39. Crush On You (Remix) - Lil Kim feat. Lil CeaseBorn and raised in Brooklyn, Kimberly Jones got her start as a member of Junior M.A.F.I.A. She later went solo, releasing her debut album Hard Core in 1996. The single "Crush On You" was released the following year. Featuring fellow Junior M.A.F.I.A. member Lil Cease and The Notorious B.I.G., it peaked at #4 on the R&B airplay chart. The song wasn't released commercially in the US, but the remix was included on Lil Kim's next single "Not Tonight". It had originally intended to be a duet between Lil Kim and Lil Cease from the start, but after getting pregnant and then having an abortion, Kim took a break from music. As a result, she's not heard on the original version of "Crush On You". 37. Still Not a Player - Big Pun feat. JoeBorn and raised in The Bronx, Christopher Rios started out a member of a group called Full-A-Clips and took on the name Big Moon Dawg. He later changed is name to Big Punisher and met Fat Joe, who invited him to appear on his Jealous One's Envy album. Big Pun released his debut album Capital Punishment in 1998. His biggest hit, "Still Not a Player" is a remix of the song "I'm Not a Player". Featuring Joe, it peaked at #13 on the rap chart, #6 on the R&B chart, and #24 on the Hot 100. Samples "A Little Bit Of Love" by Brenda Russell and interpolates Joe's "Don't Wanna Be a Player" and Earth, Wind & Fire's "Brazilian Rhyme". It was later sampled in Ariana Grande's "The Way". Big Pun passed away from a heart attack in 2000 at the age of just 28. At the time of his death he weighed almost 700 pounds. 35. Ghetto Supastar - Pras Michel feat. Ol' Dirty Bastard & MyaBorn in Brooklyn and raised in Irvington, New Jersey, Prakazrel Michel was a member of the Fugees before going solo. His biggest hit came in 1998 with "Ghetto Supastar" which features Ol' Dirty Bastard & Mya. From the soundtrack to the movie Bulworth, It was an international smash, topping the charts in nine countries. In the US, it peaked at #19 on the rap chart, #8 on the R&B chart, and #15 on the Hot 100. Samples "Islands In The Stream" by Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton, and received a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Performance By a Duo Or Group. Pras was indicted by the US Department Of Justice in 2019 for his part in an alleged conspiracy with Malaysian financier Jho Low, accused of aiding an illegal scheme to raise money for President Barack Obama during his 2012 reelection campaign. 34. Got Your Money - Ol' Dirty Bastard feat. KelisBorn in Brooklyn, Russell Jones got his start forming a group with his cousins RZA and GZA called Force Of The Imperial Master, which they renamed to All In Together Now. After adding six more members they changed their name again to Wu-Tang Clan. ODB eventually went solo and notably worked with Mariah Carey on the remix to "Fantasy". His 1999 single "Got Your Money", featuring Kelis, peaked at #6 on the rap chart, #19 on the R&B chart and #33 on the Hot 100. Produced and co-written by The Neptunes. Fun fact: ODB, RZA, and GZA are cousins with Flavor Flav. ODB passed away in 2004 from a drug overdose, just two days before his 36th birthday. 32. Quiet Storm - Mobb Deep feat. Lil KimFormed in NYC, Mobb Deep consisted of Havoc (Kejuan Machita) and Prodigy (Albert Johnson) and were originally known as Prodigal Prophets. Their 1999 single "Quiet Storm" was the lead single from their album Murda Muzik. The remix was on the soundtrack to the movie In Too Deep and features Lil Kim, who took a dig at Foxy Brown. It peaked at #17 on the rap chart and #35 on the R&B chart. Samples "White Lines" by Grandmaster Flash & Melle Mel and "Quiet Storm" by Smokey Robinson. Here's the original version of "Quiet Storm". Ugh I feel sooo behind. :'( Gonna try to play catch up. 95. Romeo And Juliet - Sylk-E Fyne feat. Chill: I was kinda mixed on this song. I liked some parts of it, moreso the female rapper but then didn't really care for the male rapper. Ranked this at #84 but I'm fine with this ranking for it. 94. Getto Jam - Domino: Pleased with another