BTS needs to release something so we won't be bored anymore! You know what, I’d even welcome back BTS mass buying with open arms at this point. Heck, I wouldn’t get mad if BTS and Meg did a Butter Pie mashup/collab and spent like 8 weeks at #1.

Not many big movements this week. The biggest came for Tom's Diner with 24% but only due to having a full week of tracking this time and thankfully it's seems to have peaked already. Besides that, Cigarettes was up 6% thanks to the deluxe release of the album, Flower Shops rebounded and looks to have picked up some streaming traction by being up 16%, as did 'Til You Can't rising 14%.
In fact the biggest movement came for a song I haven't even been tracking: Wait a Minute! by WILLOW. The cult classic R&B hit that was the original reinvention of WILLOW, not transparentsoul, rocketed up 32%. I'll start tracking tomorrow since it cracked the Top 50.

With Snoop performing in Super Bowl LVI, they probably should have released it the Friday prior (2/11). It would have easily been the biggest debut of the year, and likely going for its 6th week at #1 on this chart.

The songs currently in the top 10 have stayed an average of 15 weeks but that doesn't mean you guys have to listen to those songs if you are bored.
Even though "the next big thing" has not broke through in a few weeks doesn't mean there isn't still stuff to listen to.

15( +13) Pharrell Williams - Just a Cloud Away 496,817 ( +48,381) We are literally letting anything become a hit nowadays. This is a song Pharrell made for Despicable Me 2. What happened? Why did everyone stream this song? Why not it’s a great song! Love Pharrell.

Even though "the next big thing" has not broke through in a few weeks doesn't mean there isn't still stuff to listen to. I've been doing rankdowns most of the week--I listened to a couple of great albums from LeAnn Rimes and am halfway done with some classic 90's one-hit wonders. You can also listen to some of the massive amounts of the new music released every week if you get tired of stale charts, or listen to some catalog music that you want to get to know better, maybe an artist whose discography you want to explore. There are plenty of options.

By the way, if Woman made it to the top 10 this week, its climb to the top 10 would be longer than Radioactive's. This is really just a matter of which old ass song gonna be replacing another old ass song True but it ain't Doja's fault. The track only started getting pushed 3 months ago. The rest of it's run was entirely fueled by viral popularity.

Yeah I usually don't partake in "x year was good and x year was bad", but 2019 saw the rise of the one week #1 wonders (some like "ME!" and "If I Xan't Have You" got blocked by OTR) and ever since they have trended more towards fan driven rush and stagnancy in a way that accurately refkects consumption but can be annoying to follow as a chart watcher.
