"Where Dem Dollas At" was my unofficial intro to Three 6 Mafia. I'm not mad at its position. RIP Gangsta Boo.
"We Can Freak It" was a big regional hit. I didn't realize it peaked higher in airplay.
"Whoa!" is just epic. I was thinking maybe a Top 20 position, but it's close enough.

25. On a Sunday Afternoon - A Lighter Shade Of BrownA Lighter Shade Of Brown was formed in California by One Dope Mexican (Robert Gutierrez) and Don't Try To Xerox (Bobby Ramirez). They're best known for their 1991 single "On a Sunday Afternoon" which peaked at #39 on the Hot 100 and topped the charts in New Zealand. Samples "Groovin'" by The Young Rascals, "Crystal Blue Persuasion" by Tommy James & The Shondells, "Papa Was Too" by Joe Tex, and "La-La (Means I Love You)" by The Delfonics. The song features singer Shiro Stokes and radio DJ Huggy Boy. Don't Try To Xerox collapsed from a combination of heatstroke and alcohol abuse in 2016. He passed away after being in a coma for 11 days. 25. On a Sunday Afternoon - A Lighter Shade Of Brown: LOL when I saw that there were two Top 10s and six Bottom 10s for this song, I was thinking "oh good, this is one of my Bottom 10s, yayy." But then it ended up being one of my Top 10s, with this being my #9, lmao. Okay this was a new song to me as I don't recognize the song/artist but I did really like this. Sad to see this song show up now but, it's not like a "Whoa!" robbery to me, at least. 24. 5 O'Clock - Nonchalant: I don't remember this but I see this is my #31 so it must have been either okay for me or I just didn't care much for this. Interesting how this song has no Top 10 or no Bottom 10 rankings. So the 9th lowest SD makes sense here. 23. P.S.K. What Does It Mean? - Schoolly D: Another song that I don't really remember that well. But with this being my #33, I'm more than fine with this showing up now. 22. My Neck, My Back - Khia: LMAOO UGHH, I just KNEW it that this song was going to be the most polarizing song with the highest SD. I am not surprised at all but ugh I'm sad to see this just be so shy just to miss out making the Top 20. :'( This is such an iconic classic rap song and Khia changed the game with this song. I will not hear otherwise. Although the clean edit of this song is absolutely hilarious. But yayyy to jtd Thee Stallion, 🇯🇲 lucy88 🇯🇲, B-Boy and Hurricane Lee for all ranking this in their Top 5s! 21. 151 Rum - JID: Okay well this is a better reveal, as this is my #29. This was just fine and middle of the road for me. Didn't really stand out but I didn't really dislike it either, I think. Oooof, this Top 20 is really rough for me as I feel I lost most of my Top 10 by now. I see I only got 4 songs left in my Top 10. I think I got the following left: 3, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, 30, 31, 33, 35, 36, 37, 41, 45

151 Rum isn't one of my favourites from JID but its still a really solid song that i would've liked to see in the top 20

16. Anti-Matter - King Geedorah feat. Mr. FantastikBorn in London and raised on Long Island, Daniel Dumile started out as a member of the group KMD with his brother and took on the name Zev Love X. The group went their separate ways after Dumile's brother was killed. In the late '90s he began performing with his face obscured and went by the name MF DOOM. In 2003 he released the album Take Me To Your Leader under another alias, King Geedorah. The single "Anti-Matter" features Mr. Fantastik and contains samples of "Sarsaparilla" by Metal Fingers, "Message From a Black Man" by The Whatnauts, and various Godzilla movies. Despite living most of his life in the US, MF DOOM never gaines US citizenship. He passed away from angioedema in 2020. 20. Daylight - Aesop Rock: With this being my #30, I'm fine with this showing up. Didn't really stand out to me but it was fine. 19. Concrete Schoolyard - Jurassic 5: Ughh dang, I ranked this at #18. This song couldn't have been nice enough to wait just one more ranking to show up? lmaoo. Didn't hear this song before but I liked it well enough to give it a decent ranking. 18. Ego Trippin' - Ultramagnetic MC's: Oops me being the lowest ranker of this song with putting this at #41. Pleased with this showing up and getting rid of one of my Bottom 10s. Hopefully the last one comes soon. 17. Rock Dis Funky Joint - Poor Righteous Teachers: Lol this song could have been at "Concrete Schoolyard" spot as I ranked this song at #19. Ugh so close to yet another perfect ranking. This is another song I wasn't too familiar with but liked it enough. 16. Anti-Matter - King Geedorah feat. Mr. Fantastik: I ranked this at #20 so it's another one of those songs I didn't know before this but I think I liked it. At least enough so to give a Top 20 ranking. Aww it's sad to hear about MF DOOM's passing. It's so sad to hear and read about so many rappers passings in this game. :( I didn't really do a good job of clearing out most of my bottom 20 lmao. But at least I didn't lose any of my remaining Top 10 songs today. I got the following left: 3, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 31, 33, 35, 36, 37, 45

Rough set. Hopefully "The Power" misses top 10; that's my only bottom 25 left. LOL Even in the hip-hop rankdowns, we're such opposites. That's one of the songs I'm really rooting for to make it high. I hope it can make it to the Top 10, especially with losing more than half of my Top 10 already.

15. Wanna Be a Baller - Lil TroyBorn in Houston, Troy Birklett got his start as a member of the group Mass 187 and founded the Short Stop label. His biggest hit came with the 1999 release of "Wanna Be a Baller". The single, which features Fat Pat, Yungstar, Lil Will, Big T, and H.A.W.K., peaked at #31 on the rap chart and #40 on the R&B chart. It's featured on the soundtrack of the video game NBA 2K19. Sadly most of the people featured on the song are no longer with us. Fat Pat was murdered in 1998, almost a year before the song's release. Fat Pat's brother H.A.W.K. was murdered in 2006. Lil Will, cousin of Lil Troy, passed away from a car accident in 2016. Big T passed away in 2018 from what was believed to be a heart attack. Yungstar is still active in the music business while Lil Troy became a truck driver, having formed Birklett Trucking Company. They later became members of the Juice Crew, having appeared on "The Symphony". In 1989 they released their debut album Road To The Riches, with the title track peaking at #16 on the rap chart. Samples "The Assembly Line" by The Commodores and "Stiletto" by Billy Joel, and was featured in the video game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. 12. Norf Norf - Vince StaplesBorn in Compton and raised in Long Beach, Vince Staples had released a few mixtapes by the time he signed with Def Jam. His 2015 single "Norf Norf" was his first to be certified platinum and appeared on several year-end lists. It garnered a bit of controversy when a woman, after hearing the song with her young daughter, criticized the song in a video that went viral. The woman received backlash, and Vince ended up defending her. Fun fact: Vince played in Snoop Dogg's Snoop Youth Football League when he was younger. this set was kinda brutal but Norf Norf missing top 10 is the biggest L of this set for sure... bummed it missed.
1 4 5 8 9 15 21 22 28 30
Not bad but also a bit annoying that *none* of this set took out any of my 21-30 ranks lol...
