She is so in her element lately.
She’s always been amazing but something feels heightened as of late. Incredible 17 years into her career.
So excited to hear Denim & Rhinestones this weekend. I’m going to cherish the first listening experience.

^^i’ll have to listen to the studio version before saying a whole lot, but upon hearing her do it live im not sure i loved her sing the word “burn” 3 times in a row like she did. Maybe its just the way she did it just tonight, so i wont say anything more til at least tomorrow after hearing the official version. And its just that part of the song too, the rest sounded great!
So i think the only new songs she didn’t sing tonight were….faster, wanted woman, PEE, & garden. I wonder how she decided which ones to leave out🤷♂️

This album tho. Wow. Absolute fire through and through. This is it. This is the album of bops I always wanted! She wasn’t kidding when she “fun”… it’s a literal country - dance record. In love with this! I wouldn’t be upset with any of these songs as singles. I’m sure I’ll have favorites, but on first listen these all sound like singles to me!!
“Poor Everybody Else” is the sleeper megahit of this album. Calling it now. If that gets a release, watch out. It’s super heavy, but damn good!

It’s the album of her career. Pure pop-country bliss from start to finish. It’s emotional, playful, shiny, witty, and just beaming with life. There are so many melodic moments / lyrics already burned into my brain. 💜💎

Probably her most instantly clicking album for me. My favorite is “Burn” by a whole country mile. It’s the kind of song she needs to release, IMO.

While Cry Pretty served as a statement of what she was going through at the time, it was relevant and spoke to her more on a personal level. This album, from beginning to end, is who Carrie Underwood is as an artist. The lyrics, the vocals, the production, just everything is Carrie Underwood. Great job to her and her team. This album is magnificent.

Burn, Crazy Angels, and Velvet Heartbreak will probably be singles… but omg, Faster is so so beautiful. This is a song I feel would be in a romance show or movie and go viral. I love it.

Definitely a no skips album. Vocally, she sounds fantastic and there are melodies and hooks for days! Storyteller, my favorite til now, had stronger country elements in its sound but this pop-country hybrid is right up my alley so I’m sure it’ll get a lot of play from me this year. Very curious to see what singles they end up going with.

This is simply fantastic. It might be Carrie's best album all around. I'm just done with my first listen and still trying to decide on favorites. It's such a perfect fusion of country and pop sprinkled with rock and dance and all these melodic hooky elements, in general, that make for a killer, no-skips listen. Needless to say, her voice is in tip top shape, too, perfectly showcased here. I'll be listening to this album a lot, heck it's already my favorite of 2022 so far probably.
She really is the best, most consistent of all the American Idols, isn't she? Whew! What a talent.
