Notes:
-like with the official YE chart, Lose Control is the current leader for the YE1 spot. However, imo, the song that has the best shot of dethroning it would be A Bar Song (Tipsy). Not only is it the current #1 and looks poised for a long, stable run atop the charts, but Lose Control will hit 52 weeks soon, which will make it vulnerable to a major album bomb knocking it out. Getting knocked out prematurely would also open the door for Beautiful Things, though the fact that it fell out of the top 10 this week means I don't expect it to be the YE1
-aside from I Remember Everything (which will be passed by Like That), I expect the current songs in the top 10 will compose the final top 10. Which, tbh, feels like an accurate description of the year.
-on that note, Please Please Please, Birds of a Feather and Good Luck Babe are the last three songs that I feel confident will cross into the top 20. This would come at the expense of Texas Hold Em, Cruel Summer and Agora Hills. Cowgirls and Pink Skies have an outside shot of getting there, though expecting either to pass Greedy or any of the songs charting now will require a ton of stability which, to be fair, both artists have proven capable of.
-after Ain't No Love in Oklahoma and Bulletproof lock in the next two weeks, there will likely be a dry spell for songs passing the cutoff. The only songs currently listed in the "other" category that are even in the top 30 are High Road and Lies Lies Lies. Not to say none of the songs besides that one have a shot, just that if they do, it will take a longer time to get there.
Longer term, some songs that have a solid chance of finishing on this list even if they miss the official list include:

Billboard Year End 2024 (Alt. Points System + Alternate Dates)
Hello everyone! This is my own version of the Year End! The primary differences from the other predictive lists are:
Point system: My point system is based purely on chart position- 1-10 get 10 points, 11-20 get 9 points, etc. so a song can only earn a maximum of 10 points each week. This point system rewards longevity more than anything.
Dates: The chart starts and ends at the same time of a calendar year- So starts the first week of January, ends the last week of December. This makes it slightly different from the official Billboard charts, but I ultimately think it allows for a more unique and accurate chart depicting the music of the year. I've been keeping track of the charts like this since 2017, so if you're interested in any of those lists, let me know!

Actually I think Taste and Die With a Smile will fall just short, assuming it’s still to October. Much like 24K Magic in 2016 which was one week shy. Hope I’m wrong though.

And Die With A Smile will have more points than Taste, considering it debuted a week earlier. I still will like to see the former pulling in 300+ points weekly to safely ensure its spot in the lower region of the 2024 Billboard Hot 100 year end.