low rank going, this time my #88. I didn't know this song beforehand and it's nice but didn't really standout amongst the songs on this list. 93. Flow Joe - Fat Joe: I really like Fat Joe but wasn't really aware of this song so this was new to me. It wasn't a big standout for me as I ranked it at #91. I like his 2000s stuff much more but it was nice to be introduced to this. Interesting how there were no Top half rankings for this. 92. Pop Goes The Weasel - 3rd Bass: I liked this well enough to rank it at #66. I thought this would have ranked higher for me overall but I ended up liking more songs than I expected ovre this. Wish this made it higher but not devastated with this ranking. 91. Tha Block Is Hot - Lil Wayne: Ahh I think this was the song that introduced me to Lil Wayne. So it's kinda special and holds a place in my heart for that, lol. But this song is a pretty fun jam that I liked enough to rank at #59. Farfrom my favorite from Lil Wayne but not one of my least faves from him either. 90. Nann - Trick Daddy feat. Trina: This song was kinda fun and silly, lol. I am mixed on Trick Daddy's parts where I kinda liked and disliked his parts here. But I did really enjoy Trina here. I liked this enough to rank it at #75. 89. We Trying To Stay Alive - Wyclef Jean: Ughh not me being the only one to rank this in their top half rankings and placing this at #45. Dangg me. Ugh no but I am sad to see this showing up already. Not my very favorite from Wyclef but this is still such a catchy and fun jam. :( 88. Ain't Gonna Hurt Nobody - Kid N' Play: Aww noo kinda sad to see this showing up now as I ranked this at #53. Not a song I was super duper familiar with but it's a really fun and enjoyable song. I do like and enjoy this anytime I listen to this - and feel I should listen to this more often. Wow I never knew that House Party was originally intended for DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince, but I could totally see that at that time back then, lol. 87. We're All In The Same Gang - The West Coast Rap All-Stars: Ooh wow I ranked this at #92... and I don't really know why, lol. This song has a cool and good sound to it but it's not a song I really know that well. This was new to me so didn't really have time to standout to me. Maybe I could appreciate this more if I heard this more. 86. Tootsee Roll - 69 Boyz: OMGG not the highest SD showing up already, dangg. But ugh nooo, I am not surprised that it's "Tootsee Roll" but I'm sad to see this show up already as this is my #23. :'( Gahh not surprised as I expected this song to be really polarizing here. I'm glad there are some high rankings here at least. But yikes at 10 rankings in the Bottom 8 rankings.... booo at that. :'( This song always makes me jam and dance! 85. Real Muthaphuckkin G's - Eazy-E: Oooh snapp, I think this is my first perfect rank that I got here. Ranked this at #85 so I'm fine with this showing up here. Cool and enjoyable song but not really a standout to me. 84. Ruffneck - MC Lyte: Omggg me being the highest ranker for this at #41, hahaha. Ugh booo, so sad seeing this showing up already. I do really like/love this and think this is such a cool, fun and catchy jam. The chorus is everything, so fun and catchy! Wish this could have ranked higher. 83. Got Me Waiting - Heavy D & The Boyz: This is a really cool and fun jam from Heavy D. I'm kinda surprised I ranked this at #61 as I thought I had this higher lol. But I do really like this and the feel of it. 82. Bling Bling - B.G.: Ooh wow I'm kinda surprised this made it this high as I thought this would rank lower. I was definitely familiar with this song and heard this quite often when it was out. I do like this but never really loved it - but like it enough to rank it at #73. 81. Mr. Wendal - Arrested Development: Oooh yess, I lose my #100 right before the Top 80. Very nicee. Again, not sure why I ranked this last but at the time, it wasn't really doing anything for me. It's a cool and decent song but it just didn't click with me? But still think I maybe should have ranked it a few spots higher but oh well.

