Definitely disappointed. The song also has more of a “summer” vibe. The visuals are good but I wonder if it wouldn’t have worked better for June/August as opposed to fall.

James Blake who's at his biggest commercially ever right now just released an alienating, ambitious electronic album completely different from his last release. Switching up his sound so much in such a short period of time and not even trying to make it commercially appealing in any way makes be appreciate the man even more

Not that it will have much chart impact if any at all but stream the new Tinashe album, its just 7 songs and barely over 20 mins of slayage.

Let me pray she gets her moment but thankfully Doechii gots hers this year and Victoria Monét did just debut a song on her own so maybe there is a chance.

Wow, that's really surprising, and he seemed to mostly have a squeaky clean image!

Anyway, I think BONGOS is fun, and of course the video is fire!

From first listen, I also like most of the Olivia album, maybe even better than SOUR.

Definitely liked Sour more than Guts (on the first listen obviously), but still a strong album

What a whelming Friday. Guts is good but nowhere near as first listen gold as Sour was, and Bongos is good but nowhere near as catchy or zeitgeist grabbing as WAP was.

It was a pretty good 9/8 IMO. I actually like Guts more than Sour. Hopefully streaming pushes their hand with the correct next single. Bongos doesn't give us that WAP moment, but it's really fun.

Tinashe, Roisin and Mariah all served though. Won't see any of that on the charts, but the best music seems to exist permanently outside of the charts these days.

Olivia's new album absolutely rocks! I love the 90s grunge vibes, so many more great rock and alternative songs compared to the boring ballads that were on Sour. Nice to see her evolve into a full rock artist.

Female rappers never had much longevity in the music industry and it's even worse now because the market is so oversaturated with female rappers that they rarely remain relevant for more than three or four years. Cardi and Megan are old news, rap music fans have already moved on to other female rappers. It's no surprise that their collab is flopping hard.

I think a lot of people were expecting a sequel to WAP, and Bongos just isn't that. It's a sequel in terms of the artists involved but it's just another song, it isn't a cultural reset like WAP was.

Bongos honestly reminds me a lot of Travis Scott's K-Pop, another huge collaboration everyone was expecting more from but came out mediocre.
