{*Spoiler about Box Sets lmao*} It looks like the CDs all have the standard cover, it's the t-shirts that have the different poses.

So now that the album is out and we know it's part one of three, I wonder what the gameplan is. Are they gonna work this for awhile? Or is she gonna be dropping part two in a couple of months. What's Beyoncé up to? I hope they release them yearly (Act II Summer 2023, Act III Summer 2024), giving each album a good amount of time to be promoted and have multiple singles.

I really love the album!! I have been listening to it non-stop all weekend. I love the mix of different styles.
I hope “break my soul” goes to #1 on the H100. That would be amazing! Either way though, the music is awesome. I am really excited to hear the other acts too.

Her website code only had stuff added for B7 & B8, so I would guess one of the acts is not a studio album.

Both NY and LA Times gave it 5/5 stars! Currently 93 on Metacritic.

Heard someone saying Beyonce is more of a business than she is an artist. Thinking about the 24 writers on Alien Superatar, I can’t help but agree.

Giving Beyoncé a negative review could cost them a job that already pays poorly.

I don't work in the service industry but I would never use that as an insult. you're probably insufferable with them too, huh?

The album is very well produced! Bravo. And thank god she is singing. The album is starting nicely, but I'm not feeling the second part of it (from "Move" onwards).
I love these tracks :

I wasn’t going to write anything because I love that Beyoncé can manage to do so well still this late in her career as a female R&B singer. However, it’s quite insulting that she gets praise for breathing at this point. Listening to this album, I just heard noise. And on top of that, the endless amount of people involve, it is far from creative or illustrate her as an artist. I don’t see her as an artist. She’s a great performer and a good singer. If this album came from anyone else, it wouldn’t get an ounce of praise as it has been receiving. There has been such a change in how critics look at these reviews that I’m not shocked. She’s also a great business woman because the way she has manipulated gays with this album. So many are so far up her ass that you can’t see what is being done. She’s doing what on trend right now and because of her hype, she can get away with it. Think about it!

I think she got more into the creative process after B'Day. You can tell more with each album. At this point, she would've flat out said she doesn't write nothing or help with anything , or more people would've exposed it imo.

Her father has taught her the ropes of the music business. My only gripe with her process that she has overuse of writers sometimes. I know some songs get passed around; however, it comes off since self titled that these songs have been flowing around in the industry. And then the songs get praised when some of the songs have been sitting for years with other artists. No matter what I’m impressed with her longevity and she’s quite creative with keeping her name out here.

i don’t know how many of you have actually worked in a studio or have been in possession of a modicum of talent but there’s no shame in collaboration and having writers on songs. the creative process is different for everyone and no matter how many people created a body of work - the work still shines. there’s a lot of people (whether they’re credited or not) that go into producing a body of work. very few artists can be completely self-sufficient and even still, they rely on other’s work when it comes to jobs such as set-building, video production, touring and so on. so this idea that the number of writers on a song somehow discredits Beyoncé’s work or talent is irrelevant. you can never discredit talent, charisma, and showmanship. now sip on that. I'm one of one, I'm number one, I'm the only one Don't even waste your time trying to compete with me (Don't do it) No one else in this world can think like me (True) I'm twisted (Twisted), I'll contradict it

And as someone who works in the industry and has firsthand knowledge of her writing contributions in former eras, this is all just crazy to me. I’m getting serious Mariah vibes with this argument. Beyonce has been contributing to her music since the DC years. I wish people would do the research or look into past interviews and credits. Or dive into the mechanics of the way music is produced and released. I’ve been on this board for years and it’s always mind blowing the amount of hate that comes from a Beyonce release. I completely understand if the new album isn’t for you and you expand upon why in a concise way. I’m actually interested in those convos because art is subjective. But the blatant tomfoolery discrediting her as an artist is so not a convo anymore. I think her legacy proves that.

However, what can we account for as her thought process when there are so many writers involved? It’s not about discrediting because it’s obvious by the critics and public view that she’s doing something right. I just don’t agree or look at her as this artist when the input is shared with so many. I would respect her more as supposedly “artist” if she didn’t feel the need to put her names with so many others and then you could say she has a good ear for music—and even that will subjective especially with this album.

I missed these big diva releases messy threads! We only have a few big divas left we must persevere our history of fighting in their threads.
Not to instigate but I firmly believe Beyonce was the lead and head writer of this project.
Miss Diane Warren cheesy lyrics ass needs to pipe down. She ain't not Mariah Carey okay with that Kris Jenner haircut