I guess you folks like "Islands In The Stream" way more than I do, because the chorus of "Ghetto Supastar" being based on that cheesy-ass song drags it down a bunch for me

Now that "Ghetto Supastar" is gone, next song that really needs to be ushered out is "Can I Get A..." Jay-Z had several better songs in the 90s imo

Time to catch up on 20 more songs! 80. They Want EFX - Das EFX: Oooh nicee way to start this off with my #96 showing up here. I didn't really care for this that much. And ooh two songs in a row where I'm the lowest rank lol. 79. You Can't Play With My Yo-Yo - Yo-Yo feat. Ice Cube: Oooh ugh I was just one spot away from a perfect rank as this was my #80. Dang just one spot off. Anywho, this was cool, fun but not a song I was that familiar with. I think if I heard this more, this would have ranked higher for me. 78. Monie In The Middle - Monie Love: This song was cool and I liked it well enough to rank it at #72. It didn't stand out too much overall but still liked it. 77. Ditty - Paperboy: Yesss another Bottom 10 goes, this time my #98. I don't know this song but it didn't really do anything or stand out for me when listening to these songs. It's okay. 76. Treat 'Em Right - Chubb Rock: This song is really fun and I really liked the fun sound of this... but then ooh oops me ranking this at #89. I don't know why I did that as I thought I would have ranked it higher. I guess I didn't care much for this while ranking it. 75. Call Me D-Nice - D-Nice: Niceee now my #99 shows up. Really happy that lots of my very low rankings are starting to show up. This is alright but just didn't do much to stand out to me. 74. Born And Raised In Compton - DJ Quik: Oooh yess now my #97 shows up. Wow I am really on a row with my lower ranks showing up. I feel it's going to end soon but I hope this streak keeps going lol. This was a song I was not familiar with. This is alright but didn't do much for me. 73. Party Ain't a Party - Queen Pen: Ugh dang, I knew my streak was going to end soon. Oh well, I do really like this and like it enough to rank it at #60. This song has such a fun party feel to it that I really enjoy here. 72. Step Into a World (Rapper's Delight) - KRS-One: This is pretty cool and I liked it well enough to rank it at #69. I like the sound of this and really like the interpolation of Blondie's "Rapture". 71. I'll Do 4 U - Father MC: Oooh niceee, I got another perfect rank here at #71. I was surprised this ranked so low for me. It's another song I wasn't familiar with or knew, but I did really like the sound of this. This is fun, catchy and enjoyable. Although wow it's crazy to believe that Mary J. Blige was an unknown singer doing backup vocals on this but she helped me like this even more, haha. 70. Men In Black - Will Smith: Ughh dangg after soo many of my lower ranks showing up, I knew I was due for one of my higher ranks showing up. This is my #28 and I do really love this jam. It's such a fun, catchy and enjoyable jam from Will Smith. Although I do wish "Getting Jiggy Wit It" was represented here instead as that very well could have been in my Top 10. 69. Deja Vu (Uptown Baby) - Lord Tariq & Peter Gunz: Ughhh nooo, not my flop era starting to come back, ugh. Dangg I think this is the first Top 10 of mine I lost, which is my #9? Dangg, I absolutely loved and was all about this song when it was out. This song has such a great, fun anthemic feel to it. So catchy and yeah I just love the feel of this. It's a shame their rap career as a duo was so short because this song was just everywhere. Yay for no Bottom 10 ranks and a bigger YAY for American Idiot for ranking this at #6. 68. Get Money - Junior M.A.F.I.A.: Aww sad to see this show up as this was my #40, though not as sad about this showing up as the other two. I do still love this and think this such a cool and enjoyable jam! 67. Down With The King - Run-DMC: Okay finally a song in the 70-61 set that I'm good with showing up now, haha. This was my #94 and re-listening to this now, I kinda wish I had it ranked a little higher. I don't really know this so it wasn't a huge stand out. But it's cool. I do like some parts more than other parts. 66. Money Ain't a Thang - Jermaine Dupri feat. Jay-Z: Ughh nooo, I figured I was gonna get another bad update here, ugh. So sad seeing this show up as this was my #17. Absolutely loved this song and I was so into this when it was out in 1998. One of my very earliest memories of JD and Jay-Z. Just... such a jam here! Also woww at me being the only ranker to place this in the Top 25. 65. Afro Puffs - The Lady Of Rage feat. Snoop Dogg: Oooh awww I do love this song but awww sad to see that I only ranked this at #49. This is such a fun and catchy jam! I do really love the chorus and think it's so catchy. 64. Up Jumps Da Boogie - Timbaland & Magoo: Oooh? Whoa this song has the 2nd highest SD? Wow I don't know why but that really shocks me. I didn't realize this would be so polarizing. I do really like this and think this song is such a jam, where I do like it enough to rank it at #54. I do prefer much more from Timbaland but he can hardly do wrong for me. 63. I Seen a Man Die - Scarface: Oooh this was quite a deep and emotional song, where I do feel quite bad ranking this at #86. It's a nice and emotional sentiment but I just didn't really know this and it didn't stand out as much to me as some other songs. 62. Sometimes I Rhyme Slow - Nice & Smooth: I liked the sound of this as it had a smooth and cool sound to it, where I liked it enough to rank it at #76. Not a major favorite. 61. 911 Is a Joke - Public Enemy: Another cool and enjoyable jam that I'm not really that familiar with, but I liked it enough to rank it at #70. I liked other songs more from Public Enemy.

Welcome back! Leading off today's reveals is a song that has four Top 10s, the most of any reveal so far. It also has two bottom 20s.
