"Faster" has had me in my feelings for the past couple of days. Is it because, at this moment in time in my life, these lyrics apply to me 💯? Is it because of that wistful, authentically 80's prom song vibe? Is it because of that tugging-at-your-hearstrings vocal Carrie gives it? I don't know. What I do know is that it's dangerously starting to rival "Heartbeat" as my favorite Ms Carrie Underwood ballad and that I would love (even though I don't expect it to) if it became a single somewhere down the line. What a gorgeous song. A definite highlight on an album packed with highlights. ❤️

Guns N’ Roses surprised the crowd at their show tonight in London, bringing Carrie out to sing “Sweet Child O’ Mine”! She just doesn’t stop! Are their mics even on?? Probably has to do with the angle from which the video is taken, behind the speakers. Videos taken from the audience and not from side-stage will probably sound a lot better. |

Never posted on the forum before, but wanted to say that I’m a very proud Carrie fan. Denim and Rhinestones is an amazing album 💜💜💜💜
Also, I cannot wait for the tour. Can’t wait to see what she pulls out for this tour :)

I love 'Burn' ... more so than I initially did. However, I think deep down if it were released as a single it would do quite poorly.
If the aim is radio success, I am starting to feel the next logical single release would easily be 'Crazy Angels' or 'Hate My Heart'.
ALSO for my Spotify Canada users.. did y'all notice 'Pink Champagne' is on a lot of pop playlists? I found it odd because there was even one where Carrie was on the cover of it and 'Pink Champagne' was the number one listed track. Almost as weird as the day I was listening to HAC/Pop radio in Kingston Ontario and 'What I Never Knew I Always Wanted' use to always play.

It’s definitely been interesting with the varying single/performance choices this era so far: We got Pink Champagne on Fallon, D&R and PC were apparently both released as singles in Australia already (or at least charting on the country singles chart there right now), Carrie did Velvet Heartbreak, Burn, and Garden on that BBC program, and PC has also been promoted on her Facebook page and Spotify (plus it got that nice little lyric video on Spotify). And then of course we had Crazy Angels, D&R, and She Don’t Know as the pre-release tracks.
It seems like the only songs that haven’t really been spotlighted a whole lot yet are Poor Everybody Else (seems to be the overwhelming favorite to be on the tour though), Hate My Heart, Faster, and Wanted Woman.

I feel like Team Carrie has been pitching a CU/GnR halftime to the NFL for years. I hope it comes to fruition someday. My hopes got up when I saw the producers attended a Reflection show last year.
Anyway, sounds like a UK tour is happening next summer. She said she played it safe at the moment with the tour dates due to the state of the world but someone at the Q&A said a little birdy hinted at UK dates next summer.
She also said in an interview that she wants to film a roller skate visual for “Wanted Woman.” That would make a cute tour visual. 🛼

Ugh I just checked and she has tour dates on the Friday and Saturday before the Super Bowl (Sunday Feb 12th). And she’ll be in PA and CT, and the Super Bowl is in AZ. Idk I’m sure they rehearse during the week and day of, but I just don’t like how that schedule looks there. At least she has no concert on the day of the Super Bowl lol |

Got our tickets to Opening Night of her tour in Greenville, SC. Truly excited for it. My mom loves Carrie so much. We lost my dad recently and have all been trying to cope with losing him. I surprised my mom with the tickets and it meant the world to give her something to be excited about.

I'm new to the forum, so I'm not sure about the topics we can post about. I gave my opinions on D&R in a posted poll. But, since this is an Artist forum, I wanted to dig a little deeper. I love Carrie and her music. Let's get that out there first. And I enjoy Denim and Rhinestones very much. But...if I'm being honest, my wish is that she lean more into county instrumentation and develop her narratives a bit more. Some of D&R lacks depth to me.
I know I'm cherry picking from all of her albums, but this is the best way I can explain what I mean. Here are songs that embody her strengths in my opinion. I truly wish she would would go full on country at some point, or at least lean into these types of songs. To me, nothing on Denim and Rhinestones comes close to Church Bells or Two Black Cadillacs for example, two of my favorite storyline songs from Carrie. And, just listen to Low from Cry Pretty. It may be her best, most emotional recording ever. Just my opinions, and I of course will be full on pulling for and supporting the singles from Denim and Rhinestones, with She Don't Know, Burn and Velvet Heartbreak coming closest to Carrie's best sound to me.
