1. Which song will come out on top at #1? As I said in another thread, folks here are a lot different from me, but I'ma guess "Don't Rock the Jukebox"
2. What songs will be making a run for a Top 5 position? The Thunder Rolls, She's in Love With the Boy, Fancy, Brand New Man 3. Which other songs will be jostling for a Top 10 showing? Small Town Saturday Night, Here's a Quarter (Call Someone Who Cares), Rodeo 4. What song will come in at last place at #100? Since I Don't Have You (?)
5. Which other songs might be showing up in the Bottom 10? Leap of Faith, Walk on Faith (do you folks even remember Lionel or Mike Reid) 6. What song will place higher?
“Chasin’ That Neon Rainbow” or "Don't Rock the Jukebox” Juke Box
“If I Know Me” or “You Know Me Better Than That” You Know Me Better Than That
“The Thunder Rolls” or “Unanswered Prayers” The Thunder Rolls
“Liza Jane” or “Never Knew Lonely” Liza Jane
“Put Yourself in My Place” or “Put Yourself in My Shoes” Shoes
7. Which number-one hit will bow out first? Last? 1st. Leap of Faith (victim of not being streamable, assuming it still is) Last. Don't Rock the Jukebox
8. What artist/group will be the first to exit with multiple songs? Uhh Lorrie Morgan
9. What artist/group will be the last remaining with multiple songs? Alan Jackson
10. Any thoughts or comments on the year 1991 in Country Music? As stated, the year I graduated high school. These are my jams. The class of 89 in full swing + Chesnutt and Diffie. Pam Tillis is underrated. Jake was a good dog.

We can now officially welcome taylor is terrified into the fold! Now, the destiny of every song rests with LBTrocks , for better or for worse . Legitimately love when he goes last, Chaos reigns supreme! 1. Which song will come out on top at #1?
There's a few I can see but I get a feeling it may be a surprise. I feel like "Fancy" will have some detractors, we know Garth will, I don't feel super confident in an Alan song though "Jukebox" feels right for a top spot. I think nobody really hates "She's In Love With The Boy" enough to tank it so I think that's going to be our number one. 2. What songs will be making a run for a Top 5 position?"Fancy", "Don't Rock The Jukebox", "Brand New Man". I'd think George should be in the conversation for sure. Just not sure which the voters will choose to send this high, I know which one I want! 3. Which other songs will be jostling for a Top 10 showing"?"Here's A Quarter", "If I Know Me", "Rumor Has It", "Don't Tell Me What To Do", "Meet In The Middle", "You Know Me Better Than That". 4. What song will come in at last place at #100? Gonna second "Since I Don't Have You", I feel Ronnie overall will struggle. 5. Which other songs might be showing up in the Bottom 10?I don't have confidence in guessing this as there's a distinct voting pattern in most rankdowns when people aren't familiar with the songs. This being songs from 32 years ago, I think there's going to be a lot of unfamiliarity. I knew all the songs so it's hard for me to know what will connect without nostalgia. 6. What song will place higher? “Chasin’ That Neon Rainbow” or "Don't Rock the Jukebox”“If I Know Me” or “You Know Me Better Than That” “The Thunder Rolls” or “Unanswered Prayers” “Liza Jane” or “Never Knew Lonely”“Put Yourself in My Place” or “Put Yourself in My Shoes” 7. Which number-one hit will bow out first? Last?I'd have to consult which were the number one's which I cannot do atm lol (may come edit this answer) 8. What artist/group will be the first to exit with multiple songs?I can see Doug Stone or Ronnie Milsap going out first. 9. What artist/group will be the last remaining with multiple songs?Since I guessed Trisha winning I'll say her. 10. Any thoughts or comments on the year 1991 in Country Music?Such a great year, some residual sounds from the 80's crept through, but for the most part this is the heart of 90's country to me. I'm fully expecting some favorites to be cut early but I stand by my list

