I see some of the gerls went silent this week...  The irony was the silence on the gimmicks to get Mariah #1 this week. No one called it out because it is what it is. |

I hope "DJ Play A Christmas Song" breaks out from Bubbling Under...it would be wild if Elton John, Britney Spears, Cher, Madonna, The Beatles, NSYNC, DMX, and Blink 182 were all on the Hot 100 with new songs in 2023. What did DMX have that was new? I must have missed that |

I hope "DJ Play A Christmas Song" breaks out from Bubbling Under...it would be wild if Elton John, Britney Spears, Cher, Madonna, The Beatles, NSYNC, DMX, and Blink 182 were all on the Hot 100 with new songs in 2023. What did DMX have that was new? I must have missed that "Kant Nobody' with Lil Wayne charted for a week at number 66 back in March. |

Anyone know why for 2 years running there is such volatility with Perry Como’s IBTLALLC? Last year it fell 14-23 in a week when every other Xmas song was surging, and this year it bounced 29-48-24. Really unusual behavior for a typical holiday song. Yeah! This one. Please someone share your insight. This is really interesting. |

She is at #40 on the Top 40 airplay chart. Which means that at the anchor position of the chart for the most youth-oriented radio format is a song by a woman who is... 77 years old. (And who first appeared on playlists for that format almost 60 years ago.) |

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas is a great song for decorating the tree and seeing decorations in early December. By mid December it’s been looking like Christmas for a while lol, so it’s less relevant |
