why not give a present. It's not all about taking all the time. Sometimes it's fun to just surprise people and do things just because. So, I can, and I did."
I still think this is for something more than just a surprise song since it's getting so much promo. I do think she released it on her birthday because she wanted to, but I think more is coming. Whether it be an EP or a Deluxe of D&R.

Yeah, she crushed last night. Her stage presence is on another level. I’ll carry a grudge forever about omitting Pink Champagne, but that show was pure energy from start to finish. Production was 11/10. She is a vocal machine.
She and GNR need to do the Halftime Show. I think that could be a seriously successful joint venture.

This tour was so special. It was clear from the start it was all about having fun… she put the show of a lifetime together. I’m sad to see it end, but so proud to see how well received it was. Carrie has achieved the ultimate goal of being a touring artist. There are only a handful of artists who can maintain a headline touring career, and even fewer females. I wonder if this marks the end of the era, or if they have plans to stretch it out?… I’m sure we’ll know soon enough.
Anyway, job well done to Carrie and her team - In a perfect world she’ll receive well deserved EOTY wins from both organizations, but I’m just hoping for nominations in recognition of her continuous and successful efforts to be better than everyone else.

She kept specifying on multiple posts on her Instagram that this is the end of the tour. So that leads me to believe maybe it's the end of the era but we'll see. Wonder why she only toured the US this time.

Wonder why she only toured the US this time. Back when they were planning the tour things were just sorta opening back up to full capacity, and back in early 2022 things with the pandemic were still very iffy. I think they were being conservative with their tour planning for those reasons.

I could still see her launching a Pink Champgne brand, kinda thought we’d get that thus era ever since I saw the song title 🤷🏽♂️

1. Wine After Whiskey - Play this one all the time. Such a stunning track that could have made a strong single.
2. The Champion - Has held up. 3. Kingdom - I think this one is underrated. I feel like Carrie captured really well who she is in this song. I love the bridge. Her best album closer for me hands down (I consider it her album closer as The Champion was a bonus track).
4. Inside Your Heaven - oh the nostalgia... 5. "I Ain't in Checotah Anymore" 6. "What I Never Knew I Always Wanted"
7. Wheel of the World - zzz 8. Who Are You - zzz

Not sure why I'm feeling this way, but I'm thinking more and more that we'll only get three releases from D&R. Maybe four if they pull HMH for OOTT, then release one final single after. But, if they stick it out with HMH, they'll either stop at two or maybe go with one more. They haven't followed any predictable path so far, so I'm not even sure a third single would be Burn, which most people on this board seem to want. My remaining favorite on D&R remains SDK, but I don't see that one seeing the light of day either. This whole era has been very puzzling to me.

Saw her with Axl Rose at Stagecoach last year and this is an AMAZING IDEA. I’ve always though Carrie should be high up on the running for the half time show, but considering it’s become a very international thing, adding Guns an’ Roses would make it that and it would be amazing!!!

The reviews for this tour were especially impressive, love reading all the quotes from publications all across the country. It feels like people are really taking notice of Carrie as a bonafide entertainer, she’s been working at it for so long but she continues to impress… The HMH comment suggests they’re sticking with it, and it’s looking to me like OOTT is just a special birthday gift and not much more (despite the single treatment it’s getting — over HMH?)… Anyway, I hope they release this tour for streaming at some point, I’m still a little bummed we never got CP…. I think they need to work out a deal with a streaming service to release them all, but that’s just a dream lol.