1. Which song will come out on top at #1?
I agree that "She's In Love With The Boy" is a safe guess. It's hard to say in a rankdown that is this relatively unfamiliar if overplay will work for or against a song, but I'm inclined to think the familiarity will help.
2. What songs will be making a run for a Top 5 position?
"She's In Love With The Boy", "Rumor Has It", "If I Know Me", "Brand New Man", "Don't Rock The Jukebox".
3. Which other songs will be jostling for a Top 10 showing? "One Of Those Things", "Fancy", "The Thunder Rolls", "Fallin' Out Of Love", "Anymore", "Don't Tell Me What To Do", "Meet In The Middle", "Chasin' That Neon Rainbow", "Down To My Last Teardrop". (There are going to be a LOT of top-10-worthy songs that miss out, as per usual for these '90s rankdowns!)
4. What song will come in at last place at #100? Something by a lesser-known artist. Like maybe The Forester Sisters' "Men"?
5. Which other songs might be showing up in the Bottom 10? "Life's Little Ups And Downs", "The Walk", at least one Billy Dean song, "Put Yourself In My Shoes", "You've Got To Stand For Something"... It's really hard to say, since there also usually aren't a whole lot of songs that deserve bottom 10 in these '90s rankdowns! 6. What song will place higher?
“Chasin’ That Neon Rainbow” or "Don't Rock the Jukebox” (I could see both contending for the top 5, and "Rainbow" is the one I'm rooting for of the two! But "Jukebox" feels like the crowd favorite.) “If I Know Me” or “You Know Me Better Than That” (I feel like "If I Know Me" has stood the test of time a little better than George's other songs from this year. They're all going to do well, possibly even all top 30! But I don't really see him getting multiple songs in the top 10 like he easily could in like 1995 or 1996.) “The Thunder Rolls” or “Unanswered Prayers” (I feel like "The Thunder Rolls" is like the one song that is not entirely at the mercy of the Garth Brooks Curse in Pulse rankdowns! I wouldn't even be surprised to see it top 10! But it better be at least top 20...) “Liza Jane” or “Never Knew Lonely” (Vince didn't put me to sleep with his ballads this year, but I'm still inclined to think that Peppy Vince will usually have the advantage ) “Put Yourself in My Place” or “Put Yourself in My Shoes” (Both songs are complete filler, but historically Pam's worst songs don't usually perform as badly as Clint's worst songs.)
7. Which number-one hit will bow out first? Last?
Gurl nobody knows what hit #1 and what didn't! 😂
8. What artist/group will be the first to exit with multiple songs? Possibly Ricky Van Shelton? Unless the Dolly duet keeps him in the running juuuuust long enough. Maybe Dwight Yoakam?
9. What artist/group will be the last remaining with multiple songs? This one's easy. Queen REBA!!!! I'm not confident in any of her songs' ability to win, but she could potentially have multiple songs in the top 10! Although Alan may sneak in there too!
10. Any thoughts or comments on the year 1991 in Country Music? This may be an unpopular opinion, but I would be absolutely ECSTATIC if "Fallin' Out Of Love" somehow manages to compete with Reba's other songs for a spot in the top 10... It is an absolute masterpiece of a song I expect "Rumor Has It" to be her easiest path to the top 10, and then "Fancy" may or may not even make the top 10 because it's just polarizing enough. But "Fallin' Out Of Love" is juuuuust mysterious enough to where I could see it finishing anywhere between like #10 and #50, lol. It absolutely deserves a spot in at least the top 20, where Reba's most beloved hits usually land, imo...

1. Which song will come out on top at #1? This is most likely "She's In Love With the Boy"'s to lose.
2. What songs will be making a run for a Top 5 position? "Small Town Saturday Night", "Don't Rock the Jukebox", "Hurt Me Bad (In a Real Good Way)", and "Love Can Build a Bridge"?
3. Which other songs will be jostling for a Top 10 showing? "Brother Jukebox", "If I Know Me", "Brand New Man", maybe "Don't Tell Me What to Do" and "We Both Walk"?
4. What song will come in at last place at #100? Hopefully "Since I Don't Have You", although I'm not super familiar with 90s Ronnie Milsap. Not sure what else might end up last since most of us get surprised with the actual result.
5. Which other songs might be showing up in the Bottom 10? "Lucky Moon", "Can I Count on You", "Are You Lovin' Me Like I'm Lovin' You", "Lord Have Mercy on a Country Boy", not sure what else?
6. What song will place higher?
“Chasin’ That Neon Rainbow” or "Don't Rock the Jukebox”
“If I Know Me” or “You Know Me Better Than That”
“The Thunder Rolls” or “Unanswered Prayers”
“Liza Jane” or “Never Knew Lonely” (one will probably be slightly higher than the other I think)
“Put Yourself in My Place” or “Put Yourself in My Shoes”
7. Which number-one hit will bow out first? "Life's Little Ups and Downs" Last? "She's in Love with the Boy"
8. What artist/group will be the first to exit with multiple songs? Ronnie Milsap (didn't like either of those songs)
9. What artist/group will be the last remaining with multiple songs? George Strait
10. Any thoughts or comments on the year 1991 in Country Music? Like I mentioned earlier, '91 may not be the most memorable from the 90s era, but there are plenty of great moments from that year.

