35. Low - Flo Rida feat. T-PainBorn in Miami Gardens, Florida, Tramar Dillard started out as a member of a group called GroundHoggz. Rapper Fresh Kid Ice, formerly of 2 Live Crew, later took him under his wing. He eventually landed a record deal with Poe Boy Entertainment which was distributed by Atlantic, and in 2007 released his debut single "Low". Featuring T-Pain, it topped the rap and Hot 100 charts, peaked at #9 on the R&B chart, finished as Billboard's top single for 2008, and was the top-selling digital single of the 2000s decade. The song also hit #1 in Australia, Canada, Ireland, and New Zealand, and appeared on the soundtrack to the movie Step Up 2: The Streets. 34. Good Times - StylesBorn in the Corona section of Queens, David Styles rose to prominence as a member of The L.O.X., taking on the name Styles P. The group first signed with Bad Boy, but wanted to leave after feeling that the label's image conflicted with their own. It was only after Styles threw a chair at Puffy that they were granted their release, and they signed with Ruff Ryders. Styles released his solo debut album A Gangster And a Gentleman in 2002. The lead single "Good Times" peaked at #8 on the rap chart, #6 on the R&B chart, and #22 on the Hot 100. An ode to marijuana, it samples "I Get High (On Your Memory)" by Freda Payne. Not-so-fun fact: Styles supported T**** during his 2020 re-election campaign. 33. Still Tippin' - Mike Jones feat. Slim Thug & Paul WallBorn in Houston, Michael Jones started out as a member of the group Souf Folk under the name Sache. He later went solo and started his own label Ice Age Entertainment. He soon caught then attention of the label Swishahouse, and in 2004 released the single "Still Tippin'". Featuring Slim Thug and Paul Wall, it peaked at #14 on the rap chart and #26 on the Hot 100. The version on Mike's album Who Is Mike Jones? is actually a remix of the original version that had Mike, Slim Thug, and Chamillionaire. Mike took Chamillionaire out of the song after the two had a falling out, and got Paul Wall to record a verse. Here's the original version of "Still Tippin'". I knew this would be my first top 10 out. Don't know how anyone could rank this bottom 20, though.

35. Low - Flo Rida feat. T-Pain: Ugh noooo, NOT a good first reveal for me of the night as this is my #3 showing up. Absolutely LOVE this song so much. It's so fun, catchy, addicting and would just never leave my head. This was my favorite song of 2008 and I just could not get enough of it. While Flo Rida has had so many hits throughout his career, nothing has ever topped this for me as this still stands out as my favorite song. I wish this could have made it higher but still glad it made it this far, at least. 34. Good Times - Styles: Okay well this is much better now that one of my lower ranks show up. This is my #66 so it's a song that I do really like and enjoy. Just not a super huge favorite but I've always enjoyed listening to this. Oh I had no idea he was a Trump supporter. That's disappointing lol. This song is still a jam and I do love the sample use here. 33. Still Tippin' - Mike Jones feat. Slim Thug & Paul Wall: Omg LOL I thought I had ranked this lower than #89 and thought for sure that I was the one that was the Bottom 10 ranking for this song. OK I put it a little higher than that. I didn't expect this to rank so high. Hmm I definitely remember when this song was out. It's okay and fine. Sometimes I liked it more than other times but never was a big fan of it. I enjoy these guys on other songs. Oh and wow had no idea that Chamillionaire was on the original version. And regarding Mike Jones, I do much prefer and really like "Back Then." That song was such a jam and something I would have ranked much higher. Not surprised that this has the 3rd highest SD as I feel it would have been pretty polarizing. But the 7 Top 20 rankings for this is pretty impressive. 32. Slow Motion - Juvenile feat. Soulja Slim: LMAO you can't be serious.... I ranked this song at #31 but it comes in just a spot lower at #32. So I am one spot away from a perfect ranking? Lmaoo I'm just not meant to get a perfect rank here huh? Anywho, this is such a smooth and chill jam. I really like/love this from Juvenile. I think this is my favorite of his of the 2000s, but then I can't think of what else stood out from him this decade? "Back That Thang Up" still remains my overall favorite song of his. Nice that this song doesn't have any Bottom 20 rankings. Wow and that's such a sad and tragic story of Soulja Slim... I wasn't aware of his death. :'( 31. Hip Hop Is Dead - Nas feat. will.i.am: Ooh dear, I feel so bad ranking this song so low at #84 while everyone else has this at least within their Top 63 or so, lmaoo. Anywho, I do like this song. But it's sooo far away from one of my favorites from Nas. Of just his 2000s music, I do prefer a number of other songs from him such as: "You Owe Me," "Got UrSelf A...," "One Mic," "I Can" more and would have ranked those higher than where I ranked this song. I'm curious to see how I'm doing of this Top 30. I got the remaining numbers left. 1, 2, 5, 7, 8, 9 11, 13, 14, 16, 20 23, 27, 28 41, 42, 47, 48, 49, 50 61, 64 71, 76, 79 81, 82, 86, 87 94 Hmm, I got 11 of my Top 20 left, 14 of my Top 30, 20 of my Top 50 left. Then 10 of my Bottom 50 left as well as one of my Bottom 10 still remaining.

