^ He actually did, that random remix he did on Maluma’s Hawai counted and was still on the charts at the time the week that BL left. As for the artists with one of the most consecutive weeks on the hot 100, Abel falls rather short with only 127 weeks to count. I think the next person in line is Dua Lipa, who hasn’t left the charts since Don’t Start Now. Drake and Bieber both must have crazy streaks right now

This is the thread that discusses that Hot 10o streak thing pulsemusic.proboards.com/thread/167814/drake-years-on-hot-100?page=1As of 8/15/17 this is the list Drake Isn’t on the Billboard Hot 100 for the First Time Since 2009 The streak is over - Drake isn't on the Billboard Hot 100 for the very first time since his debut hit, "Best I Ever Had," debuted on the chart in 2009, ending a run of 431 consecutive weeks. BY TREVOR ANDERSON TThe record streak is over: Drake is absent from the Billboard Hot 100 for the very first time since his debut hit, “Best I Ever Had,” debuted on the chart in 2009, ending an unprecedented run of 431 consecutive weeks on the Hot 100. On the latest Hot 100 (dated Aug. 26), the superstar’s two tracks from the previous week’s tally depart: “Passionfruit” falls from No. 81 and “Signs” disappears from No. 100. As previously noted, Drake became the first artist ever to log eight straight years on the Hot 100 in May, dating to the entrance of “Best I Ever Had” on May 23, 2009, at No. 92, on its way to a No. 2 peak. Since then, he had appeared on every Hot 100 since, either in a lead or featured role (and often, both). Here’s an updated look at the artists with the most consecutive weeks on the Hot 100 since the chart’s Aug. 4, 1958, inception: Most Consecutive Weeks on Billboard Hot 100 431, Drake 326, Lil Wayne 216, Rihanna 207, Nicki Minaj 161, Chris Brown 159, JAY-Z 152, Nelly 141, Kenny Chesney 139, Destiny’s Child 139, Katy Perry 139, Taylor Swift Within his endeavor of endurance, Drake has stormed to some impressive Hot 100 achievements: — He currently boasts 157 charted titles, the most among soloists and second-most among all artists only to the Glee cast’s 207. Deep into his 431-week run, he passed Lil Wayne, now with 136 Hot 100 visits, for the most appearances among solo acts. — Drake also set the record – twice – for the most entries on the Hot 100 by an artist in a single week. On the chart dated May 21, 2016, he claimed 20 positions on the Hot 100, spurred by the arrival of songs from his Views album. He rewrote that mark on April 8, 2017, when tunes from his More Life LP helped push him to 24 simultaneous charted titles. — Drake linked 51 consecutive weeks in the Hot 100’s top 10, the longest string for a solo male, trailing only Katy Perry‘s 69 straight weeks (2010-11) and The Chainsmokers‘ 61 (2016-17). Drake’s streak started on Oct. 3, 2015, when “Hotline Bling” rose 16-9, and he wouldn’t vacate the region again until Sept. 24, 2016, when “One Dance,” featuring WizKid and Kyla, dropped 11-9. — “Dance,” a No. 1 for 10 weeks, gave the Toronto native his first Hot 100 leader as a lead act, after he previously topped the chart as featured on two Rihanna songs: “What’s My Name?,” for one week in 2010, and “Work,” for nine weeks in 2016.

As for Drake he did break it just one week before CLB and he had a total of 188 weeks starting with God’s Plan. CB would’ve had 303 weeks from 2010-2016 had he not left for just 2 weeks so it does happen to artists sometimes. Bieber actually would’ve had a longer streak but he left on the 09/26/2020 chart and it was just one week before Holy debuted, so he’s at a streak of only 85 weeks.

in the Top 10 together this week, and on tour together this fall: I didn't know Lizzo was big enough to play arenas already. This is so huge for someone whose career really only took off 3 years ago. It's never too late, y'all. Go, Lizzo! yup. her show here is basically sold-out, with just a bunch of accessible seating tickets and platinum tickets remaining (and of course some "verified resale tickets").

Does anyone know how long the Weeknd's streak lasted? Did he go uninterrupted on the Hot 100 from 2019-2022 and are there any other streaks I should know about so I can update the list?

I think the most impressive of The Weeknd's longevity is the fact that two songs are primarily responsible for that run being that long in Blinding Lights and Save Your Tears.

What caused the sudden surge for Sweetest Pie? It only moved up +2 but without the double album bomb it would pretty much top 20 now.
Is it really starting to take off? Does Dua's team sleep? Lol

lol at a song called “Christmas Tree” moving up to #6 this deep into May. I just hope that Elon Musk improves the spam blocking once he finally completes the takeover of Twitter.

Lol Part of it is radio steadily advancing and streaming stabilizing. The other part is (for this week in particular) a minor boost from the David Guetta remix that was released on the 6th.

Congratulations re-entered the Hot 100 on the January 21, 2017 chart and Circles departed the Hot 100 on the November 14, 2020 chart. Right, 1/21/17 through 11/7/20. Maybe the discrepancy is the two charts for 1/3/18 and 1/6/18 when the tracking period was adjusted? Edit: I realized you said 11/14/20 - I believe the last week for Circles was 11/7/20

I wonder if there are any other acts who have spent at least 100 consecutive weeks charting on the Hot 100 so I can add them to the list.

2 of the most unbeatable records imo: Drake charting for 8+ years straight Mariah getting a #1 hit in 11 consecutive years
It will be very very hard for an artist to break either of these. Especially with overexposure being such a big thing (and so many other profitable ventures these days for musicians...ariana and rihanna are both focusing on beauty products now, and I don't blame them.
