A physical release of the song (CD, vinyl, cassette and a bundle containing the three of them) is available for pre-order on her store. Out on June 28. I’m sure she has Stan’s that want this, but it’s pretty much done in the US. I’m surprised they’re still pushing it. Is it even on any streaming charts at the moment. I personally love it, but it doesn’t seem like the general public does... This is basically done everywhere (well, it could give a final push / boost in the UK, which I think it's the main the purpose of the release), but she's, at least, consistent with the physical release of every single from this era. However, I have to admit that it would have been better if she released it earlier. |

That said, this whole era feels like it's just missed the mark. The album is solid, but waiting 4 years was unnecessary. She certainly can't afford to do that again now.

It’s kind of strange to think about it, but the wait between albums was too long while simultaneously, she was too present in the public sphere. Like this era didn’t feel like a moment because she didn’t give us anytime to breathe between the tour, the multiple singles, Barbie (granted she couldn’t have planned how well that song would’ve done.) I’m a believer that for a person like Dua, she needed the public to miss her if she wanted this era to be off to a strong start. There needed a decent sized break before it and a stronger aesthetic shift from FN if it was ever going to have a shot at generating buzz.
