Unfortunately, one of these is Maroon 5. Really unfortunate that their worst performance was their most televised. They decided to not show their talent to the world that day when all of them are clearly talented af. They quit talent in 2007. We got what we expected. Yeah, go say that to Wait and Animals, their two most difficult songs vocally, which were both released long after 2007. Every member of the band has definitely improved since the mid 90s. Proof of that. Jordi. You might not like the songs on that album, but the talent is obviously there. Also I saw them live last year and they all were amazing!!!

I'm suspicious of Unholy, these numbers are pretty incredible but it's 200k from Bad Habit already. The TikTok hype machine is good for a couple days but they start to flair up as the week goes on and numbers can suddenly crash (Light Switch). But I'm Good is still holding up well, so we'll see.
But it's another drop in the weird year that is 2022, this would be the year Sam Smith & Kim Petras get a huge #1 hit, the same year Kate Bush, Joji, Steve Lacy, and the cast of a Disney movie get huge hits.

Yeah, go say that to Wait and Animals, their two most difficult songs vocally How so? Ok. Let's start with Animals. First of all, the obvious. The crazy vocal range you need to sing this song. There's a bunch of lows in the pre chorus and a bunch of highs in the chorus. But then even in the chorus, you have to flip from chest voice to head voice mid line, which can go horribly wrong if not with an amazing singer and a singer who is very experienced in this lane like Adam Levine. And then the G5 to F#5 howl. G5 is already an absolutely insane note to be hitting for a male singer already. But he does it in a f**king howl and it's legitimately amazing. And while he dosent hold the G5 (it goes down to F#5 immediately, that's just how the melody goes,) he does hold the F#5 and that is pretty impressive. You can't even lie about that. It's not an easy song, and Adam Levine absolutely kills it. Then we got Wait. And really what it is is that monster chorus. First of all the chorus is made up of the same thing repeated twice. But each time it's in a different octave which makes it an absolute hellhole to try to sing. But I actually thought that was it before I saw them live last year. At that concert, I actually relized it was even harder than I thought. When they performed Wait, ofc the entire crowd tried to sing it too (Cause lots of the not so die hard but still love them Maroon 5 fans are pretty dumb (They claim to be stans, but don't know all the members of the band), not to mention Blackbear opened, and just try to picture what a Balckbear stan would be like.) Anyway the entire crowd tried to sing along too, and usually with so many people you hear something that is kind of on key right? At least in my experience. Anyway when it got to the part "cause I want be with youououououououououou" it was a flat out disaster in the crowd. Oh God. I've never heard a crowd sing so bad in my life, and that made me realize that that part is super difficult. So when I got home, I actually tried singing it and I can confirm that it's really difficult. It's like riffs on runs on steroids. So other than the chorus, is it hard? No. But that chorus in an absolute monster that it's easily one hell of a hard song to sing. But anyway, as someone who loves to sing and play Maroon 5 songs on my keyboard at home, these are the ones that I've found to be the most difficult.
