Maybe but also the cuts that sounded like they came from the Midnights Sessions...well they sound like leftovers. And typically, the vault songs have a high standard so disappointing only 2 really stood out.

I Hope Style goes top 5 so it can get past the OG #6 peak. It doesn’t have the pure pop Max Martin feel that made the song such a favorite though, so it may underperform Blank Space this week.

I always enjoy the lead up to a new TV version than when they are actually released and they leave me underwhelmed..

Vault tracks sound like rejects and the overall re-recording is either equal or worse (Style TV).. anyway will be fun to see the damage this does to the charts

I guess it depends on what Spotify says tomorrow about today's numbers, but it looks like Style and Wildest TV will "debut" highest among the re-recordings. Beyond that, it will be interesting to see how the "From the Vault" songs do to get an idea if those might end up debuting above them.

Wildest Dream TV is not a debut as it was released more than two years ago.

So I believe they count all these TV tracks as new songs for Hot 100 purposes. But do they also separate the airplay for the original vs TV, or will all airplay points go to the new version?

I’m not sure exactly how songs are identified for audience impressions, if it’s some sort of automated listening process like Shazam on a huge scale, I could imagine it being difficult to sort out which version is being played. Or maybe the tech is super fine tuned idk.

So, how 1989 might fare compared to this is anyone's guess. Keep in mind that competition is VERY low now, with only two songs in the final predictions for the latest week expected to clear 200 points (Cruel Summer and Paint The Town Red), and the #10 song coming in at only about 125 points. Yes, it being just another TV, it might not do as well as if it were a completely new era, but hype for her is higher than ever now, so there's reason to expect demand for at least the newer vault tracks to be near or just about as high as a new album (there not being a clear radio single might hurt a bit though), but I think 5-7 songs in the top 10 should be very doable.

I don't hate it but it's definitely album filler and was rightfully cut from the original.

After few listens I can say that all TV songs is kinda decent but nothing wow looking back at all singles from original (so I hope that Style/Space can overtake vault tracks). Anyway, all these songs can easily replace majority songs from Midnights. Also this TV album feels much less updated compares to original but maybe this is how it should be because original released not that long ago.
And maybe "Bad Blood" can battle for the lead because it has two versions that should be combined?

Taylor also surpassed Drake in the number of streams on Spotify as a lead artist (via kworb) with last pre-1989TV update.
There is still a giant gap between them in total streams. That margin is still very hard to overcome even with this year Taylor's performance but doesn't seem unattainable anymore.

Underwhelming, sure, but one of her worst songs? I know music taste is subjective but this seems like a pretty drastic take

the numbers are crazyyy, not sure about the stability since it's not a regular album, but Taylor top 10 isn't impossible anymore, especially with PTTR at 200 points.
