Yes, that’s the point I was making. The interesting thing now will be to see if it stabilizes at all or if it ends up having a fairly quick descent. I’m wondering if it’ll get some increased press once the hot 100 is revealed, and if that might trigger some growth again.

Not really, I think Heat Waves has the YE #1 on lock.

Another interesting thing to note is that 2022, unlike the other years in the streaming era, hasn't had that long-running #1 hit:

2013 - Blurred Lines (12)
2014 - Happy (10)
2015 - Uptown Funk (14), See You Again (12), Hello (10)
2016 - One Dance (10), Closer (12)

Yup haha, hyperbole/a joke, The Twist was number one for kids once and number one for adults once — actually a wild story to read about. 

Morgan Wallen will be the longest gap between non-holiday / non-death Top 10 runs since then, I believe!

It's late, but I finally listened to 12K Toothache... it's not as bad as everyone made it out to be! Yeah there were a few REALLY dreary songs that I don't understand anyone liking, but there were some good ones too that I could see being hits - I Like You, I Cannot Be, & Wrapped Around Your Finger are the best new tracks IMO

Contrary to some of the other claims in this thread, I do think these numbers are concerning for Post Malone. Sure, occupying 7/10 of the top 10 songs in the US Spotify top 50 is no easy feat. But this is Post Malone- the steaming giant, we’re talking about. He literally has the biggest song of all time on Spotify. I really think his pop-trap sound is starting to sound outdated and people aren’t connecting to his music the same way they did a few years ago.

RUTH is easily beating it's original #30 peak, which I think was Kate Bush's highest peak on the Hot 100 to date. That is a massive win, no matter if it's #3, #4 or #5.

It also cements Stranger Things' place as Netflix's biggest cultural force, give or take The Crown.

I thought it was Shape of You or Blinding Lights. Besides, I think Sunflower (which holds the record for the most weeks on the streaming songs chart) has to be Post’s most streamed song on US Spotify.

I think you're think of the fact rockstar has the most weeks on top of US Spotify but it's not the most streamed of all time.
