What chart are you looking at because he has all the songs charting in the top 90 on that chart. And also someone pointed out on here that the video was private for a couple of hours which damaged its algorithm and potential views it could’ve gotten. Despite all this, i’m slowly starting to accept that this is Post’s flop era and it’s sad because the album is actually decent.

I'm assuming he means the songs on the deluxe of TCT. A deluxe of just TWO new songs

He released two new Deluxe songs at midnight that are not currently charting.

The video has been public for at least 12+ hours now and has only 600K views so I’m not even sure the private excuse works

The video not getting more than 600k views might once again have something to do with the algorithm but then again i don’t think people care as much for this era at all.

From a serious perspective, I wouldn't exactly count on that either, because Doja is seriously entering overexposed territory, and even if this one is a success, it might jeopardize future success for her later on because people will grow tired of her.

Really? It seems like to me “Vegas”/“I Like You” will be the last bit of this stretch. She’s strongly indicated she’s going to take some time off after this and the next album isn’t being planned for anytime soon. So the soundtrack and feature are just here to fill what will be an appropriately long void.

I never got his appeal to begin with but I'm glad his moment seems to have passed. a very successful career regardless, and still a very popular artist. just past his prime.

I found it extremely ironic that he made a song called Congratulations so early into his career when he had no hits besides White Iverson that didn’t even make the top 10, and people were calling him nothing but a OHW. Little did we know that was actually the literal start of a beast run that lasted 3 years which generated 3 smash album eras, and 3 all time top 100 hits. No one expected Post to be this successful let alone at all after 2016, but he was and it was a legendary run.

If this is the end for him, then i don’t mind accepting it. Although if he were to release the album back in 2020 instead, i think we would’ve seen a different outcome. In fact i think Post and Abel should’ve done the opposite of what they both did, in which the former should’ve continued making music and keep the streak alive, while the latter takes an actual break and comes back later on this year. I think this would’ve been the most beneficial path but there’s always next time to learn.

Post has always struck me as an artist who felt extremely uncomfortable with success, I think this outcome overall will be fine to him. I really think his career is gonna take him far away from pop and hip-hop. Even if he never gets another hit, his run between 2017-2020 was crazy and he should be proud of that. He's a very unconventionally looking artist that made it big in era with pretty boys like Justin Bieber and Shawn Mendes. And he has huge unforgettable hits (Sunflower, Circles, etc.). So in the end, oh well.

Post Malone's problem is the same of what has happened to The Weeknd and Dua Lipa, a massive hit (Circles, Blinding Lights/Save Your Tears, Levitating) that just didn't die and in the end, cannibalized their future success.

All of Post's songs have dropped substantially to the point where none of them are killing the new era. It's just poorly promoted and also his worst album to date.

Also when did Dua Lipa kill her future success? "Love Again" was never gonna be a huge hit with a mild push and such a late release, "Sweetest Pie" did alright considering it sucks, "Cold Heart" was a hit and it's too soon to tell with "Potion"... but all of those were low profile singles. If her next lead flops maybe.
