Just saying this rn, if yall whine and bitch about Heat Waves when it breaks the record, don't s**t on me for whining and bitching ever again. I'm saying this cause I already know there's gonna be a huge meltdown if it happens. I wouldn't be surprised if someone boardicides out of frustration. You really suck all the enjoyment out of chart watching, you know that?

I'm sure most of us will be dragging the people who whine anyway. Imo, you have the right to whine and bitch about something if it's not excessive, and you don't s**t on someone else for whining about a song that you like. Anyway, we should get back on topic.

Alright, so what factors do we think are accounting for the variation in terms of chart estimates for this week. It looks like we have some sort of variation when it comes to how many sales are being accounted for.

I'm just saying that I don't want people to be hypocritical. When that one person is ever present constantly complaining about other people with catchphrases like โthe people who do this, are the same people doing thatโ as if it were true. Enjoy the music, enjoy the charts, stop complaining about people complaining. Thatโs all.

I mean, I wonโt complain if Heat Waves does break the record for most weeks but Iโm rooting for it to drop out because I donโt like it.

Week 2 Streams for Albums:
Bad Bunny - Un Verano Tin Si: 102,222,185 (-32%)Harry Styles - Harry's House: 83,031,569 (-46%)Kendrick Lamar - Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers: 49,791,842 (-69%)Beyoncรฉ - RENAISSANCE: 33,225,656 (-53%)The Weeknd - Dawn FM: 32,442,897 (-62%) What were the 2nd week numbers for Drake and Future? Neither were strong enough to warrant a second week coverage. They'd collapsed pretty hard thus no numbers.

Nah, there won't be any whining, a couple might acknowledge that it has the record the week it breaks it, but the vast majority will just ignore it and talk about how great BL is. The usual pulse passive aggressive approach when stuff happens they don't like or want. It'll probably get knocked out though in like week 88 by an album bomb and we'll never know if it would have otherwise hung on long enough or not.

Iโm surprised the mods havenโt locked this thread yet. Yeah, we should probably get back on topic now. Anyway, this is such a tight race for number 1 and I'm really excited to see what comes out on top. I like all 3 songs, which I'm happy about, even though I really do want adt to win, and I'm sick of aiw, but at least whatever does take number 1 will be a song that I like.

I hope AIW gets that 11th week, and the Queens Remix is #1 on the Digital Sales chart, adding another #1 to Madonna's repertoire.

So, we have been getting a lot of reports from the Hot 100 threads lately, both this one and the 8/27 one. Most of them have just been annoying rather than actionable, so I am just going to make a post here kindly asking everyone to stay on topic. Make sure you are discussing the Hot 100 charts rather than other posters. If you have a problem with a post that somebody makes, please report it and then ignore it rather than engaging with it or proceeding to insult the poster who made it. Now that I have asked nicely, we will start taking action against passive-aggressive digs at other posters as well as overall thread derailment if it continues.
Thanks everyone!! Let's keep it classy so that people actually want to post here!

Would rather see Jackson Dean charting instead of Old Dominion.
Luke Combs possibly blocking Morgan Wallen in Hot Country Songs chart again is also nice, but hope Cole Swindell get it next week, which is possible given it is #1 on Spotify's Hot Country playlist now.

Itโs funny cuz I was one of the very few who thought BMS would go no.1. Now itโs predicted to spend a second week at the top. Who wouldโve thought Beyoncรฉ would have one of the biggest hits of the year.

So, what do you guys think about the possibility of Trouble With A Heartbreak becoming the latest country song to beat recurrency under 50 this week?
Also, what do you all think about the possibility of Super Gremlin holding for another week at 48?
