Well since everybody else is doing it I guess I'll do my ranking too.
1. Pink Champagne 2. Poor Everybody Else 3. Denim & Rhinestones 4. Crazy Angels 5. Velvet Heartbreak 6. She Don't Know 7. Hate My Heart 8. Wanted Woman 9. Ghost Story 10. Faster 11. Garden 12. Burn
I pretty much love all of them except "Burn" for some reason. I just can't get into the song like others seem to be able to.

I should be jailed for how much I just listen to Hate My Heart and Burn back-to-back over and over again.
Burn is my #1 and has been since release.
My only skip now is Garden.
Faster has been my grower. Even being professional single and jaded. : P

I must listen to this album everyday & all the songs get stuck in my head! I love how relaxed & fun this album is combined with the versatile genres of pop, dance, rock & country-just wow! She's releasing 2 superfan cd versions on her website along with the regular cd, vinyl & signed box set editions of both the cd & vinyl. So she's clearly going all-out for this album as she should! Also the lyric booklet is gorgeous!
Burn is my fave then D&R but all songs are top-notch & it's one of her rare albums I can listen to entirely.
My Gift special edition then this & my savior are my top 3 albums.
Thank you Carrie for D&R!

My personal ranking:
1. She Don't Know 2. Faster 3. Burn 4. Pink Champagne 5. Denim & Rhinestones 6. Ghost Story 7. Crazy Angels 8. Hate My Heart 9. Wanted Woman 10. Garden 11. Velvet Heartbreak 12. Poor Everybody Else
I probably would've ranked Pink Champagne a little lower a few days ago, but I've been listening to it more since she performed it on Fallon.

Is there going to be a rankdown for the album? Almost certainly. It might be a little from now to let people sit with the album more.

TOP: Storyteller / D&R MID: Carnival Ride / Blown Away / Cry Pretty BOTTOM: Some Hearts / Play On
Ranking Blown Away is tough because there’s no in-between on that album. So many career bests and then just straight up filler in the middle.

My Album Rank:
Cry Pretty Some Hearts Denim & Rhinestones Carnival Ride Blown Away Storyteller Play On
CP - 1 skip; “Southbound”, but two of my all-time favorite Carrie songs; “Cry Pretty” and “Low” make this her #1 album for me.
SH - 0 skips, but no top-5 all time personal favorites, “Wasted” and JTTW are top ten, though!
D&R - Hard to tell but not likely to have any skips on this album. Usually by now I’ve sorted out what I like and I don’t, but there’s nothing not to like on this album. Could sneak into the #2 spot!
CR - 2 skips; “Get Out of This Town”, and “Twisted”.
ST - 2 skips; “Renegade Runaway”, and “Clock Don’t Stop”. CR ranks above ST because ST does not hold any songs in my top 10 list, CR holds two spots; “Just A Dream” and “So Small”
BA - 3 skips; “Nobody Ever Told You”, “Thank God For Hometowns”, and “Who Are You”.
PO - 4 skips; “Quitter”, “Mama’s Song, “Undo It”, and “Play On”.
Top 10 Songs
“Cry Pretty” “Something in the Water” “Low” “Look At Me” “Just A Dream” “Wasted” “See You Again” “Blown Away” “Jesus Take the Wheel” “So Small”
Honorable mentions; “Whine After Whiskey”, “I Told You So”, “Starts With Goodbye”, “Temporary Home”, “Good in Goodbye”, “Ghosts on the Stereo”, “That Song That We Used to Make Love to”, “Don’t Forget to Remember Me”, Choctaw County Affair”, “All-American Girl”, “Drinking Alone”, “Church Bells”, “Relapse”, “Chaser”, “Do You Think About Me”, “I Know You Won’t”, “You Won’t Find This”, “Some Hearts”, “Lessons Learned”, “I Just Can’t Live a Lie”, “Whenever You Remember”, “I Ain’t in Checotah Anymore”.
My D&R Top 10 challengers:
“Pink Champagne” “Faster” “Velvet Heartbreak” “Garden”

I tend to value higher highs over consistency so even if an album has fewer skips to me it might be lower if the other songs are just that good.
Some Hearts (2 skips: I Ain't in Checotah, We're Young and Beautiful) Nostalgia plays a factor here admittedly.
Cry Pretty (2 skips: Ghosts on the Stereo, Southbound) I probably think this album is technically better than Some Hearts but nostalgia. Also this album proves to me she can still make music I'm interested in.
Carnival Ride (2 skips: Last Name, Wheel of the World) Her most consistent album IMO. Even the skips aren't awful awful, I prefer Last Name live to the studio version which I dislike the production on.
Blown Away (5 skips: Thank God for Hometowns, Nobody Ever Told You, Leave Love Alone, One Way Ticket, Cupid's Got a Shotgun) This has higher highs than Play On even though there are more skips.
Play On (4 skips: Change, Songs Like This, Mama's Song, Unapologize). Y'all sleep on this album I swear. Cowboy Casanova remains one of her best singles. SWISLY and WCIS are hits that never were. UI and Quitter are jams despite how dumb the lyrics are.
Denim & Rhinestones (0 skips) I really want to get into this album but I'm having a hard time with it. While I don't have any skips yet, nothing has grabbed my attention and I find myself just kinda bored throughout the album. I tend to prefer sadder music cause I like to listen when I'm depressed so maybe I'm just too depressed to get into this right now.
Storyteller (9 skips: everything but Chaser, Relapse, Church Bells, and Heartbeat). This album only has 4 songs. Don't @ me.
My Gift/My Savior: Not really my thing, but don't want to get into religion on this forum. Individual songs like JTTW or SITW are one thing but I wasn't one of the fans asking for Christian/gospel music from her. Just a personal preference. Favorite Time of Year is a Christmas jam though!

