If anyone's curious, the predictors were pretty close. Comparing this to @lippredicts' Twitter prediction, the real numbers are maybe a little bit tighter due to SZA's airplay numbers...probably around a 10 point gap when all is said and done.

Well, she did it. I feel I should be more enthusiastic than I am. Also crazy to think that if the chart impact of Christmas didn’t exist or Flowers’s release was delayed a week all of this wouldn’t have happened. Or had quite a few close calls with Anti-Hero or Last Night gone the other way either this remix also wouldn’t exist. Not to discredit all the work done by this song, but it also really got extremely lucky with LN having a streaming slump this past week. Had LN replicated last week’s numbers of 36.5m, Morgan would have held on by the skin of his teeth. And that might have meant more remixes. |

Kill Bill finally goes #1 like 3 months after I thought it would, better late than never I guess. The interesting question now is whether Kill Bill will be the YE #1 or YE #2.

Everyone except the Morgan Wallen fanboys. I would like to think a lot of them like Sza too 😂 I imagine Morgan’s fanbase is very different from that of any other artist who hit #1 in the past 10 years or so. |
