The nicki album was ALL skips minus maybe SFG. Everyone on twitter is talking about how bad it is, feel kinda bad for the fans for having to wait this long for that... I dont even think she'll get a single top 10 with the strength of christmas music. I can see somewhat strong 1st day numbers, but based on the reception from people, those 2nd day numbers gonna be humbling...

Am I the only one who feels that Nicki's 1st day Spotify streams are underwhelming for all of the forced hype on Twitter, especially from big companies? Only one top 10 on US Spotify, and of course, it's the Drake feature. Maybe she will make it up in sales.

It's not underwhelming

It's terrible

For context: even if Christmas songs were taken out, she still did WORSE than Scarlet's 1st day numbers. Globally, both of Tate's singles drew more streams than Needle.

If the bright side for PF2 is that it outperformed Smile then that is brutal

Expected low numbers on Spotify (not 12M, but still…), AM is her main platform and she still has the top 7 and 8/10, 14/20.

Good debut for Tate. Assuming all the other tracks that didn't make it to the top 200 average at around 300k~ that's about 7,5 million total and she didn't quite have a strong core fanbase yet so the hold across the week should be quite good.

I dunno what everyone was expecting on Spotify but this is on par with her general performance on the platform lately, no?

She seems to be doing well on Apple Music so with the physical sales (of the half album) I'm sure she can crack 100k.
