I thought Apple Music chart was glitching but she just has no new songs charting I- The Apple Music chart has been acting up a bit for me today. I checked how she was doing in the UK earlier only to see "Flowers" and the chart seemed frozen for me. Now she has most of the album top 100 on Apple Music here with "River" quickly working its way to the top 10. Although we don't have Morgan's 36 album tracks on our chart. I expect we'll see a lot of the album rising on Apple Music this evening with rush hour commute in the US/people getting home from work & School. Also Miley will likely do better on spotify than apple music. "River" is #1 on Today Top Hits, #1 on New Music Friday, #2 Pop Rising, #4 Pop Sauce and #8 on US Hot Hits. I expect it'll have a big debut tomorrow at least - perhaps even debuting ahead of "Flowers" which should have a big increase? Ahead of flowers? I highly doubt that |

^Already too late since it has already happened. Hopefully, it isn't #1 in Digital Song Sales this week, then. I wonder what prompted it to get to #1 at iTunes since it was released one week ago.

Love Miley as a person and she will have a great legacy when she decides to step away from her career so I was worried about going into the album after hearing flowers (a bop, but so boring) and the mixed reviews on here.
I really enjoyed the album! Jaded and Thousand Miles are so good. Flowers is probably the weakest for me lol
She will debut just fine, one mainstream success song isn't enough to push a full on album bomb so not sure why everyone was expecting it to begin with. Hopefully she gets a few new singles out of it throughout the next year or two.

Trump saw the Billboard article about past world leaders that have charted and got jealous. Genuinely would not be surprised if that happened lmaoooo. Am I the only one who thinks it sounds more eerie than patriotic, why does the choir sound so spooky
I thought the Endless Summer Vacation tracks would be higher on AM by now

I’ve listened to Miley’s album in full and I didn’t hate it. There are definitely some throwaway tracks but she has some highs in there. Jaded and violet chemistry are definitely stand outs… why did her team pick rivers as the second single …
I’m also shocked that her album isn’t being received commercially considering how much of a streaming juggernaut flowers was.

She'll have better Spotify numbers for sure, but yeah...I'm not really surprised, most people streamed Flowers because of the song and the story behind it, not because of Miley. I mean, since Wrecking Ball, her singles only spent FOUR weeks in the top 20 (Malibu two weeks, Midnight Sky one and Don't Call Me Angel one), that's two weeks less than Flowers' weeks at #1 lol. This era is still a big success for her, I don't think she even thought she would score a bigger chart hit than Wrecking Ball and Party In The USA in 2023. |

So its Miley vs Morgan vs TWICE this week for the album chart No. It's Morgan at #1 and Miley Vs. Twice fighting for #2 Given how the last Twice album did 100k against DJ Khaled and Bad Bunny and with Miley’s numbers rn, this seems like the likely possibility. How’s Miley doing on Apple Music? As of now, Flowers is at 14, Jaded is at 102, River’s at 121, Rose Colored Lenses is at 133, Thousand Miles with Brandi Carlile is at 152, and You is at 182. They gonna make a run for the #1 with this and the music video: OH YES! And tbh this is the perfect time for a big push to get this to number-one. The radio’s still going, even if the momentum has stalled. Boy’s A Liar and Last Night haven’t gotten enough radio to make a run (or in the latter’s case, another run) at number-one. Kill Bill and Flowers’s radio gains have slowed and the streaming and sales have stalled. And the streaming and sales weakness for Creepin can be remedied by this remix and the video. Hope this gets to number one next week, then Kill Bill can get there, then Boy’s A Liar or Last Night are likely next. |
