Does this week's top 10 contain the most artists in their late 30s and above we have seen in a long while? Elton John, Kate Bush, Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Britney Spears and Future. Even Drake and Lizzo are mid 30s but they would be more current artists than the ones previously mentioned.

Why is it unfortunate? How dare a woman in her 40’s and a man in his 70’s have a successful song that sticks around for awhile. It is nice to see them do well, but it's also random that radio seems to be jumping on it. It's not like streams have been overly great. It's Britney's first brand new song since the conservatorship. If anyone honestly thought this wouldn't be a hyped release then they're being dishonest or ignorant.

Many people thought Cold Heart was going to be a one-weeker at this point last year. HMC is going to be fine, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it had a long run, and possibly completes the 52 weeks, like Cold Heart.

48,000 sales! We definitely underestimated those figures!

48,000 sales! We definitely underestimated those figures! Not me. I predicted 40k sales as early as last Tuesday.

When was the last time Brit and Bey were together in the top 10? Has this even happened before?

I could do another 8 weeks of this... :kii: Oh no, please do not. AIW has already had more than its fair share of weeks at #1. It’s time to move on.

There is no "fair share" of #1 positions to divy up. Songs get them by having the most combined streaming, radio, and sales as calculated by Billboard every week. There are no quotas for songs or acts, only a weekly series of competitions between songs.

As It Was has now lasted 21 weeks in the top 2, tying “Stay” by The Kid Laroi & Justin Bieber for the record.

When was the last time Brit and Bey were together in the top 10? Has this even happened before? "Toxic" and "Naughty Girl" were top 10 at the same time in 2004. "Circus" and "Single Ladies" were top 10 at the same time, too. There may be other instances.

I think I read someone say that the last time they were in the Top 10 together was on the chart dated November 21, 2009. Britney Spears was at No. 8 with "3" and Beyoncé was at No. 10 with "Sweet Dreams."

I was simply looking at the trends of its streams.

Just as they say in the CHR/Pop section, wait until the end of week 3 or beginning of week 4 before you can declare a song dead.

By reaching #6, HMC has eclipsed CH. Chart peaks are so ... interesting. For historical purpose, it will appear to be the bigger hit (and it may end up that way), but the odds are against it. I'm thrilled Britney's back in the upper reaches of the H100. Hopefully, this paves the way for a great new solo project - Blackout Vol. 2.

Assuming "God Did" doesn't go any higher it will become the first song to peak at number 17 this year. It was the only position in the Top 40 that no song had peaked at this calendar year.
