Ok, so tell me we are going to get a televised performance from this album at some point. SNL, Grammy’s, ANYTHING… How about Good Morning America?

Swear to god Midnights better sneak in a couple more weeks at #1 on the BB200. The fact that last year 100k could have easily secured a couple weeks and this year it’s not enough is annoying.

I don't mind if Midnights doesn't return to #1 personally (peaks is pretty much a timing issue anyway). It's gonna perform better than pretty much any other album out at the moment (and likely released this year too) if we're being honest and that's quite the feat in itself. It would've taken the best-selling album of 2022 from Bad Bunny had it been released a few weeks earlier and this is all in a matter of months. Can't have it all. lol

Does anyone have a list of Taylor’s albums with their weeks at #1?

I need this to either match folklore with 8 weeks or Fearless/1989 with 11.

I’m predicting a Summer release for 1989 (pre-orders to be announced soonish) and a holiday release of a new Christmas album that encompasses the holiday collection ep. That way Midnights still gets it’s shine for a while longer.

She literally told us Speak Now TV is next in the “Bejeweled” video. The 13th floor button of the elevator was colored purple exactly as floor 3. The buttons were all color-coded corresponding to all of her album releases including the re-recordings.

I still think SN TV is coming around March. Tour and Midnights leftover-hype might carry her through the rest of the year so I wouldn't be shocked if there are no more TVs after that this year.

We're pretty sure there's one for "Lavender Haze" yet to be released based on the teaser she released on album release week but other than that I don't think there have been any other ones filmed to my knowledge at least.

Perhaps 1989 TV on the exact 9 year anniversary of the album, on 10/27? happens to be a Friday this year. 👀 could be a cute way to end or start the next leg of the Eras Tour, depending on where she's headed after the US.

The Australian leg is planned for October/November. She apparently has 3 nights at Melbourne's Cricket Ground booked already
I also think Speak Now TV is definitely next. The Sun even said that the release should happen before the tour starts. If they follow the same schedule as 2021 then 1989 should be released in October or November

I understand the Sun reported on it but I mean, it’s mid January, and the video for the second single still isn’t out. I don’t understand why there’d be a whole fresh TV album in two months.
She also wouldn’t have time to promote it.

Speak Now is the end of the year release — maybe not literally end of the year but it’s the only one we’re getting this year.

It wouldn't make sense for Taylor to not release an TV re-recordings this year. There is still a lot left to made and a second straight year without one would feel awkward especially with the thing against Scooter Braun. Releasing a few more this year would knock down Scooter Braun's profits from the original version.
My Guess for TV Re-Releases- Spring 2023-Speak Now TV Fall 2023 1989 TV
Fall 2024 New Album
Spring 2025 Debut TV Fall 2025 Reputation TV
I really can't see Taylor not releasing one this year at all.

Scooter sold off the recordings to Shamrock Holdings in 2020, so he’s no longer profiting off of the originals. That could explain why the rereleases aren’t coming out at the rate we originally expected them to. Now I think the goal of these rerecordings is maximizing interest in her previous catalog and giving fans a glimpse of what was left off the album in the vault tracks (and obviously making money) instead of minimizing Scooter’s profit.
With how big Midnights has been, I’d be surprised to see her move on quickly just to release a rerecording when there’s really not a hurry to do so. Especially if “Lavender Haze” becomes another hit and the album is still selling/streaming well, why not release a third single and then release Speak Now TV in late summer/early fall? Milk Midnights for all you can before moving on.

The Shamrock deal does give Scooter some sort of profit or residual, which is why Taylor declined their peace offering.

The Shamrock deal does give Scooter some sort of profit or residual, which is why Taylor declined their peace offering. This, and let’s not also forget that one of her other biggest driving factors in re-recording in the first place is that she wants to own the rights to her own music, as she deserves to. Whether they all come out in quick succession soon or take this first entire half of the 2020s ( ) to release, she’s doing them all, which was again made clear in the “Bejeweled” video’s elevator scene.

I think this is a good, educated guess. The tour begins on Friday, March 17th, so I could see Speak Now coming out that day or the week before to maximize tour hype. Then 1989 on it's anniversary in the Fall as someone suggested on the previous page. A new album in 2024 matches the pattern of 2021-2022 with the two TVs and Midnights. Realistically, I don't see many more singles from Midnights after "Lavendar Haze" - I think she'll toss out the video in the next six weeks to see if she can get its peak from #2 to #1 on the Hot 100 once it rises more on radio and then move on with SN(TV). Maybe...just maybe Republic might push some more radio singles, but with her being in full blown tour rehearsals and readiness soon, if not already, I don't see any more videos coming. Also I would love a Red(TV)/Midnights mashup for the Grammys.

'Midnights' isn't eligible for the Grammys until next year so I don't foresee her performing anything from it during this year's ceremony at least.

I don't know... I wouldn't be shocked either way but I kind of feel like rehearsing for the tour is probably her priority these next couple months. Midnights is still doing well so I don't think there's any urgency to get another re-recording out before it starts. Plus she hasn't released the video for "Lavender Haze" yet which sort of suggests they aren't finished pushing it in my opinion. I wouldn't be surprised if her team wants it to peak on radio around the time the tour begins.

Why would Taylor need to drop a re-record to stir up hype for her tour that made national headlines for how hard it was to get tickets?
I genuinely don’t understand this tentpole people keep clinging to. There’s no logic to two albums coming this year, or one coming in a few weeks.
Why would she take a week off of tour rehearsals right before it starts to go on Jimmy Fallon to promote something unrelated to Midnights?
I’m not saying it can’t happen but like…doesn’t that all seem a lot harder?

'Midnights' isn't eligible for the Grammys until next year so I don't foresee her performing anything from it during this year's ceremony at least. Denim & Rhinestones wasn’t eligible for 2022 either and Carrie Underwood still debuted “Ghost Story” there…it’s definitely possible. She’s probably not gonna be there of course, but it’s always a possibility. Why would Taylor need to drop a re-record to stir up hype for her tour that made national headlines for how hard it was to get tickets? I genuinely don’t understand this tentpole people keep clinging to. There’s no logic to two albums coming this year, or one coming in a few weeks. I’m not saying it can’t happen but like…doesn’t that all seem a lot harder? Let’s remember that The Eras Tour is not just for Midnights…it’s a tour supporting her entire discography, especially Lover/folklore/evermore which all didn’t/couldn’t get tour treatment. It is not at all unthinkable that she’d drop Speak Now TV this March as the tour that promotes it is starting.
