1.I'll say yes...Latin music is growing at an incredible rate and I don't think it's too crazy to think a Spanish (or partially Spanish) language song will top the chart. People are focused on Bad Bunny but Karol G is getting top ten debuts now and regional Mexican songs are hitting the top 30. We could easily see something top the chart, especially if they add an English-language artist (like Bieber or Beyonce did with Latin tracks a few years ago) 2.Morgan Wallen...he'll probably be on the Hot 100 for the rest of the year 3.No...Taylor's next album will probably be a TV and I don't see a track from that selling that much. And since she's on the road it'll be bit tougher to record an all-new album so quickly.

Which Peso Pluma songs are eligible to get points? Anything that was charting on 4/1, since that was the week of streaming/airplay/sales that matched the week of the last Pick 3. So in Peso Pluma's case, all 5 of his songs which charted that week are ineligible: Ella Baila Sola, La Bebe, AMG, Por Las Noches, and PRC. For net year I'm hoping to come up with something better (ideally, we can do all of the picks before the year starts).

1. No - #1s usually need 1 of a few things: Insane opening week consumption (Streams/sales), Strong radio play while the streaming is still decent, or a timely remix. I think a Latin song would have to go the remix route - radio is usually slow on non-English songs, and no Latin singer can do 2M+ streams on release right now.
2. Drake - Morgan will be on the chart til December. But with the timing of this album, he may get knocked off by Christmas music. Drake OTOH seems like a good bet to release something in the latter half of the year which will keep his streak going.
3. No - I can't see anyone else doing those type of sales. Not sure Taylor has a reason to do anything like that again.

1. No - I wish, but I think it'll be some time before we see something that gets the level of success that UVST got. Especially since the bigger trend in the USA regarding Spanish music seems to be regional Mexican stuff this year, which definitely won't get to #1. The fact that the question takes just a verse to be affirmative does make me doubt my answer, though. After all, I Like It happened.
2. Morgan Wallen - This is gonna be historic lol.
3. No - Jimin isn't the first BTS solo member to get sales carried onto the Hot 100 recently. Except they didn't get to #1 or near it, so he's clearly some funky special case for these.

1. Yes, but not with this new emerging Peso Pluma style. It'll be something along the lines of Kali Uchis or Karol G 2. Morgan Wallen 3. No, Billboard will finally crack down and lower sale's impact on the charts, rendering the mass buying useless

This week's questions (Deadline Thurs, April 20)Q1: Pick 3 (Final Round!)Weโll start with the FINAL round of our Pick 3 artist game! Anyone can participate, even if this is your first time participating. There is no twist this week - you can choose any artist who hasnโt been chosen yet! REQUIREMENTS 1) You need to select 3 total artists 2) As before, you CANNOT select any artist who was picked in the first 3 rounds. (list is below) 3) Any songs which are charting as of April 29 will not count - so try to choose artists who you think will release more music this year!Got all that? Iโve included a couple of lists at the bottom of this question to help you all out. Your 3 picks will accumulate points throughout the year as they chart. Here's how the points will work: - +50 Points - For every song by your artists that hits #1
- +10 Points - For every additional week at #1
- +20 Points - For every song by your artists that hits the Top 10
- +4 Points - For every additional week at #2-10
- +10 Points - For every song by your artists that hits the Top 40
- +2 Points - For every additional week at #11-40
- +5 Points - For every song by your artists that hits the Top 100
- +1 Points - For every additional week at #41-100
- Songs that are charting as of the 4/29 chart will not earn points
- Holiday songs which charted in 2022 are not eligible either
- This has the potential to be worth a TON of points, so choose wisely!
Pick 3 new artists who you predict will have a big year in 2023 (5/6 - 12/30 chart) Here is a selected, non-exhaustive list of artists who meet the criteria (you may also select artists not on this list, so long as they meet the requirements): {CLICK FOR ELIGIBLE ARTISTS}A$AP Rocky Anderson .Paak Ariana Grande Bebe Rexha Beyonce Bruno Mars Charlie Puth Chris Brown Chris Stapleton Cody Johnson Cole Swindell DJ Khaled Dove Cameron Em Beihold Eminem Future Giveon Glass Animals Gunna Halsey Harry Styles Imagine Dragons ITZY Jack Harlow Joji Jonas Brothers Juice WRLD Jungkook Justin Bieber JVKE Kane Brown Kanye West Karol G Khalid Kodak Black Lewis Capaldi Lil Durk Lil Wayne Lisa Maroon 5 Megan Thee Stallion Nardo Wick Nicki Minaj Nicky Youre Normani P!nk Playboi Carti Pooh Shiesty Post Malone Rauw Alejandro Rod Wave Selena Gomez Shawn Mendes Summer Walker Tate McRae Tomorrow X Together Travis Scott TWICE Walker Hayes Yeat Young Thug Here are the artists previously selected - these CANNOT be picked: {CLICK FOR NONELIGIBLE ARTISTS}21 Savage Baby Keem Bad Bunny Bailey Zimmerman Billie Eilish Bizarrap Cardi B Doja Cat Drake Dua Lipa Ed Sheeran Frank Ocean GAYLE GloRilla Grupo Frontera Ice Spice J. Cole Kim Petras Latto Lil Baby Lil Nas X Lil Nas X Lil Uzi Vert Luke Combs Lukey Miley Cyrus Morgan Wallen NewJeans Olivia Rodrigo Omar Apollo Peso Pluma PinkPantheress Polo G Rawu Alejandro Raye Rihanna SEVENTEEN Steve Lacy SZA Taylor Swift Tems The Kid LAROI The Weeknd Tyler the Creator YoungBoy NBA Zach Bryan
Q2: SugaWeโre just a couple weeks removed from Jimin shocking everyone with a #1 solo debut on the Hot 100, followed shortly after with the biggest-ever drop from #1. Now, Suga (or Agust D as he plans to use as his solo stage name) is releasing his debut solo album next week, titled โD-Dayโ. Itโs looking like heโs gearing up for a big release, with several features, interviews, a world tour, and an Apple Music partnership. According to Instagram followers however, Suga is the 2nd-least popular BTS member. Does he have the fan power to match Jimin? Where on the Hot 100 will the top-charting song off SUGAโs โD-Dayโ debut? (5/6 chart) A: #1 B: #2-5 C: #6-10 D: #11-20 E: Outside the Top 20 Q3: Nicki & KimNicki Minaj and Kim Petrasโs much-anticipated collab โAloneโ is coming next week. Nicki is currently enjoying something of a late career comeback. After a few years without much success, 2022 featured several high-performing singles from her. And of course, her new aggressively-marketed Ice Spice collab, โPrincess Diana,โ appears likely to make an appearance in the Top 15 this week. Kim Petras, on the other hand, has been trying to break through in the pop scene for years. Nothing she released has really stuck with the general public until she lucked out with a feature on โUnholyโ late last year. With a newly elevated level of exposure, she has a chance to finally have her breakout moment. Where on the Hot 100 will โAloneโ debut? (5/6 chart) A: #1 B: #2-5 C: #6-10 D: #11-20 E: Outside the Top 20
