1991 Country Rankdown (Complete)

Welcome back y'all as we take another step back in time with another round of '90s nostalgia! With only one more year-end rankdown to complete after this (1995), the time has come to officially launch 1991! As some of you may remember, it has taken well over three years to finally get to this point in time and thus has been a long time coming.
Country music experienced a dynamic and transformative year in 1991 which was characterized by the emergence of new stars, chart-topping hits, historic achievements, and the recognition of female artists. The year showcased the genre's ability to evolve while retaining its core elements, setting the stage for future developments in the country music landscape all the while showcasing its unique blend of traditional country elements with a modern sound. The genre witnessed the emergence of several memorable hits that became timeless classics such as "Don't Rock the Jukebox," "The Thunder Rolls," and "She's in Love with the Boy" just to name a few.
The year also saw the release of landmark albums including "Ropin' the Wind" by Garth Brooks which made history by becoming the first country album to debut at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, solidifying Brooks' status as a superstar in the genre. Other notable albums included "Brand New Man" by Brooks & Dunn and "No Fences" by Garth Brooks, both of which achieved commercial success and introduced fresh sounds to the country music scene.
The songs included for the rankdown were compiled using both Billboard and Radio & Records Year-End Country chart along with other hits that did not manage to make either of those lists as they were released later on in the calendar year. I was able to narrow down the list making it a bit more manageable for the purposes of conducting a year-end rankdown of this size. I have included playlists for both Apple Music and Spotify which include all but six songs four of which are by Garth Brooks. However, thanks to castleoblivion26 , I have provided a link to a listening page he created for Garth's artist rankdown which provides audio for all of those songs (you'll have to scroll down on the page to find them).
I'm providing just over two months to complete this, so that should be more than enough time to knock this out! Please make sure to PM me with your songs ranked from #1 (your favorite) down to #100 (your least favorite).