Lionel is mostly forgotten these days and the other one hit wonder “walk on Faith” feels like it’ll appeal more. Funny both have “Faith” in the title.

AW man, I really hope "Leap of Faith" can at least dodge the bottom 10, if not bottom 20. That was a very solid track that I hope people didn't look over since the studio version wasn't available for streaming.

Good Sunday evening, y'all! It's about time I brushed off my boots and straightened my cowboy hat as it's been over six months since my previous stint hosting a rankdown. Let's not delay any longer and kick things off, shall we? Here's what you can anticipate as we delve into the bottom 10: - Although nobody ranked the first song to exit in last place, six participants shed a bottom 5
- The bottom 10 includes not only solo male and female artists but also a duo and one or more groups
- One participant will lose a top 10 ranking, while two others will lose their top 15 rankings
- A total of ten participants will see their last-place exit within the bottom 10
- The song with the lowest standard deviation will be revealed

The first song to exit the rankdown only secured two rankings in the top half, with one of them being a lone top 30. Apart from its initial placement just outside the bottom 10, the song consistently resided in the bottom 5 throughout its entire chart run.

"Heart Full of Love" was released in January 1991 as the second single and title track from the album Heart Full of Love. The song reached #19 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart, marking Holly's last appearance in the country charts' top 20. Apart from its initial placement just outside the bottom 10, the song consistently resided in the bottom 5 throughout its entire chart run. This is partly attributed to the song receiving twelve rankings in the bottom 20, with half of them landing in the bottom 5. In fact, it only secured two rankings within the top half, one of which was a top 30 placement from 🌺CountryLineDancer. Although I didn't anticipate this song being the first to depart, I'm not surprised by its low rankings, as the production sounds somewhat dated compared to the rest. While the song didn't make it onto any year-end charts, I wanted to include this because it marked Holly's last appearance in the top 20 on the country charts.

"These Lips Don't Know How to Say Goodbye" was recorded by Doug Stone and released in October 1990 as the third single from his self-titled debut album. The song reached number 5 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart. The song was actually first recorded by The Forester Sisters for their 1988 album Sincerely. Regrettably for 🌺CountryLineDancer, two top-30 rankings are lost right from the start, both of them ending up in the bottom 2. Similar to "Heart Full of Love," this song only garnered two top-half rankings, with most participants positioning it in their bottom 20. Out of those, seven ranked it in their bottom 10, and I'm the first to bid farewell to my last-place song. This song was also near the bottom of my list because I find it to be quite forgettable and it fails to capture my attention.

Originally recorded and released by Charlie Rich in 1969, Ricky Van Shelton covered the song on his third studio album, RVS III. His version of the song was released in October 1990 as the final single from that album and peaked at #4. Similar to the two preceding songs, this one remained inside the bottom 10 for most of its run, with many participants placing it in their bottom 20. Unfortunately, nathanalbright is the first participant to lose a top 10 ranking, while two others lose a top-half ranking.

"Since I Don't Have You" was originally recorded by the doo-wop group The Skyliners in 1958 and has since been covered by numerous artists from various genres over the years. One of the most famous covers was recorded by Guns N' Roses in 1993 where it reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. Ronnie Milsap's version was a number 6 hit on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart in 1991 and was released from his album Back to the Grindstone. Although it nearly reached the top 5 on the country charts, this song didn't perform as strongly here, spending most of its run around or within the bottom 10. Eleven participants in all lose a bottom 20 with kw9461, Cody Wants Out..., and LBTrocks all losing their last place. Additionally, following a recent loss in the top 10, nathanalbright now loses a ranking that was close to the top 20.
