From what I've heard, the Post album is a dip from his last couple but honestly if/when this underperforms I'm blaming the rollout more than anything it's been so strange

Yep, it's going to #1 on this tracking week.

Yep, it's going to #1 on this tracking week. I wouldn't be so certain. As It Was is still ahead on Spotify with a massive airplay lead.

Well... It's About Damn Time that it will be #1 LOL. Once we get to this tracking week, summer songs charts will be in week 2

Will this show up on the Kworb radio charts? Or will it be considered recurrent?

Yep, it's going to #1 on this tracking week. I wouldn't be so certain. As It Was is still ahead on Spotify with a massive airplay lead. Not on the daily, though. It has a solid lead of 600k streams on it there, which is probably going to be more representative of it than the weekly, considering it missed the first couple days of the week on there.

The chance is probably very slim, but Running Up That Hill hitting number one during Pride month will just feel very correct We all thought Bruno would only have a very slim chance of reaching #1 when it was first becoming big due to the fact we thought it wouldn't get any airplay and the more competitive songs above it, so who knows, we probably shouldn't rule out RUTH reaching the top, especially now that it's apparently getting serviced to radio (even if that won't end up adding many points).
Can we take a moment to understand why One Kiss is back on Global Spotify top 50? It's a big summer song but that big? I doubt it's the buzz with Calvin's new album since potion isn't really taking off yet. TikTok trend? But it was a much, much bigger song worldwide the summer of 2018 (probably THE biggest that summer) than it was in the U.S., so I could absolutely understand this surge, buoyed further by the buzz of Potion and Calvin's new album, even if the Liverpool event and the TikTok trend weren't taking place.

My heart will forever be broken that "she's all i wanna be" is doing so well on callouts but radio decided to fail it.
I have firm belief it would've been a top 10 smasher if radio took it all the way. :'(

I'm genuinely surprised the GP is so open to Boyfriend! And Bam Bam just radiates positive energy, I'm shocked that's getting such low scores

i can't believe we're living in the universe where "all too well" and "running up that hill" are billboard hot 100 hits in the year 2022. i would love to see kate bush stick around for a while on the charts!

Maybe if he goes from YE #1 to flopping, the reigning YE #1 artist can do the same. DaBaby didn't credit for the #1 don't worry

Will RUTH be featured in ST season final episodes?
Because now that it's being serviced to radio and in a month's time (when AIW and FC) doing significantly lower numbers in all metrics, I can see RUTH sneaking a week (or more) at #1.

I don't know if it's been mentioned yet but it seems like Tems is getting an industry push and not just on features. This debuted on the Bubbling Under this week, apparently they've been pushing it for a while, it also has some streams on AM and while I don't think this will hit the Top 40, I could see this lingering around like Pick Up Your Feelings or Pressure

In a monthβs time, About Damn Time will be Running Up That Hillβs biggest competition. RUTH will be #1 starting this tracking week, but itβs going to be interesting to see if it can sustain the streaming numbers as ADT gets closer to its radio peak/Lizzoβs album release.

The bigger problem is that RCA does an extremely bad job at promoting radio singles. Theyβve been known to practically sabotage the runs of well-liked songs like Midnight Sky and Wild Side, and now the same thing is happening to SAIWB.

TCT bombed on streaming, if it's a regular frontloaded album it could debut at #3 on the BB200 with barely 120K units. Poor Post, it's over I fear
That said, I Like You looks like it should go top 10 (maybe even top 5 if it holds up well) and Cooped Up can sneak in.

Imagine telling someone in 2017-2020 that Post Malone would debut at #2 on spotify only to be blocked by Kate Bush

This era is very weird for Posty, but I think I finally get why. It's his first pop era - while HB was still hip-hop at it's core, TCT has completely different foundations. It's closest to JB's latest output.
Comparing Post to rappers doesn't make sense at this point. Sonically he's something completely different, and commercially he performs very differently, too. TCT simply has much more in common with Equals or Justice than I Never Liked Your or Mr Morale.
And that is actually a smart move, since it plays into Post's strongest side - his surprising appeal as a boomer-pop hitmaker. He knows the audience that will keep his career going. He'll be fine. This era is messy, but it would be difficult to expect anything else.
The Ed-Justin-Post trinity will be the go-to hitmakers for the casual listeners, the silent majority of music consumers.

The album as a whole bombed for his standards (and I love Post), it's not even going to get 11M audio per track which is a MASSIVE decline from HB's 21.5M per track. I Like You did decently and the top 10 cutoff is insanely weak as I've mentioned. Even with 140-150 points it can go top 10, that's not impressive

It's still better than The Weeknd for instance... He had no songs in top ten on album release week.
