Just submitted. A couple of those songs really sounded like one another. There was definitely a vibe going on in 92.
And man, a lot of those extras were a lot more memorable IMO than some of the songs that went to #1. Ce Ce Pennington and "Finally" only went to #26 on the R&B chart?!?!? That is a damn shame. That would have been in my Top 5 for the year easily and for nostalgia sake alone Kris Kross would have been an easy Top 10.

"Finally" probably would have been a Top 15 contender/possible Top 10, with "Jump" a definite Top 10 contender for me. :'( Can't wait to see how this rankdown goes as we're almost to the duedate!

Oh man! I thought I did this already! Well, I just submitted. I love my top 15 so much, I don't really care where any of them land, as long as they are in the top 15, LOL. After that, it's whatever.

Today's extras are by this Atlanta-based female trio. Their first charted single peaked at #2 on the R&B chart and #6 on the Hot 100, and was nominated for a Grammy for Best R&B Song. Samples numerous songs, including Kool & The Gang's "Jungle Boogie" and Average White Band's "School Boy Crush".
Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg - TLC
Next, the follow-up to their #1 "Baby-Baby-Baby". It peaked at #2 R&B and #7 on the Hot 100, and samples the James Brown song "Blues & Pants".
The music video features a cameo by Jermaine Dupri.
What About Your Friends - TLC
The extended mix features a then-unknown hip hop group from Atlanta called Outkast.

Just submitted. There's enough amazing extras posted here to displace most of my top 20. T.R.O.Y., Don't Sweat the Technique, Love's Taken Over, The Choice Is Yours, My Kinda Girl (their BEST single), The Way I Feel About You ( Kevin Saunderson remix!!), I Wanna Love You, Love Me, She's Playing Hard To Get, Goodbye, Give U My Heart, Die Without You, I Want You, Somebody Loves You Baby, When You've Been BLESSED, Work To Do ( MAW!), Make It Happen, I Belong To You, The Rush, I Adore You, Still In Love With You, Breakin' My Heart (this was definitely R&B airplay #1, right? Had to be) and EVERYTHING CeCe Peniston. It doesn't get better than this, though. It just doesn't.

Hate that it only got to #4 on R&B

Yessss, I'm so here for those TLC extras of "Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg" and "What About Your Friends"! I love both of those songs. Such a shame neither were #1 hits on the R&B charts, as they would have been Top 10 contenders on my list. :'(
Really enjoy both of the Boyz II Men extras, though I'm not as familiar with those songs as I am with some of their other singles.

Giving Him Something He Can Feel is playing at the brewery right now. It's all 90s and early 2000s R&B. Now: Cupid!
They usually play pop punk and emo.

Today's extras are by this fiery diva. The lead single from her album The Woman I Am topped the dance chart, and peaked at #2 on the R&B chart.
Love You All My Lifetime - Chaka Khan
The follow-up was another Top 10 R&B hit, peaking at #8.
You Can Make The Story Right - Chaka Khan

What songs do you think will be in the top 5?
I Will Always Love You, Real Love, Baby-Baby-Baby, End of the Road and either Remember the Time or Diamonds and Pearls.
What songs do you think will be in the bottom 5?
BOTH *. ***** songs without a doubt… Do It to Me, Ain’t Nobody Like You and Sweet November are my 3 other random guesses.
What song will have the highest SD? Lowest SD?
Lowest will prob be either “I Will Always Love You” or “Honey Love” (for two different reasons) and highest… idk, “Save the Best for Last”?

Reveals will begin in just a moment!
But first, a couple of extras. The biggest hit for this rapper from Washington was this ode to the backside. It topped the Hot 100 for 5 weeks and peaked at #27 on the R&B chart. It won a Grammy for Best Rap Solo Performance and samples the Channel One song "Technicolor".
Baby Got Back - Sir Mix-a-Lot
Sir Mix-a-Lot says that the inspiration behind the song was Jennifer Lopez's moves as a Fly Girl on In Living Color.
Next, the biggest hit by this hip hop duo formed in Virginia. It topped the rap chart and peaked at #5 R&B and #25 on the Hot 100. Samples James Brown's "Blind Man Can See It" and Malcolm McLaren's "Buffalo Gals".
They Want EFX - Das EFX
