I know she's on a different label now, but how long after her Blown Away and Storyteller tours ended until she announced the tour DVD/stream? Still gutted she never released her CP tour on any format and I hope they don't do the same for this tour, as I couldn't make it to either tour.

Anyway I still love "Hate My Heart" (listening to it as I type), but I don't really understand this current strategy of having songs linger in certain regions for weeks on end. What is the song doing for the album or Carrie at this point? I know some of it is just how country radio works right now, but I don't get who it benefits. Particularly since there isn't even a tour to promote anymore, might as well move on to see if something sticks.

well, whether its a deluxe or just a new era, glad to hear she's busy making new music, or at least in the writing process for now. Honestly, I think considering how disappointing D&R(album, not the tour) has been from a commercial standpoint, I think they would be better off just moving on to a brand new era. One thing i worry about though, is will she want to do another tour so soon? She's been on an every 3 year pace basically, so i think the earliest we can expect another arena tour is in 2025. Which means, would they even want to release an album any time before fall 2024? That for me seems to be the earliest i can see a new album happening, although a lead single could easily come early next year with that. I do hope OOTT gets tacked on as a bonus track if that does happen if they have no plans to release it to radio. It deserves to be somewhere.
Of course... one has to wonder if another duet is on the horizon in between these eras....just wonder who would be next in line to duet with her?
Another thing i wonder...are there plans to release a greatest hits decade 2?? Not sure how it would work with the label change, and then the fact there weren't as many big hits as the first 10 years. I guess what i would like to see in place of a greatest hits 2 is to have a greatest hits live album, and give us a DVD to go with that! That sounds way more appealing to me. Could be 2 or 3 cd + dvd type set. That would be amazing!

Cigarette in RR, wine in DL, whiskey in CB, red wine in Heartbeat, Smoke Break (self-explanatory lol), cigarettes and wine in LINLYA, 100 proof in Chaser, one or two little sips in Relapse, spilled wine in Clock Don’t Stop, Don Julio in Mexico…for some examples! lol |

I hope we get a D&R deluxe and launch a new single around the release of it. I at least want this album to make it to gold and that would help. I’d love a new era, but I feel like she’s been on the go a lot and kinda want her to take a break to relax and brainstorm what might be done differently next era.

While I'm here for strong country duets (”Remind Me”, ”If I Didn’t Love You”), a pop duet could really be huge for her and something different. I will forever be here for a Carrie Underwood x Kelly Clarkson duet. I know their fan bases have had some...beef...historically but that doesn't mean a duet can't happen between them.

The Champion 🏆 Yes I thought of this and it was definitely a decent sized hit for her. I guess what I'm thinking of is a duet with a decently relevant pop artist haha Kelly and Pink would fit the bill as others have mentioned, although Id probably prefer different ones as these seem like such obvious fits. I'm sure a Carrie/Kelly duet will happen at some point in their careers. I can see a pink duet happening as well. |

Lets calm down at least a little, sounds like the duet was JUST recorded recently, so its likely still months away from being released. We don’t know Cody’s timeline for releasing anything new right now. Did he say when his new album will be coming out? It could be next year still for all we know. How do we know it will even be a single? (I assume it will be, just putting that question out there to ponder…)
I gotta say i am excited though, i don’t think i had Cody Johnson on my CU duet bingo card, as i thought her next partner would be someone like Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett, or maybe even Chris Stapleton. Cody is a very respectable vocalist to be doing a song with, even if i don’t think he is an at an A list level, unless you are in Texas. Honestly though i think i prefer him to those other 3 i just mentioned. She can sing with anyone, but i think they will sound amazing together!

I just hope they give BURN (and Faster but I know theres no chance at all for Faster) a chance before closing the D&R era. I’m thinking they might end the era after HMH .
D&R tour seem to have fewer stops compared to her previous Tours,