Right now I would say my album rankings are 1. Storyteller/Denim and Rhinestones- Storyteller has only one skip for me (Clock Don’t Stop) and right now Denim and Rhinestones has no skips for me.
2. Play On- for me it only has two skips on there (Change and Play On) and Cowboy Casanova will always be that jam for me! That song just slaps!
3. Blown Away- does have many songs that if I’m not in the mood I will skip
4. Some Hearts- love all these songs and it’s amazing to listen to it and see how far she’s come!
5. Carnival Ride- years ago when I was younger I would probably have put this higher due to some of the content in the songs and being like boys bye lol
6. Cry Pretty- I love most of the songs but it just sounds so all over the place which is fine be experimental but sometimes it’s like musical whiplash for me with some of the production and instruments they chose. Also I can rarely handle listening to Spinning Bottles and The Bullet it’s too emotional for me
I love My Savior but I’ve got to be feeling the mood for Gospel Music and I only listen to My Gift at Christmas lol!

Okay so I feel like I am different from a lot of people in the sense that I don't skip songs on albums even if I don't like them. I always listen to albums the whole way through every time I listen to them. Anyway, here's my album rankings that nobody asked for lol.
1. 'Cry Pretty' 2. 'Denim & Rhinestones' 3. 'Blown Away' 4. 'Some Hearts' 5. 'Carnival Ride' 6. 'Storyteller' 7. 'My Gift' 8. 'Play On' 9. 'My Savior'
I'm not religious and so 'My Gift' and 'My Savior' are not particularly my thing however I love her voice on both albums.

I can’t wait til we do a rankdown for this, although its gonna be incredibly difficult so im glad we aren’t doing it right away. I already see some shifting going on with myself and these songs from where i was on the first full weekend with them.
I started thinking about how i would rank the albums with D&R included and i just find it really hard to do. Each album from to Some Hearts to D&R are all representing a period of time in which at those times those albums were either my current favorite album by anyone, or really close to it at least. We are not in 2005, 2007, 2009, 2012, 2015, or 2018 anymore so i just have hard time with putting any of these albums up against each other. Even though i have attempted to do it in the past. Maybe it will be easier when she’s more on the retired side, idk. I don’t even want to think about that right now. I just want to be in this moment in time with this new album, and enjoy the ride with it!

Carrie Underwood Says Her Vegas Residency Gave Her Confidence For The Denim & Rhinestones Tour“I think everything that I do I learn from along the way and get to add certain things to my, you know, my bank. You learn what works in different areas and what doesn’t work in other areas. And I feel like our Las Vegas residency Reflection has definitely taught me a lot. I feel like it helped a lot in the confidence department, in my confidence department, because we got to put together just this incredible show. You know, it wasn’t necessarily just a concert, it was a show and I love that. I feel like there’s so many elements of that that I’m gonna take with me as we plan and ultimately take the ‘Denim and Rhinestones Tour’ out on the road. So, I’m excited to see what we do with everything that we’ve learned, and I think it only makes me a better performer and artist. So, it’s gonna be good.”

In the spirit of ranking, which 5 of Carrie’s singles would you say have been the most radio-friendly? And which 5 would you say are the least radio-friendly? 10 if you’re feeling up to it!
I was just listening to Crazy Angels and thinking it sounds like it’s absolutely meant for radio, and it got me thinking about all her singles and how meant-for-radio some of the other singles sounded. Or how not-made-for-radio some of them were lol

I'm aware there's a few months left in the eligibility period but who do y'all think is her biggest competition in Best Country Album for next year's Grammys besides Miranda? I love both records but I'm more fond of Carrie's at the moment.
I know Luke Combs is a sales juggernaut but he hasn't been nominated much in the past.

Not really interested in ranking that, but the Cry Pretty singles (minus Southbound) are clearly the least radio friendly singles of her career. The title track was too Aerosmith for Country radio and the lyrics were unapologetically feminine, “Love Wins” was too dated at the time of release, and “Drinking Alone” sounded completely out of place at radio.
But I’m glad “Cry Pretty” & “Drinking Alone” are a part of her singles discography, so whatever. Those are great songs. “Love Wins” isn’t a great song, but it makes for an impassioned live performance. Honestly one of my favorite performances from REFLECTION.