A solid Top 30 outside of Country Grammar which needs to go and Forever which is alright but a bit overhyped imo

29. Forever - DrakeBorn in Toronto, Aubrey Drake Graham first rose to fame as Jimmy Brooks on Degrassi: The Next Generation. Later turning to music, he released a few mixtapes before signing with Lil Wayne's Young Money label. His 2009 single "Forever" was released from the soundtrack to the LeBron James documentary More Than a Game. Featuring Kanye West, Lil Wayne, and Eminem, it topped the rap chart and peaked at #2 on the R&B chart and #8 on the Hot 100. Reportedly Kanye and Lil Wayne went back and rewrote their verses after hearing Eminem's. Fun fact: singer and bassist Larry Graham is Drake's uncle. 27. Flamboyant - Big LBorn in Harlem, Lamont Coleman started out as a member of the group Three The Hard Way which later became Two Hard Motherfuckers when one of the members left. He was also a member of the collectives Diggin' In The Crates which included Fat Joe and Children Of The Corn which included Cam'ron and Mase. Big L eventually signed with Columbia, releasing just one album during his lifetime. In 1999 he was shot nine times in a drive-by and died at the age of just 24. Even though an arrest had been made, his murder is still unsolved. "Flamboyant" was released posthumously in 2000. It topped the rap chart and peaked at #39 on the R&B chart. 30. Roc The Mic - Beanie Sigel & Freeway: A little surprised this made it so high but I'm not that mad about it. But also good with this showing up now. I do really like this song and am sad I was only able to put it at #76, but that just goes to show you how many songs I really liked/loved here. This is a fun jam. It has that sick beat and a great feel to it. Also I've been having this song come in my head here and there for weeks for some reason, lmao. 29. Forever - Drake: Yayy the 1000 point mark! Also kinda surprised seeing this making it so high. I did rank this at #47, so I do really like this and think it's a great jam. I enjoy what all of the rappers bring on this track. Although regarding Drake's 2000s music, I would have preferred having "Best I Ever Had" here, which I could have ranked really high. Ooh and a #97 ranking for this is kinda surprising. 28. Get By - Talib Kweli: Ooh wow this song having the 5th highest SD. This is actually a really good and very solid song so I get this making it so high here. I feel bad ranking it so low at #79 but that was just due to lack of familiarity/listening to this over the years. I was aware of it but it's not a song I listened to regularly, but it's still good with a good beat and rapping. 27. Flamboyant - Big L: Ooh wow at this having the 4th highest SD. But yayy this was my lowest ranking remaining, as this was my #94, so I was hoping for this to show up. I'm not too familiar with this song or Big L, but this song was just okay/fine to me. I'm not really familiar with this and it didn't really stand out to me, hence the lower ranking. But yeah not familiar with Big L so I wasn't aware of his passing.... and ugh shot 9 times in a drive-by at 24? That's terribly sad. :'( 26. Oooh yayy so pleased to lose another low ranking, this time my #86 of "Break Ya Neck." Hmm this song is alright but also kinda annoying to me sometimes? I like it sometimes too. But overall it's fine but not really a favorite of mine. I did prefer a number of other Busta songs in the 2000s, with songs such as "Pass the Courvoisier, Part II," "Make It Clap" (particularly the remix), "I Know What You Want" or "Touch It" (again, particularly the remix) - all of which I would have ranked much higher than this song.

Raise Up - Petey deleted: That beat is nasty. lol.
Ugly - Bubba Sparxxx: It still sounds good today. I didn't realize Tweet was on it until a year or so ago. Oh and sometimes I play this and "Get Ur Freak On" back to back.
Get By - Talib Kweli: I've always enjoyed the Nina Simone sample and the hook.
Music - Erick Sermon f/ Marvin Gaye: It takes me back to the summer of 2001.
The Jump Off - Lil' Kim f/ Mr. Cheeks: Fun to rap along to, especially the hook.
