Don’t say that we don’t know what this era holds. Would really help if they did a deluxe edition in the late fall with IIDLY tacked on as one of the new songs.

Also, I have a really bad feeling that Velvet Heartbreak (my baby) will be the single that got away, and will remain an album track.

This album really hits. It doesn’t matter how it fared commercially. It’s incredible top to bottom. I’m so proud of her.

Unpopular opinion maybe? I don't like the whole release a deluxe edition months later thing a lot of artists have been doing and I hope Carrie doesn't do it. It just seems like a cash grab to me. I am sure Carrie's tour will make enough money to not need to do that.

I’m scared too for VH, but I thought the same exact thing for DL and then it got released as single #4. So you never know! I am hoping Pink Champagne will be more of a promo song and never actually released as a single. I don’t mind it but I just love VH, Burn, and CA so much more, and I wouldn’t want any other song taking their place as a single lol

I really feel like the odd one out because "Burn" remains my least favorite song from the album. I definitely think "Pink Champagne" should be the second single. It would make sense given they released a lyric video for it.

Meanwhile, “Burn” has already been in the highest rotation in my mind than *any* other song of hers. I simply can’t get it out of my head; tbh I don’t want to. I just can’t get enough of it. It’s an absolute must as a single and I want to hear it when I see her live.

 I'd actually say that your opinion is the popular one, and one I normally agree with. The only reason I think it'd be smart is because then the strong/consistent streams from If I Didn't Love You, would help move the album to gold/platinum as the years go by, since I think that song will be a good streamer for many years to come, and would love for Carrie to benefit from it. 

Carrie certainly doesn't need the money, mama has enough coin to do whatever she wants for the rest of her life. It'd just be beneficial in moving her album forward.

After sitting with the album I think Pink Champagne should be single number 2 for sure. Crazy Angels is catchy, but I think it's a bit too cheesy imo. It reminds me a lot of Some Hearts era songs just not as good.

Strangely, I can't seem to remember Burn's melody much. It somehow never gets stuck in my mind even though I have listened to it so many times now.

Burn needs to be a single at some point, whether it’s #2 or #3. My only problem with PC going next is that by the time GS peaks, it will probably be late summer/early fall and this song screams summer to me.
Burn would be a nice fall/winter song.

This is incredible. No one does it like her! She is a living Country Music Legend!!! I think we better just get ready. This album has so many bops, it should have legs on radio for a couple years really!! I can’t wait to see what other MILESTONES this era has in store for us.

I don't think she'll stop releasing music any time soon. It's also important to note that if Wallen wasn't having his abnormal reign at #1 she would have went #1 with this.

I have so much hope for this era. I've always wanted to see her get her 30th #1, and there is a good chance that could happen this era.

I think they made the right call with Ghost Story as the lead. The lead single can be a bit of a double edged sword, and for Carrie in particularly it's common for the biggest/iconic hits to be saved for later in the era (BHC, AAG and LN, BA and TBC, CB). The next couple of weeks are when female songs tend to stall on Country radio but if Ghost Story can survive that it's going to be her biggest solo hit on a long while, and will perfectly set up the slam dunks that are Crazy Angels and Pink Champagne.

But to be honest, its hard for me to rank them because they all are so good. She gives me an album i can enjoy start to finish. Vocal On Point, Production On Point (except Poor Everybody Else, which i find a bit too loud), Music On Point, Lyric On Point.

They should’ve released Crazy Angels as lead single because after My Savior, Crazy Angels sound like the right follow up. She’s an angel (from My Savior theme), but she’s a little bit crazy and just wants to have fun sometimes (in this case, with this album, the theme is ‘just having fun’).
