It’s literally at #4 and still gaining, it’s not that bad. I think we should just give it a day when the Spotify numbers gets updated, and then we determine if it’ll be a successful album or not. It’s been 10 hours and already coming to a conclusion is ridiculous. No one performs 1:1 with their last album, or with the artist who did the most impressive numbers this year. If we’re expecting all these album bombs to do Sour/Harry House type numbers, we’re setting unrealistic expectations for ourselves no matter how big the artist may be.

I knew this was coming as soon as I heard Hollywood's Bleeding. And to be fair, I can't put all the blame on Post. It seems like he's having a lot of problems with Republic.

Either way, he'll need to go full-on rock and country to try save his career. Pop and rap audiences are done with him.

But how big of a decline was the discussion. I don’t think he’ll be doing below 93k, but I think basically 100-200k is the ceiling at this point.

Can we take a moment to understand why One Kiss is back on Global Spotify top 50? It's a big summer song but that big? I doubt it's the buzz with Calvin's new album since potion isn't really taking off yet. TikTok trend?

Only about halfway through Post's album and it's awful. He tried to recreate the magic of Circles with Wrapped Around Your Finger but failed miserably. No joke, but Lemon Tree has to be one of the worst songs I've heard in a long time.

I Like You is just ok. They made the right choice with pushing it as the focus track, but I don't see it being a huge hit. Maybe as big as One Right Now?

Am I looking at the updated chart or does he not have one song in the Top 10 on Apple music?

In recent years it has became the anthem for Liverpool fans ti sing. They had a parade to celebrate their trophies on the 29h , the day before it was the Champions League final and the song has been surging ever since.

As a huge Post fan, this album is extremely mid. Like first of all there's literally zero single material outside of maybe the Doja Cat track, it makes sense why One Right Now was the lead, it's basically the only catchy song on the album. Second of all, almost every song sounds the same and some even sound unfinished. The only distinct songs to me are One Right Now and the Doja track, but yeah One Right Now is mostly the outlier, it actually doesn't sound like it belongs on the album at all but they threw it on there because it was a hit.

Maybe it'll grow on me, but it feels like even Post didn't want this released. It feels like the label told him to scrap together something quickly because it has been so long since his last album and his last couple singles underperformed. Pretty disappointed, it's been 3 years since Hollywood's Bleeding and this is what we get.

The album isn’t even bad at all. Sure it’s more on the safe side and personal, but there’s still some enjoyment on the album. Reputation is as good of a Post intro as usual, but nothing would ever probably top HB. Cooped Up is spacious and fun to listen to and has grown on me these past few weeks. Lemon Tree i have to agree its one of the worst, it’s all over the place tbh. Wrapped Around Your Finger is probably what Circles and SYT would sound like if it was mixed together. I Like You is a great pop song and Doja killed it as usual. I Cannot Be sadly isn’t Circles ft. Gunna but i guess its decent for what it is. Insane is just a safe song i guess.

Love/Hate Letter is probably one of the more personal songs on here and depending on if you like his singing on here or not is the deciding factor i guess. Wasting Angels is actually really good and Laroi doesn’t do anything to ruin it, i like it. Euthanasia is just another safe song nothing special. When I’m Alone definitely reminds me of a cut from HB and is probably one of the best songs on the album. Waiting On A Miracle is boring honestly. One Right Now has really grown on me and is one of the better songs on here. And the final track is just a random unfinished song so i can’t really say anything about it.

Overall i give this album a 6.5/10 there are some lows on here, but the highs do make up for it. Definitely not better than HB not even near it, but i’ll say its for sure better than Stoney.
