Tevin got done so dirty, especially when the likes of a random group that wasn't even sure of their own name, apparently, is still in it. I LOVE Al B. (well, his debut album, which is literally flawless), but I pretty much was a debut album stan and that was that. I remember getting his weirdly titled second album and even back then, it didn't stick with me outside a couple songs. Never heard Glenn Jones and never will again!

First extra for today was the follow-up to her R&B #1 "Running Back To You". It peaked at #2 on the R&B chart and was nominated for a Grammy for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance.
The Comfort Zone - Vanessa Williams
Next, the follow-up to their #1 "Giving Him Something He Can Feel". It peaked at #23 R&B and #8 on the Hot 100, and was nominated for a Grammy for Best Rock Vocal Performance By a Duo Or Group.

- Love Boyz II Men, so awww, I'm sad to see "Uhh Ahh" showing up already and missing the Top 20. :( Definitely not amongst one of their all time great songs but this was a really enjoyable and fun song from them. One I hadn't really heard from them before but it was a great discovery. - Ahh I came so close to getting a perfect rank for "I Got a Thang 4 Ya!" as this came in at #23 while I ranked it at #25. Darn, soo close. I don't really remember this but this was an okay song for me, I'm sure. - Aww also sad to see Lionel Richie's "Do It To Me" missing out from making the Top 20 as I put this at #15. :( This was a really enjoyable, beautiful song from him. Also another song that was new to me but one that I did really enjoy. Wow the points of these songs are so close 332/334/335 and close averages of 21.14/21.07/21.04. - Okay yay glad that one of my lowest ranks in Jodeci's "Stay" showed up now. Wow this has quite a margin over the other 3 songs and wow at the 5th highest standard deviation. Interesting. This was a nice song but one that didn't stand out or do much for me. Omggg so no female artists songs have been revealed yet?  Hoping some of my lower ranks shows up next set! |

Awww noo, "Free Your Mind" wasn't a #1 hit on the R&B charts? That's a bummer as that's such an iconic song. :'( It would have been somewhere in my Top 5 or so if it was eligible for this list. :'(

Well...at least I got two perfect rankings out of this set, and 16 out of my top 20 is left (and I genuinely don't dislike the other four songs; 1992 was a really good year IMO). But I truly cannot trust y'all hoes with male r&b at ALL if it isn't Michael or Prince, and I especially can't leave you alone around a male r&b ballad! y'all see brown dick on a slow jam and run screaming like some scared ass schoolgirls looking for the cops!

I was only a couple of spots off with Lionel, but Do It To Me is a pretty song. Y'all need to ease up on Bruno Mars' daddy, Lionel knew his lane and he stayed in the pocket.
Only dude we're seeing eye to eye on is Aaron Hall apparently. I understood his appeal back then, but was personally never a big fan of his solo work.
I doubt it would have helped Tevin's position much in this rankdown if anyone knew that the radio edit for Alone With You was different from the album version, but it was always the superior take to me. idk why it's not officially available anywhere since this is the version that got promoted.
